Just a short drive from Seattle, Mount Rainier offers springtime wildflowers, great hiking, and rock climbing opportunities during the warm summer months. The perpetually snow capped peak is set nearly 15,000 feet above sea level and is particularly popular with ambitious climbers, but there are also plenty of easier hikes for RV campers who want to take it easy. The national park has four campgrounds, three of which allow RVs. These are generally open from May or June until the end of September, and spaces book up quickly. If you want to go RV camping in the area outside of the busy high season or can't find a spot, plenty of privately run alternatives exist, ranging from small, privately owned RV campsites with picnic tables and hookups to larger RV parks with bathrooms, laundry facilities, and playgrounds.

Our rental property was once a mini Rail Road with full size locomotive's, train cars, pumper cars and more. My dad & grandpa layed all the tracks & put together the buildings in the 1970's. Once done my grandma sold tickets to the tourist and my grandpa ran the engine around the 7 acre oval track pulling a train car full of happy tourist through the woods over the train bridge and past the big water tower back to their vehicles so they could finish their journies with a drive to Mt. Eight minutes off SR 18 lies 11 acres of mostly undeveloped land. Dean's is a beautiful, bare-bones place to rest. Our main driveway is CLOSED this year for repairs. We have alternate arrival instructions for you after you book. These instructions add about 7 minutes (totaling 8 minutes) from SR 18 to the campground. Our location is convenient. We are just minutes from Auburn city limits. Road noise, planes, Pacific Raceways, and freight trains are audible here even if muffled by the trees. Our distant neighbors occasionally indulge in target shooting. We have a brand new neighborhood in construction on one of our property lines. In order to provide safety and peace, hosts live just outside the campground and closely manage happenings. All our sites have 2-4 persons occupancy in hopes of deterring parties. Our quiet hours are 8pm-8am so we can rest up for the next day’s adventures. Propane stoves are welcome during fire bans. We do not have a check in cut-off time. Reservations do need to be made before midnight. We have zero tolerance for hateful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward people, belongings, and wildlife. The 40+ year old trees and distance between the campsites provides space for you to bring and create your own vibes. Hosts should only approach you with safety or quiet hour concerns. They are available by phone 24 / 7 for any questions or requests you may have, and available by message 11am to 3am. Feel free to reach out any time. Our phone number can be found on Google.

There is a tree farm across the street from the campsite and a blueberry farm across Veazie. Picking time for blueberries is end of July into August. Deep lake is four miles from our house as well as Kanaskit State Park with a river. Mt Rainier is about 45 minutes away. Mt Peak, 1000 ft hike, is 4 miles toward Enumclaw from us. Cleaned after each persons use due to Covid 19 and just because we are really clean hosts.  Campsite faces a Christmas Tree Farm and cows in a field.  Blueberry Farm across the street.  Traffic noise as Veazie Cumberland is a main two lane road 100 feet from camp. Two parks within four miles. Four miles from the town of Enumclaw.

Our rental property was once a mini Rail Road with full size locomotive's, train cars, pumper cars and more. My dad & grandpa layed all the tracks & put together the buildings in the 1970's. Once done my grandma sold tickets to the tourist and my grandpa ran the engine around the 7 acre oval track pulling a train car full of happy tourist through the woods over the train bridge and past the big water tower back to their vehicles so they could finish their journies with a drive to Mt. Eight minutes off SR 18 lies 11 acres of mostly undeveloped land. Dean's is a beautiful, bare-bones place to rest. Our main driveway is CLOSED this year for repairs. We have alternate arrival instructions for you after you book. These instructions add about 7 minutes (totaling 8 minutes) from SR 18 to the campground. Our location is convenient. We are just minutes from Auburn city limits. Road noise, planes, Pacific Raceways, and freight trains are audible here even if muffled by the trees. Our distant neighbors occasionally indulge in target shooting. We have a brand new neighborhood in construction on one of our property lines. In order to provide safety and peace, hosts live just outside the campground and closely manage happenings. All our sites have 2-4 persons occupancy in hopes of deterring parties. Our quiet hours are 8pm-8am so we can rest up for the next day’s adventures. Propane stoves are welcome during fire bans. We do not have a check in cut-off time. Reservations do need to be made before midnight. We have zero tolerance for hateful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward people, belongings, and wildlife. The 40+ year old trees and distance between the campsites provides space for you to bring and create your own vibes. Hosts should only approach you with safety or quiet hour concerns. Offering a lovely, personal campsite area surrounded by beautiful trees nestled in the back of a ranch with horses (and chickens) just on the outskirts of the small, charming town of Yelm. (In some of the pictures you will see the horses in the area of the camp, but whenever there are campers they will not be turned out there.) There is 20 amp electric (which can safely power a 30 amp rv unless you run too many things at once) and water (hose). There is a porta-potty and a shower shed with a tankless water heater for your convenience. We also offer the option of a small bunk room in the barn. Heated and cooled (fan) with a small "kitchen" area, it has a pull out futon which sleeps 2 and requires you supply your own bedding and towels. 1 Hour to Mt. Rainier National Park. 1 1/2 hours to Olympia National Park. 2 1/2 hours to Mt. St. Helens. 1 hour to Seattle. Close to Puget Sound and loads of nature spots. Local hiking and fishing aplenty. Our property is surrounded by nature, yet only a 5 minute drive into town where you will find charming shops, restaurants, cafes and coffee houses. There is also a fabulous movie theater. And only 15 minutes to the Red Wind Casino. There is a railroad track next to the property, but it is only used on Tues. and Thurs. between 10 am and 1 pm when a short train passes by and then returns. Rarely, it may have an additional passing but not often and it has never run after dark or early morning. (It is a military train so pretty punctual). (Also, as we are only a 5 acre property, we are close enough to roads that you may hear some traffic. They are county roads though and not highly traveled for the most part.) **Trigger Warnings: We are near the military base of JBLM and so you will occasionally hear their military doings. Country neighbors occasionally do some target practice, so you may hear some shooting. As we are a horse property, we will also require that everyone sign a release of liability waiver and will require all adults to show legal ID upon arrival. * We require a completed profile with a picture before we accept a booking.

Our 45 acre parcel is "no frills camping" 15 minutes from Interstate 5. We are one hour from Mt Rainer and one hour and fifteen minutes from Mt Saint Helens. The camping area is an old christmas tree farm. We maintain two spots for camping. We have one porta-potty shared between campsites. Each campsite has one picnic table, fire-ring and access to a porta-potty. The area is quiet and secluded. Black-tailed Columbian deer are regular visitors, while the barn owls will serenade you in the evening. You will be able to see ALL the stars!  The road is suitable for small RVs, campervans, truck camping, small school buses, and cars (as long as the cars have some ground clearance). Not suitable for Class A RVs. It is an old logging road made of compacted rock. Cell service is OK. Upload/download speeds might be slow.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Traci and Khris's property. All the communications after we made the reservation were clear and directions and instructions simple. Traci was there to check us in and help get set up. The property is beautiful and quiet with horses and chickens nearby. We stayed there in our travel trailer while doing a kitchen remodel nearby but look forward to going back when we can relax under the beautiful trees around the firepit! Definitely recommend!!

We didn't see or hear anything from the adjacent properties, and felt like we were in the middle of nowhere by ourselves. The river and surrounding hills are BEAUTIFUL! Full hookups make it a breeze to stay here, as did the easy in-easy out with our 23 ft. trailer.

Pleasant Places campground is clean, quiet, spacious, and private with lots of nooks for R& as well as ample space for play and activities. It is an ideal location for large groups and in order to keep camp as a single site, largeer groups are given preference. Centrally located and with 10 acres of field, forest, and farm, there is something of interest for everyone. In camp you will find a rustic kitchen, two 6' picnic tables, and a fire pit with accessories. There is a resource area near the house with an electrical outlet and a Flexzilla water hose, so bring containers. We have really nice firewood bundles as well as fresh eggs for sale and lawn games, hammocks, etc., available for rent. While the campsite, play field, and driveway loops are mowed, most of the grounds are wild, so bring your tromping shoes. Birdsong comes early here, and the night is filled with the sounds of crickets. No city lights, so the stargazing is wonderful. The goats are gentle, curious, and deep body scratch lovers. The chickens and ducks are not hands-on but some, especially the ducks, will eat out of your hands. The local fauna include deer, skunk, coyote, rabbit, weasel, and possum--bear and cat are not common, but please do be conscientious about leaving food out and keep the lid on the compost. While there isn't water on the property, Mayfield, Ike Kinswa, and Riffe lakes are all 20-30 minutes from here and provide lots of boating, swimming, and fishing opportunities. Carlisle Lake offers walking trails, outdoor exercise equipment, fishing, summer concerts, and a playground, and is just a five-minute drive from camp. We are midway between Portland and Seattle and just 15 minutes off of I-5 making Pleasant Places a perfect meet-in-the-middle location. Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, the East Side, and the Pacific Coast are all day trips, just an hour or two from here. We are Judy and Summer and Chula, mother and daughter and dog, and we are pleased you are considering a stay with us. This camp site is very private and peaceful! We will be open from May 1st through September, 2026. We have a 3 night maximum stay per booking. The site can accommodate up to two RVs or 3-4 tents depending on the distance apart. We allow up to 6 people per booking. The firepit and the Snoqualmie River are about 150' away from your tent or RV. We have a porta-potti at the camp site and also two picnic tables. Pets are welcome at our HipCamp, but we do require that you clean up after them. Near North Bend there are several hiking/biking trails including the trail up Mt. Si., Si View Park, and the Rattlesnake Ridge trail system. For shoppers, we have shops in town and the Factory Outlet Mall. For dining, there are several restaurants in North Bend. I would like to thank our many campers who came down from Canada and around the world to visit our small tract of tranquility. We are a one hundred year old family owned farm with an organic garden, Permaculture garden, an apiary, and Christmas trees on six acres. We have horseshoes, tether ball, a small library and disc golf. Early spring the frogs go crazy later followed by the sounds of nesting birds. Fall is the season for migrating birds that rest at the ponds next door. August is the time to fill up on blackberries. There are individual campsites with a barbecue and picnic table and a shared fire pit. The fire pit didn't see much use last two years because of the fire danger so we have moved it to an open area that will be safer and hopefully be open longer, there is also an area at each campsite if you want to bring a propane fire ring (or we will have some for rent). I want to thank past campers for their suggestions, they have been tremendously valuable. We are becoming increasingly suburban and there is some road noise that can be heard and even with farms on three sides of us, you still might hear our neighbors in the distance. Campsites one and four are across the road from each other and campsites two and three are adjacent to each other, perfect if you have another family traveling with you. The Washington State Fair is 3.9 miles/ 13 minutes away, Tacoma Dome 7.5 miles/ 18 minutes, Point Defiance Park Zoo and Aquarium 19 miles/ 30 minutes and Wild Waves water park is 15 miles/ 26 minutes away. Eagles, hawks and Ospreys are frequent visitors to our property.

This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs above the shop, right on the property. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site available Memorial Day to Labor Day. The property makes a great base camp for exploring the area. Centrally located to all the Pacific NW has to offer including: Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Mt. Rainer National Park, Ohanapecosh, Packwood Lake, White Pass Ski Area and so much more. While you feel like you've stepped away from it all, you're only a 4.5 miles from the amenities of downtown Packwood, including restaurants, breweries, groceries and gas etc. Located in HV #10 neighborhood. Please do not park in front of or block the shop doors. Our site is designed for one party but will accommodate an additional 2 RV’s. This is the perfect spot for family and friends to get together. This property has three 30 amp 120 volt receptacles one for each RV/pay per hookup/per night. As there are NO bathroom facilities on the property, tents MUST be in conjunction with an RV that has an indoor toilet/shower (no outdoor showering). NO TENT ONLY camping. Pay to Play: Golf at the HVCC, which is about 500ft away, Guest Fees for golf are $40.00 including Holidays or Swim-Guest Fees are $10.00 and Holidays are double. Let me know if you want to be registered as guests to use these facilities. There are several hiking choices. There are hiking trails and public access to the Cowlitz River. Located about 10-15 minutes from Mayfield Lake. 20 minutes from Mossyrock. There are several nearby logging roads for exploring. This site is very quiet except for a few cars that drive by each day. There is a picnic table and fire pit with grill (except during burn bans, usually July-September). There is also some firewood available for use. Site has full hookups: 50 amp (240v) electrical service (adapter available to 30 amp, 120v), sewer, and water (not tested for drinking).

Welcome to the Bennett's Creekside campout, our property is located in the historical town of Wilkeson, just outside of Bonny Lake, Carbonado and Enumclaw. The site is 1.25 acres of partially wooded Creekside land with a large grassy clearing, just off the main street going through Wilkeson. It is on the main road but still peaceful with the sounds of the creek flowing just outside your tent. The creek has Salmon running in the fall and you might get lucky enough to have a few Deer or Elk pass through the property during your stay. Walking distance to the famous Carlson Block Pizzaria, Simple Goodness Soda Shop, the frying pan, bacon and eggs skate park, Wilkeson Eagles Club, Pick and Shovel Saloon, and a few more shops that round out this adorable little town. Bring your tents, camper van or truck and trailer combo of 35 feet or less and camp out in one of the Pacific Northwest's best kept secrets. Please see host rules for all restrictions, this is a pack it in, pack it out camp with NO TOILETS. With a high expectation of being respectful and leaving the property as you found it.

Pleasant Places campground is clean, quiet, spacious, and private with lots of nooks for R& as well as ample space for play and activities. It is an ideal location for large groups and in order to keep camp as a single site, largeer groups are given preference. Centrally located and with 10 acres of field, forest, and farm, there is something of interest for everyone. In camp you will find a rustic kitchen, two 6' picnic tables, and a fire pit with accessories. There is a resource area near the house with an electrical outlet and a Flexzilla water hose, so bring containers. We have really nice firewood bundles as well as fresh eggs for sale and lawn games, hammocks, etc., available for rent. While the campsite, play field, and driveway loops are mowed, most of the grounds are wild, so bring your tromping shoes. Birdsong comes early here, and the night is filled with the sounds of crickets. No city lights, so the stargazing is wonderful. The goats are gentle, curious, and deep body scratch lovers. The chickens and ducks are not hands-on but some, especially the ducks, will eat out of your hands. The local fauna include deer, skunk, coyote, rabbit, weasel, and possum--bear and cat are not common, but please do be conscientious about leaving food out and keep the lid on the compost. While there isn't water on the property, Mayfield, Ike Kinswa, and Riffe lakes are all 20-30 minutes from here and provide lots of boating, swimming, and fishing opportunities. Carlisle Lake offers walking trails, outdoor exercise equipment, fishing, summer concerts, and a playground, and is just a five-minute drive from camp. We are midway between Portland and Seattle and just 15 minutes off of I-5 making Pleasant Places a perfect meet-in-the-middle location. Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, the East Side, and the Pacific Coast are all day trips, just an hour or two from here. We are Judy and Summer and Chula, mother and daughter and dog, and we are pleased you are considering a stay with us.
