There is a tree farm across the street from the campsite and a blueberry farm across Veazie. Picking time for blueberries is end of July into August. Deep lake is four miles from our house as well as Kanaskit State Park with a river. Mt Rainier is about 45 minutes away. Mt Peak, 1000 ft hike, is 4 miles toward Enumclaw from us. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. Wonderful place with great sites that have all services available. Great family game area, pool table in the beautiful lobby and a hot tub that has great views of the Hood Canal. Our dog and I found a well established low impact trail that went quite a distance out into the woods with benches and a picnic table.

Scott's campsite is exactly as described - large, private, and beautiful! Our dogs loved all the space for fetch and we all enjoyed spending lots of time at the site and also down by the river. The privacy, riverfront access, and thoughtful campsite can't be beat! Scott was also very communicative and getting into/out of the site was very straightforward. We're already looking forward to coming back someday!

We loved our stay here! The spot is super close to the many different beaches, and we had the best time paddle boarding and watching all the local wildlife. Having power and water right at the site was such a nice bonus, it made things really easy and comfortable. Getting in with our little teardrop trailer was no problem at all, and the host was fantastic quick to respond and really helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be back!
