Our property offers an expansive and imaginative range of recreational activities. The lake, crafted decades ago by the Army Corps of Engineers, receives fresh, clean, and refreshing water from a local creek, flowing out underground to the next neighbor. Safety is paramount; there is no lifeguard on duty at the lake, so please ensure everyone wears life preservers and stays mindful of water risks, especially children. Children under 12 must be supervised near the water.

We've spent the last 7 years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads.
Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry).
We offer five listings - a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, retro trailer, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot.
Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk).
Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy.
Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower.
Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk).
Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house.

Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis.

Rural farm camp in Yakima's west valley. This relaxed campsite is bordered by fruit orchards and farms on a very quiet dead end road. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains.
There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear.
There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Multiple tent sites , restroom available
Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night.
Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. There are fire rings at each site for your use (unless burn ban in effect)

If you are into quads, motorcycle riding or 4x4 off-roading this place is perfect. There are forest service roads and trail riding nearby. Jeep and off road groups come from all over the state to ride in the foothills, just 30 minutes away.
Winter time campers are welcome too!
Winter access is easy, county road to entrance of Hipcamp is plowed by county road crews and as host I have tractor 🚜 to plow the camp area prior to your arrival.
Snowmobiles are welcome in winter and you get a reduced nightly rate. Ride and play in the snow around the camp property or drive 20 minutes to foothills with trails and forestry roads open to sleds. Bring the whole group, plenty of room on this property for as many as 20 rigs and trailers.

AMENITIES/THINGS TO DO:
-There is a communal bunkhouse on property available to guests with a flushable toilet and a hot water shower. It also includes a kitchenette and we welcome you to use any of the kitchen/cookware and appliances. Our 2 French Bulldogs also stay in this building but they love humans and all the attention you can give them!
-We have a wellness yurt with well equipped gym that is available to use as an add-on.
-There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt accompanied by a cold plunge as an add-on.
-You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast.
-Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, piggy, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending 21 miles from Buckley to Puyallup.
-Communal fire pit areas with picnic table and chairs available when fire ban is not in effect. There is one close to the communal kitchen area, one closer to the field by the barn, and we have a moveable metal one which we can transport to your camp spot if preferred. We sell a milkcrate full of wood for $10 if needed.
-WIFI is available closer to the communal area.

We offer five listings - a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, retro trailer, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot.
Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk).
Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy.
Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower.
Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk).
Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house.

Winter access is easy, county road to entrance of Hipcamp is plowed by county road crews and as host I have tractor 🚜 to plow the camp area prior to your arrival.

-We have a wellness yurt with well equipped gym that is available to use as an add-on.
-There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt accompanied by a cold plunge as an add-on.
-You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast.
-Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, piggy, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending 21 miles from Buckley to Puyallup.
-Communal fire pit areas with picnic table and chairs available when fire ban is not in effect. There is one close to the communal kitchen area, one closer to the field by the barn, and we have a moveable metal one which we can transport to your camp spot if preferred. We sell a milkcrate full of wood for $10 if needed.

As you enter through the front door, you're greeted by a warm and open living space. The family room features a dramatic stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and a wall of windows so you can view the mountains and the river. Living room furnishings include leather couches, ottoman (cot inside), and coffee table—perfect for game night. There's also a 70” Smart TV in the living room (bring your Netflix and Hulu credentials and pick up where you left off), Wi-Fi, Polk Audio Surround Sound System. Full forced air heating and air conditioning for the perfect climate.
Next to the living room and centered in the house is the custom kitchen, featuring granite countertops, stove/range, toaster oven, coffee maker, Keurig, wine fridge, Mixer, pots, pans, dishes, and all your cooking essentials.
The dining area is furnished with a large dining table, chairs, and a bench. The table expands for more seating with 2 extra chairs in the bedroom closet.

Very attentive host/owner, and well maintained spot! The only minor down side was on us for choosing the wettest time of year, but we’re die hard PNW’rs so.
Great spot for a couple looking for full hookups and a quiet space to call “home” for a couple days while visiting the area.

Weekend Trip to The Khohay Farm
The Khohay farm was an incredible place to visit. Jenel and Khohay were both very accomodating made made our stay a delight. They had wonderful reccomendations for places near by and made sure my partner and I had everything we needed. Anytime I stay in the area, I'll keep their place in mind.

This is a beautiful spot, tucked in the trees and with the sound of the creek in the background.
RV spot is gravel, level, and there is electricity and water. There is also sewer dump available; we didn't use it since we were just there for the weekend and spent most of our time skiing up at White Pass. But the point is, this spot is well set up for longer term stays.

Weekend Trip to The Khohay Farm
Jenel and Khohay were very communicative hosts! It’s very clear they put a lot of love and character into their property. We loved the farm fresh eggs for breakfast in the morning and would highly recommend the sauna as an add on! We enjoyed waking up to the rooster “roostering”, the sheep walking the path near the tiny house, and feeding the goats! The deck was lovely for making s’mores and we appreciated having the outdoor fireplace. The layout of the tiny home was really comfortable and cozy. The puppies were a huge highlight of our trip and were absolute sweethearts as well and it was nice to love on them in the communal bunkhouse.

We loved staying at the vineyard! Kim was a wonderful host and everything was as stated in the posting (and I have never seen a cleaner portapottie!). We especially enjoyed the covered patio with the propane fire pit - it was a great place to hang out and look at the lights across the valley and even the snowmaking up at Mission Ridge. 10/10 and we’ll definitely be staying here again.

Weekend Trip to The Khohay Farm
Staying at the Sweetheart Cabin was the PERFECT autumn weekend getaway! It was stormy and rainy outside a lot of the time, but that just made the cozy cabin even better with the wood stove, string lights, candles, and blankets. The cabin as well as communal spaces were clean and everyone was so kind. They said that the number one rule was that we felt at-home :) Thank you so so much Jenel and Khohay, my partner and I had a beautiful time at your farm <3

Staying in Birdy was such a great experience! It’s set up so comfortably & it was very private. The dogs were so sweet (with us & our pup). The town is also a perfect setting for a little day adventure. We would certainly stay here again.

This spot was SO cozy. It’s on a street with a bunch of cute cabins so being in our camper almost felt like a “cabin” weekend. The gazebo was a game changer for fall camping and kept us dry to cook, eat, and sit by the fire under the rain. River sounds were so lovely and the hike Mark recommended (walking distance from the site) was so secluded and wonderful

This was such a charming and cozy site! Right on a creek in a beautiful neighborhood. Great waterfall hike nearby and the town of packwood is close and very fun. The gazebo was excellent as we got a little bit of rain and we were able to stay dry while still enjoying a fire 10/10 would go back!

This site is a private lot tucked in amongst a community of cabins. It’ got a mountain stream in the back, gazebo, chairs, picnic table, fire pit, full hookups , Wi-Fi, and a new gravel pad. I wished we had built in a longer stay. It’s less than a 5-minute drive to an entrance to Mount Rainier National Park.
