This small 25-acre ranch is just in the early stages of development. We are repairing fences and watering. I just added solar power and several electrical upgrades for RV's. The property has a 2000 feet of grass runway with an airplane hangar, so you could fly it if you have a STOHL airplane. The irrigation pond/pond yard area is currently available for camping. Many wineries, brewies and outdoor activities available in the area. Children can help feed or water the pigs and perhaps the chickens. Be aware though when piglets are around at times they are very small and are amazing escaped artists so do not keep food out unless you want to try and pet one they are friendly. We are more than happy to help suggest wineries and brewies in the area or enjoy the bar area we have! We offer several campsites as well as an in-ground greenhouse as listings. Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry). We offer five listings - a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, retro trailer, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot. Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk). Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower. Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk). Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. Our offerings include RV and tent sites, group sites, and day passes for the lake and picnic area. With various beautiful, wooded spots and premier water-view sites along the lake, each campsite provides a unique experience. Sites typically accommodate one vehicle and a picnic table, with available hookups for water and power (30 or 50 AMP) or primitive options. We also have a dump station at the campground entrance. Most RV and tent sites are optimally situated to be free from visible structures, allowing you to enjoy silent nights, dark starry skies, dirt paths, wildlife, and natural beauty. Our property offers an expansive and imaginative range of recreational activities. The lake, crafted decades ago by the Army Corps of Engineers, receives fresh, clean, and refreshing water from a local creek, flowing out underground to the next neighbor. Enjoy the sandy swimming area or bring your own non-motorized water toys. Safety is paramount; there is no lifeguard on duty at the lake, so please ensure everyone wears life preservers and stays mindful of water risks, especially children. Mary and Lloyd truly have such a wonderful property and were incredible hosts! The stay was cozy, beautiful and most importantly dreamy. This was the perfect locations for an engagement trip for my fiancé and I. The views and the incredible outdoor tub was the icing on top. 2 nights at Secluded Ridgeline Retreat

Our stay was even more magical than we could have imagined. The drive up felt like we were in Jurassic park (in the best way possible) and the views were insane. The cabin was cozy (heater included!) and the toilet and bath were extremely clean. Mary and Lloyd thought of all the details from a cute handwashing station to bath amenities (towels, soap, bath salts). We loved getting to know them and their sweet pup Leo. Thank you for the great stay! When we come back to the PNW we will definitely look to rebook.

Weekend Trip to Cowiche Canyon Orchard Cabin-Heated

I really enjoyed the space. This was a halfway point to get to Great Prosser Balloon Festival by 6a Saturday morning. I picked up a Walmart order then straight to the Cathaus. (We didn’t see the cat). I pulled together a little dinner. Maria had some dishes and utensils but I’d brought my own. I went and sat on the covered area overlooking the apple orchard with my dog. The local winery next door had an evening concert going, so even had a little entertainment. The workers cabin was cute. Nothing too fancy or too shabby. The full size bed was cozy. I’m not a huge fan of foam form pillows but at 4a I discovered one of the bunk beds had a fluffy pillow. Too bad I didn’t check around 9p when I turned in. 🙂 My border collie did well. There was ample lighting once dark to see the path to the outhouse. Plenty of books to browse or read if any guest wants to fill downtime. I enjoyed the location and the basket of homemade goodies to purchase. I guess if I had to provide any feedback, it might be to add some fairy lights maybe around the “kitchen” area. Everyone’s opinion will be different. I tend to like just a little light at night, typically in another room. The cabin was pitch dark when lights were out. I had brought some usb fairy lights with me and honestly I should have left them behind as a gift. Maybe I’ll throw my extra string in the mail to Maria. Thanks for the hospitality! Hope I have the opportunity to visit again.

The site was an easily accessible back in lot off a road in a cute little neighborhood. The lot itself was spacious, clean and welcoming. A patio area was set up with chairs, picnic table, fire pit(which we were not able to use because of dry conditions) and lights. Very enjoyable!

We loved the trailer site right beside the Butter Creek. The sound of babbling creek was incredibly soothing. Shelly came out to meet us and get us situated, Joe was there when we had a question. We left daily to go to the national park and felt secure in leaving everything. Shelly provided great laundry facilities on the last day and we took chairs and lunch down to the creek. It is full sun but with full hookup we were not uncomfortable. Wonderful hosts and location!
