Once done my grandma sold tickets to the tourist and my grandpa ran the engine around the 7 acre oval track pulling a train car full of happy tourist through the woods over the train bridge and past the big water tower back to their vehicles so they could finish their journies with a drive to Mt. Heated and cooled (fan) with a small "kitchen" area, it has a pull out futon which sleeps 2 and requires you supply your own bedding and towels. 1 Hour to Mt. Rainier National Park. 1 1/2 hours to Olympia National Park. 2 1/2 hours to Mt. St. Helens. 1 hour to Seattle. Close to Puget Sound and loads of nature spots. Local hiking and fishing aplenty. Our property is surrounded by nature, yet only a 5 minute drive into town where you will find charming shops, restaurants, cafes and coffee houses. There is also a fabulous movie theater. And only 15 minutes to the Red Wind Casino. There is a railroad track next to the property, but it is only used on Tues. and Thurs. between 10 am and 1 pm when a short train passes by and then returns. Rarely, it may have an additional passing but not often and it has never run after dark or early morning. (It is a military train so pretty punctual). (Also, as we are only a 5 acre property, we are close enough to roads that you may hear some traffic. They are county roads though and not highly traveled for the most part.) **Trigger Warnings: We are near the military base of JBLM and so you will occasionally hear their military doings. Country neighbors occasionally do some target practice, so you may hear some shooting. As we are a horse property, we will also require that everyone sign a release of liability waiver and will require all adults to show legal ID upon arrival. * We require a completed profile with a picture before we accept a booking.

This was a neat spot. Very cool to see all the animals and the hosts were very kind. Hook ups were reliable and ground in this specific site was level enough to only need one small block on one back tire. Note for anyone visiting, this is a working farm, and when there is not camping in the pasture it’s used for animals. Poop was everywhere, like every 10 (or less) steps there would be poop. It’s alpaca and goat so it’s not wet or gross, but you’ll want to bring some boots if you plan to walk around the field much - definitely not a place for bare feet. Would stay again, and keep this in mind for the future.

Beth was very welcoming in and friendly when we arrived at Blue Mist. Actually Shadow (the kitty) greeted us first (A+) but we felt very welcomed and it was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Lovely views across the farmland of the surrounding hilltops and mountains. Close to town if you want/need to grab groceries or coffee or a beer at the brewery. It was just what we needed on our journey. Next time we are near Enumclaw we would love to stay here again!

This place was great for passing through. Right off the main road but also very quiet and private. The space was well kept and pulling in and out was very easy. We would stay here again
