We are located on South Whidbey Island, in a thickly forested area. You will be surrounded by tall fir trees and salal bushes, waking up to the birds' morning song. Just two miles from the Seaside Village of Langley, you are minutes from some of the best coffee and morning treats or a breezy rooftop dinner overlooking the Salish Sea. We live on our property, and have kids, dogs and chickens. You may hear us working, animals making animal sounds, and the kids riding their bikes up and down the driveway. You are also welcome to wander and check out the trails. Our home is a short walk up the driveway from the camp site, and you can partially see it from your parking spot. We live in a small neighborhood of 5 acre parcels, the neighbors are quiet but their vehicles are visible through the trees when they drive past. Whidbey Island is rural and therefore has spotty cell service. Some campers have said that their carrier does not get good cell service at our campsite, so be aware of that please. If needed, you can walk up to our yard where the sky is a little clearer to make a phone call or send a text. Please only park vehicles and campers in the gravel parking area and do not move the logs that line the gravel area. You are welcome to unplug the string of lights for a darker nighttime experience.

At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust and collaborative partners purchased the easement to Insure Glendale farm maintains agricultural practices and wildlife habitat forever! Please be aware this is a working farm with poultry, livestock, and the use of farm equipment providing a great experience for farm life. Glendale Farm experienced a devastating loss in 2022 when the primary residence burned down. Nearby wetlands provide lots of food for birds, bats, and dragonflies. Other wildlife you may see are deer, bunnies, owls, quail, butterflies, garter snakes, and raccoons. Lots of native flora can be identified with your plant identification app or book. The beach is about a mile away where you can hunt for sea glass and enjoy the waves or build yourself a shelter out of driftwood. However we do have free-roaming chickens (ask us about fresh eggs!) so leashed up or chicken-friendly dogs please. Guests love staying here: "Gorgeous spot to sit, relax and take in the sunset across the farm fields before tucking in. We visited for one night with a 10.5’ tall camper van rented from Cabana, which fit easily under the shelter with plenty of clearance. The shelter itself is a great spot to get outside and eat a meal, and the rocking chairs in the yard were chill too! An occasional loud truck will go by on the nearby road, but not bad. We slept fine. Walk to Finnriver Cidery for dinner (yum)"

This easy access site has electricity (RV panel with 30A and 50A hookup options as well as a 20A outlet) and water hookup, as well as a firepit and picnic area overlooking the farm. Enjoy an immersive stay on our holistic farm nestled in Beaver Valley, or use our spot as a base camp for adventures deeper into the Olympic Peninsula. We are just 45 minutes away from the Olympic National Park and 20 minutes from Port Townsend. We are a working farm with gardens, chickens, sheep, a llama named Cue and a few very friendly farm cats. During the day, you will likely see us working on the land or around the property - we live with other land mates who also work on the farm. Feel free to explore around the farm and enjoy the animals and the gardens - we just ask that you stay on the paths and keep all gates closed to help protect the plants and animals! The site has a 30 amp hook up (as well as a 50A hookup option or 20A outlet for any other appliances that may need to be plugged in). When you come down the driveway, you take a right at the first fork to drive into the large graveled parking lot, where you will find the designated parking spot against the North side of the barn. There is (1) sani-can unit (toilet) that is serviced monthly available for use, and a sink for handwashing and an additional fresh water supply. The metal trash bin next to the sani-can is for your use - please do not use any other trash cans in or outside of the barn as these are for events only. You will also find a wood firepit and chairs available for use right beside your site. Please bring your own wood to, or feel free to purchase wood through this listing. Also feel free to enjoy the covered seating area alongside the west side of the barn, overlooking the animals, gardens and expansive valley view! We are also situated less than a 10-minute drive away from an easily accessible dump station in Port Ludlow, on the way to the Hood Canal Bridge. Please understand that we are a working farm that hosts businesses and other visitors. You will most likely see us and perhaps other guests during your stay! Our home is further down the driveway (to the south of the barn) and we have land mates and an Airbnb unit attached to our house. You will likely hear the sounds of farm projects, animals and people at times. We also live off the busy Beaver Valley road, making us an ideal location for access to the greater Peninsula, but also please know that you may notice road noise at times during your stay with us. We are not in a remote area that is completely silent - we are a bustling farm in a happening place. If you are seeking somewhere very remote without a lot of noise, projects or people coming and going, our site is sadly not for you. This is just the reality of our situation and we always want to make sure our guests know what to expect. That said, this also makes for an exciting, immersive experience if you're looking to connect with the bustling farming and food culture in our region! Dun Tun is a 5-acre working smallhold we are assisting back to a healthier level. We have animals, plants and people contributing to improving the soil and biodiversity. You may see our meadows high and full of wildflowers or cut short for our animal's benefit. Both make for excellent views from our campsites. 2026 update! We welcome Tio and Rosie, our two new livestock guardian dogs, to the DunTun this year. They are still puppies and learning their jobs so please keep all pets on leashes and away from livestock areas. Our sheep, goats and dogs are on pasture during the day, inside electric fences, so please use caution and keep your pets and kids safe. We have also installed a perimeter fence around the back four acres but please continue to keep pets on leash for their safety and the safety of our animals. We built a new shelter for the compartment toilet for added privacy and weather protection in 2024! We are expanding our farm stand, in addition to eggs you will now find seasonal produce, firewood when fires are permitted and souvenirs made by folks who live and work on our farm. Both campsites are unimproved spots in our future silvopasture food forest. Located on the "back four" acres of our property, they're surrounded by trees and seclusion. We back to a small airport and are near a main road and you will probably hear traffic. Both campsites have trees and space protecting them from views of people or development. We improved our road in 2022 so bring your vehicle with no worries. We're just outside of the busy part of Port Townsend and close to farms, beaches and historic sites. Go into town for festivals, restaurants and the farmer's market. Chimacum, just two miles away, has several nice restaurants, breweries and farms that offer tours. We're two miles from restaurants, hardware stores and a grocery store in Port Hadlock. We're just 45 minutes from Olympic National Park and 2 hours to the Olympic Peninsula Coast so we're a great stop over. Hablemos Español. This place was well-maintained and conveniently located to Port Angeles. If you like quiet and dark camping, the dry sites were great - no streetlights to keep you up. The family recreation area had a basketball net and a volleyball net, but nothing for younger kids, so bring your own stuff for them. The bathrooms were spotless. Everyone we talked to at the front desk was incredible friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

This is a commercial RV park that books partially through Hipcamp. That said, the park is fairly new, clean and well maintained. The showers are private clean and spacious. There is a robot store (not sure what the correct term is) for snacks and other necessities. The spaces are fairly close together with no physical boundaries but it was perfect for our purposes as a stop coming to and from the ferry to Victoria Isand. We would certainly stay there again.

This was our first time staying at The Glen and we LOVED it. We will definitely be back. Friendly, helpful staff with very clean, well maintained facilities. During our stay they had a limited supply of fresh cinnamon rolls in the morning from a local place and they were the perfect way to start our day. The indoor hot tub, showers, and bathrooms were all super clean and well stocked. The back in RV sites offer full hook ups and ours was by the creek which was lovely to listen to during the day. The grounds were surprisingly quiet, even though it was almost full. Everyone was very respectful and friendly. They have a wonderful trail along the creek through the forest, which we really enjoyed. On Saturday night they played the classic Willy Wonka movie on the lawn and had popcorn for everyone. Overall, this was a memorable stay and we cannot wait to go back.

Beautiful views, a clean and well kept camp site, and excellent communication by our host Jeff were just a few of the reasons we enjoyed staying here. Access to the neighborhood boat ramp and all of the nearby recreation activities were added bonuses. If you need a place to relax and enjoy some time near Port Ludlow this is it.

We camped for 3 nights at site E. The sites are clean and well leveled on gravel and the property was quiet, well maintained and deer friendly. The owners home is on site and they are friendly and helpful if you need them but also non-intrusive. With full hookups this was a good place to base at for exploring the area!

We’ve stayed here three summers in a row and really enjoy the spot. It’s clean and beautiful and has a nice sitting area. We love being able to walk across the street to Finn River and you’re super close to the corner store and farmers market on Sundays. Highly recommend!
