It's currently identified as a USDA type silvopasture farm. The priority crop is growing native fir trees that will be harvested in 60+ years as telephone poles. During this time, the land will be grazed by a variety of livestock balanced to keep fields and animals healthy and productive. The current owners purchased the farm fall of 2023 from a family estate that owned it since the 1970s. Our group-style camping area is ideal for small groups of people or couples. We have a total of 4 spots. Spot #1 is our largest spot, suitable for 4 or 5 two-person or three-person tents. Spot #2 is a bit smaller, ideal for up to 3 medium-sized tents. Spots 3 and 4 are suitable for two small to medium-sized tents. Camp spots are next to each other, so there's not a lot of "wild forest camping" here.  We refer to it as urban camping. All spots are level and graveled. Please be aware that there is some traffic noise in the area, as we are near Highway 2.   There are also picnic tables in the camping area for all campers to use as well as several hammocks.. Access to the river is very nearby. Weekend camping is limited, and you may occasionally hear the sound of a train whistle. WiFi and a fire pit are included, as well as on-site port-a-potties.  Hot outdoor showers are also on-site and available to all rafters and campers. There is a large communal fire pit, but no individual campfire pits; however, the option is to bring a propane stand-alone fire pit.  Fires are allowed in April, May, and June; the fire ban starts on July 1st due to wildfire concerns. No smoking and children are OK as long as they are kept under control and monitored at all times.   Our property features potable water, on-site outdoor showers, and a foot-operated hand wash station.  Our camping area is somewhat small and does not have grass, but it is graveled.  Please be respectful of our neighbors and other campers by keeping your music at a low to medium volume.  Please bring a photo ID and a credit card to complete our camper registration form.  Additionally, we are a river rafting company, so we may not have anyone present when you arrive - don't worry, we are likely on the river and will return soon!  *** Please message before booking to ensure we are a good match***

Wenatchee is 12 miles away, 35 miles to the Gorge Amphitheater, 30 miles to Leavenworth and 45 miles to Lake Chelan. This is an farming area with cherry orchards 200 feet from the site. It is busy during cherry harvest (4th of July through end of July) with regular chemical sprays being applied by our neighbors from April through September so if you are sensitive to agricultural chemicals this site is not recommended. Also be advised we're on top of a mountain and can get quite breezy at times. Pets are welcome but should be supervised due to predators (primarily coyotes and various birds of prey). And the chickens, I have a friend raising chickens on the upper part of the property where they mostly just make routine chicken noises but there are some roosters that seem to be nocturnal which some folks can find annoying. We also have varying numbers of snakes as the weather warms up some years they are more prevalent than others (contact me if you are concerned for a snake report). On the bright side we don't have any wasps or mosquitoes. This site is available once the snow melts and the mud dries up, typically mid-March until it begins freezing on a regular basis which varies but not much past mid October. This spot is also available for longer term rentals.

Nice spot to spend the night when passing through the area. Sheri was helpful with our late(r) arrival and ensured our spot would still be available. We appreciated the heated bathrooms just a short walk from our site. The RV park is next to the highway, but we weren't bothered by any noise at night.

Found this place same day and very happy we did!! It is more so set up for rvs but we had no problem setting up our tent to camp. The host was so accomodating and called us before to check in with us and after we left. Super close to Chelan which is what we were looking for. Definitely would stay here again.

Weekend Trip to River Recreation's Basecamp

Don's space was a decent place to spend a quick night while we were at an event in Leavenworth. Directions were clear and the site was tidy. It's located on his basecamp for river rafting, so it's convenient for a quick night or two, but wouldn't be intended for private relaxation. The white noise from the river and wind was great! The traffic noise isn't disturbing, and the train only went by once.

1 night at Bianchi Vineyards RV Site

We enjoyed five nights at Kim‘s, site B. Our camper faced towards the river and the open valley with a lovely view. We sat outside most evenings after the temperature had dropped and enjoyed a complete quiet, tranquil, starlight setting. Kim has a lovely dog named North who visited our site and was a gentle welcoming soul. We are dog people and loved his visits. I will note that Kim was very responsive in checking to make sure that it was OK if North visited our site. Our rig and approach to the site: 26’ bumper-pull travel trailer pulled by a 3/4 ton truck. We went just past the designated pad and backed into the site, super easy. Pros: Quiet, scenic, safe, very communicative host, accessible, great location. Cons: None, it’s a lovely place to enjoy.

What an amazing view!! We needed a getaway from the west side and this place was the answer. RV spots are placed in locations with great views. So relaxing! I’m sad this winery is retired because their wine is phenomenal. Kim is gracious and friendly and absolutely lovely. We can’t wait to come here again!!

5 nights at Cascade Marina and Resort

We stayed at the Cascade Marina during fair week. It was nice and quiet and about a 5 minute drive to the fairgrounds. Hook up was easy and the area was large. The area is all gravel with concrete pads, no grassy areas open to the campers. There is a bathroom and shower available to campers which was wonderful, but on a side note there are extra doors (you cant open while in the bathroom or shower area, but see it goes to another room) that make the bathroom uncomfortable. I would love to see doors put in with locks from the bathroom so the campers can feel secure and safe. We would stay again for sure.

2 nights at River Recreation's Basecamp

Don is super kind and even though he was not there he was quick to answer the phone anytime we had questions. Cute little place that we fortunately got to ourselves :) we slept on hammocks one night, which was super fun. The train noises aren’t that bad and neither was the interstate across the river, the river flowing makes up for it. I would definitely recommend this place for a group, we were just a group of girls and we felt totally safe here.

Weekend Trip to Spray Canyon Ranch

We loved camping here! My friends and I camped in tents on this property and while it was more set up for RV’s we still had an amazing time and the views were amazing. About a 20ish minute drive to lake chelan. There’s not much service but there is a super cute phone booth that actually works!! The hosts were so welcoming and sweet, and responded quickly with any questions. We will definitely be back :)
