Welcome to Holistic Life Farm!
We are a working homestead and delight in sharing our daily experience and offer visits with our sheep, cows and chickens.
Holistic Life Farm offers a 1 dry tent site for up to 12 people, a quaint hideaway cabin, and a glamped out 16x20 canvas tent with a wood stove. We also offer 1 RV site in our parking area.
Stop on your way to Astoria and the coast and make this your destination. Find us about 30 minutes off I-5 freeway across the Longview bridge or 45 minutes east of Astoria. Our farm sits about 5 miles off Highway 30 to the north.
We can direct you to hiking and mountain biking trails in the area (Beaver Falls trailhead is 5 miles from our farm). There is a motor boat launch in the town of Clatskanie, with access to Columbia River.
There is also a launch in the city park for kayaking. The Zen Monastery is just 5 miles away. Long Beach, WA is across the Columbia River via the Astoria Bridge. Lounging about the homestead works too.

This is a 10 acre camp of wooded hills. This campsite currently has an rv pad for rent and a featured camp site with a hobbit house. Soon to be more tent sites. There is a firewood stand on site and bundles are only $5! The hobbit house is built back into a hillside and is underground, round doors, and arched ceiling stays true to hobbit architecture. This is a glamping opportunity. Inside the hobbit house there is a full bed for two, with a quality mattress and an adjustable bed frame that has a motor to lift body to sit up or you can raise legs. There is power inside and a small microwave for cooking. 30 feet away is a sink for cleaning and good drinking water. There is a bathroom area a short way down the hill with a flushing toilet and heated shower. Outdoors includes a fire pit, a few small springs and ponds and lots of trails to explore.
Your shelter and mattress will be top notch, however this is still a campground and you need to be prepared as a camper. Currently we do not have a refrigerator, bring your own cooler. No silverware, or plates are provided. You can heat things in the microwave or cook over the fire. Bring whatever utensils are needed. Within a couple miles of our location is Lewis River Golf Course, as well as popular water spotd of Merwin Lake Park, and floating the Lewis River. We have a scavenger hunt set up on the trails of our property if you want the challenge of finding our targets as you walk the trails.

Peaceful property tucked away from the hustle. The tent is spacious and well furnished. I enjoyed the solitude and wood fire stove.
There was a little calico feline concierge there to greet me but didn't wear a collar. After a shirt conversation we agreed their name would be Dr Concierge Dribble, as they drooled when pet. They were friendly and well behaved, be kind to Dr Dribbles if they pay a visit.
Awesome break in a tucked away paradise.

Weekend Trip to Fern Haus
Such a cozy and witchy vibe me and my fiancé had such a wonderful time staying here for Valentine’s Day weekend. The aesthetic was well thought out and the cabin was well stocked for a relaxing time. The cabin was a little hard to find in the dark when we arrived as it’s tucked into the back of the property, but once we found it it was nothing but a great time.

Wonderful little slice of property! Directions are clear, setup is simple, lodging is as advertised. We loved our stay in the little A frame cabin - clean, cozy, comfortable. We rented a buddy heater to keep warm & it worked great, only needed it for about an hour. Nestled the two beds together to make one large space. Used wagons to help transport goods down to the cabin & were grateful they were available. Host is responsive and kind - swapped some farm goods for some shellfish & gave us good hiking and local event info. Great stay!!

I stayed in the A-frame cabin in the woods and it couldn’t have been more perfect. I needed a retreat to get away by myself and reconnect with nature and this was well beyond what I expected. Kyle took great care of me upon checking in and Sydney offered me a dozen farm fresh eggs that had just been harvested! I left after three days and two nights a brand new person!!! Thanks :-)

Beautiful farm with very kind hosts. We had a great time unplugging, connecting with the livestock, and enjoying the sunrise and sunset each day. The tent stayed warm so long as someone was up to tend to the wood stove. Would definitely recommend this getaway.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at this amazing property in the Witches Cabin. My daughter and I explored around the property and we had the best time. Dionne is a amazing host that helped us find the location and also came out to make sure we were all good at our campsite later on in the night. I recommend going to this hipcamp any time!

The little A-frame structure was perfect for my needs and stood up well to some pretty blustery weather on my first day. It takes a minute to locate the structure if you arrive in the dark and rain, as I did, but once I was oriented, all was well. Definitely recommend this instead of a tent if you're coming at a time of year when the weather is a bit unpredictable.

We had the best time in the forager site!
The room was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We had a big storm come through the night of our stay and the hosts were super hospitable and brought us a backup power bank. The heater blankets on the bed were a great touch too!

Such a beautiful space! It was real rainy and slippery so did not quite make it all the way up the hill in my subaru outback but that was no problem at all. Awesome bed came with bedding and pillows and an electric fireplace so it was cozy the whole night. Really appreciated staying here!

The Hobbit House was a perfect little getaway for my partner and I with our large dog. We had a fun time walking the trails and doing the scavenger hunt (we got all but 3 of them). Our 2 wheel drive Honda didn't make it all the way up to the house, but we didn't mind the short walk. We ran into Rob on the trails and he was a very friendly host.

The Hobbit House was such a beautiful stay, nestled in the side of a hill in a very quiet area. The surroundings were fun to see on the designed scavenger hunt. The neighbour dog is well-trained and left us alone for our stay (we have a reactive dog). The electric fireplace kept us very warm throughout the night. I felt the outhouse was really clean though we didn’t use the shower. The sink right near the Hobbit House was also very convenient!

My friends and I had a WONDERFUL time Rob’s Hobbit hideout. My car (two-wheel drive) couldn’t make it halfway up the hill, but we made it work. There’s running water, a toilet and shower down the hill, and the hobbit hole stays warm with the heater. There’s electricity too! The ground is grassy (with some blackberry bramble but nothing where we were walking) and a beautiful view of the opposite hillside. We even had a good clear view of the sky at night! The firepit has a grill over it and I used my cast iron and we made some Chunk steaks and corn. There’s a table to stand around and some tree trunks to sit on. There are also more chairs inside the hobbit hole with another table (and microwave. Rob came up once in our stay to say hi and make sure we were doing okay, otherwise we had our privacy and it was so much fun.
Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet get away!!
