The Back Four at Dun Tun

We've built a new shelter for the compartment toilet for added privacy and weather protection in 2024! We are expanding our farm stand, in addition to eggs you will now find seasonal produce, firewood when fires are permitted and souvenirs made by folks who live and work on our farm. Both campsites are unimproved spots in our future silvopasture food forest. Located on the "back four" acres of our property, they're surrounded by trees and seclusion. We back to a small airport and are near a main road and you will probably hear traffic. Both campsites have trees and space protecting them from views of people or development. We improved our road in 2022 so bring your vehicle with no worries. We're just outside of the busy part of Port Townsend and close to farms, beaches and historic sites. Go into town for festivals, restaurants and the farmer's market. Chimacum, just two miles away, has several nice restaurants, breweries and farms that offer tours. We're two miles from restaurants, hardware stores and a grocery store in Port Hadlock. We're just 45 minutes from Olympic National Park and 2 hours to the Olympic Peninsula Coast so we're a great stop over. Hablemos Español. Glencove pasture and forest trails

The place has been farmland since about 1926. It became a family horse property with three pastures and now is a small lavender and blackberry farm. While it is limited to two RV sites, there may be farm visitors walking arond the area. Tall cedars and fir remain in the back of the property and provide for a forest experience. It is not a commercial campground. We are now turning it into a small lavender farm. About half of th original pasture is now covered in black ground mat and 3,000 newly planted lavender. Learn more about this land: One acre pasture for dry RV camping (no restroom facilities). There is a potable water/hose bib and an auxilliary 110 volt 15 amp AC connection via extension cord from barn. You should rely primarily on your own power. Walking trails are in cedar trees and on hill across 10 acres with flower fields and blackberry "farm". Free blackberry picking in season (August and Early September). Deer, racoons, foxes, bald eagles and occassional coyote on site. Keep food and trash secure. No toilet or sewer available. There is one portable "porta potty" type facility. Dry camping only, no camp fires allowed due to fire conditions. Pack out own trash/garbage. No Pets allowed. Only visible neighbors are three horses on neigboring 10 acre farm property. There is Wi-Fi. Beach access has been closed.

Spacious enough to accommodate everyone with plenty of room to spread out, our tepee is adorned with LED lights that create a beautiful ambiance at night, enhancing the magical atmosphere of your surroundings. During the summer months, the canvas remains in place, providing shade and protection from the elements, while during winter, it is carefully packed away until the warmer months return. Standing tall with 30-foot poles and a 50-foot diameter, our tepee is firmly anchored with three poles cemented in for extra support, ensuring stability and safety for our guests. As you explore the property, you'll encounter a delightful array of animals, including horses, peacocks, ducks, and chickens. Please note that we operate a dog rescue, and all rescue dogs are securely housed behind a dog fence. Our resident husky serves as a diligent patrol, ensuring the safety of our guests. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings, as coyotes, eagles, and hawks are known to frequent the area, adding to the natural beauty and charm of our tranquil retreat. Whether you're seeking a peaceful escape or an unforgettable adventure, our tepee on the prairie offers a one-of-a-kind experience that will leave you with cherished memories for years to come.

Reconnect with nature and escape the city. Pick one of the 2 "unplanned" campsites on our 1/4 acre surrounded by trees and boulders for added privacy. Site 1 - Behind the container cabins. Site 2 - Behind the log cabins. *This is a bit of an experiment for us, we have had a ton of requests to camp and everyone we have allowed has given us only positive feedback. Please keep that in mind and if something isn't right please let us know right away!

The Lookout is an amazing piece of property with elevations and expansive south facing views of Clear Lake, Rainier, Olympics, and the foothills of the Cascades. The site is perfect for sunsets, a launch pad to activities in Skagit Valley, and most importantly several private mountain bike flow trails (intermediate and experts only at this time).
