Our campground is also our Tree Farm. Situated approximately 13 miles from Spokane Valley in the community of Newman Lake. These are dry sites without electricity, sewer hookups or dump. Potable water is available. It directly borders over 890 acres of land owned by inland paper company that can be utilized for hiking.
Campsites are surrounded by forested area allowing campers to submerge into a peaceful nature setting and there is plenty of privacy between each camp site. Wildlife like deer, turkeys, and an occasional moose are common. One can walk through the woods or just sit and listen to nature all around.
You will find many lakes just a short distance away. Coeur d'Alene is 16 miles away. Sandpoint is about 55 minutes away. Silverwood Theme Park is about 40 minutes. There is lots to do here from fishing and hunting to boating and skiing. Come visit soon!

Historically, Deep Creek Canyon was a winter encampment for the Spokane Indians, whose ancestral lands surround us. We feel the healing spirit of the land, in partnership and stewardship. Our original house was one of the first in the canyon, in the early 1940's.
There’s a map of the 5 acres that leads you to hidden features, like the gypsy fortune-telling tea house, a fairy mound at the base of a huge fir tree, a yoga platform, and a Buddha bench for contemplating or conversation.
