Yeti's Tree House is in an old growth forest only minutes away from town. It's 18 feet off the ground, four massive trees hold it up. It has all the amenities: an outdoor soaking tub, full indoor bath, kitchen, fireplace, indoor hammock, huge deck,Big TV, WIFI. Rumor is a friendly Sasquatch is around.A Three-minute walk from the parking lot, Yeti's Tree House is like no other. It's 18 Feet in the air and has all the amenities! There is an outdoor GIANT soaking tub and shower on the massive deck, a real ZIP LINE from the deck to the ground below. A 1950s-style retro kitchen with a kitchen table, and a full indoor bathroom. All the walls are beautiful knotty pine. Upstairs is a giant hammock and a queen-sized bed; the hammock can sleep up to three. There is also a small double pull-out. A picnic table is halfway on the trial to Yeti's Tree House. It is tranquil and private; however, since you are so close to town, a neighborhood is within shouting distance:-) No Parties or wandering off into the woods. Dogs MUST BE LEASHED. There is said to be a friendly Sasquatch who roams the woods. I actually have a photo! If you're lucky, you might see him. Also, there are deer, owls, eagles, chipmunks, rabbits, and much more. Fantastic hiking is nearby at the Arboretum, up at Council Crest, and at the famous Pittock Mansion. All are a very close drive. (please do not hike the property; you will run into a neighbor eventually. :-) Enjoy the three-minute hike to the tree house from the parking area, the picnic area, and the beautiful view from the huge deck while soaking in the giant soaking tub. Or take the Zip Line down!

Yeti's Tree House
Beautiful little treehouse
I had a wonderful stay at the treehouse. The giant hammock was great for lounging and watching movies. The zipline was well loved as well. the trail from the parking area was a bit tiring with all our gear. If you are traveling with someone with mobility issues, this place may be challenging to navigate, especially the stairs to the loft. Otherwise, it was gorgeous, fun, clean, and relaxing. It is nestled right in a neighborhood in Portland. There are lots of beautiful trees surrounding it.

Yeti's Tree House
The inside of the treehouse was very nice. No complaints. The walkway needs some anti-skid material as it is very slick when wet. Don’t advertise the hot tub. That was the biggest disappointment. This was not a hot tub, but a horse trough the visitor had to make into something that may loosely resemble a soak tub…maybe.

Yeti's Tree House
Absolutely fantastic spot, our kids loved it! The hot tub, the zip line, being up in a treehouse, the net bed, all of it was great! Lots of nice little touches!

Yeti's Tree House
Great little family getaway
Wonderfully refreshing! Surprisingly secluded given the neighborhood. Well done. Took us a minute to figure out the washing machine when the linens weren't ready when we arrived, but host was great in responding to help us out. The kids loved the hammock and the movies there were great.

Yeti's Tree House
It's secluded in the woods. There is a freeway next door so road noise is there. Super love the hammock, and design of loft in general. Amazing how many people could fit. If you are a bigger group, kitchen is small. A few coffee amenities and spices but nothing else. Dishes and a pot and pan. The two burner built in stove top is great for cooking or hearing water for tea. The soaking tub is super hot when first filled and lovely to sit in looking at the trees. Zip line is fun. The atmosphere and thoughtfulness of the place is really just perfect for a night away and this is so close to the city. If you want off the beaten path, this isn't really that, but to have a hideaway in the city is really cool. Oh and a washer dryer too. The small tree house has all you need tucked into a well planned space. Will visit again!!
