Communication with Tyler was quick. He answered my questions promptly. Easy back in. Good map. Easy to find. Pretty property. Dahlias and zinnias were beautiful. Chickens and goats were fun to watch. The site was perfect. Covered with timed Edison lights. Good water pressure. 50 Amp electric. The closest dump station is kanaskat-palmer state park. You can purchase fire wood and eggs. It is close to the skeet shooting range, but the noise was not disruptive. Only heard it briefly. Lots of evidence of elk or deer, but didn't see any.

We stayed two nights at the Airstream Base next to the Skykomish River, and it was a fantastic glamping “off-grid” experience. The site is just a short walk from the river, pet-friendly (perfect for our dachshund), and the hosts were incredibly hospitable. They’ve thought of everything — from a propane grill to all the little comforts that make the stay easy and relaxing. The atmosphere was romantic and close to some beautiful sights. The drive in was stunning, and during our stay we explored the historic wooden Baring Bridge, hiked to Barclay Lake, swam in the Skykomish River, and made s’mores by the campfire. The only downside was some nighttime noise — road traffic, passing trains, and an odd car door closing sound every half hour — but a good pair of earplugs took care of that. Overall, we can’t wait to come back. Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable stay!

This is the perfect spot for a quiet camping getaway. The outdoor area is spacious, covered and has a large fire pit which we enjoyed many times (great for s'mores). The space fit our 28ft RV with room to spare and has electric/water hookups. The property is well taken care of with animal friends all around and the aromas of growing lavender right outside the site. Tyler is very accommodating and answered all our questions promptly. 10/10 would recommend this space. Thank you again!!!

This is a very remote single camping spot with complete privacy, exactly what I was hoping for. The views are spectacular up and down the Columbia River. The directions were well stated (align the gate code at the TOP not the middle). Towards the end the road does get a bit rough and narrow but really no issue for my 24' Sprinter Van, towing a trailer would be challenging but not impossible. I plan to return to this perfect spot.

Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area. We've spent the last 7 years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads. Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry). We offer five listings - a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, retro trailer, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot. Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk). Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy. Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower. Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk). Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis. Masabaje is a clothing optional space. We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Welcome to one of the most magical places in Kittitas County. Here you will be the ONLY campers on this 1 acre site! The spot has a crystal clear 80/gpm well and power for you to use. There is plenty of room for extra tents or parking. The driveway can be challenging if you are new to trailering. There is a turn around for backing up but it is not a pull though. See photos ;) Here you will feel a world away but a 15 minute drive down the mountain and you are in downtown Cle Elum. The property is minutes away from the Yakima River, Hwy 10, I-90 and the Teanaway Forest. Fly fishing, rafting, hiking are all nearby. When the sun goes down get your chair ready. Sunsets are breathtaking and with little light pollution, the star gazing is incredible. This original 24 acre parcel and surrounding area was destroyed by the Taylor Bridge fire in August of 2012. The fire destroyed 61 homes and 36 square miles. Currently, NO FIRES of any kind, as there is a county wide burn ban in place. Well socialized dogs are ALWAYS welcome. The owner has a very friendly Aussie who will most likely manage to open a door and “sneak out” to say hello…. Note, the whole Kittitas Valley can be windy so come prepared just in case. It's an easy and beautiful drive on I-90 all the way, then a short drive to the property. Being on the east side of the Cascades, this campground is almost always sunnier than the city, warmer in the summer, and snowier in the winter. But the riverfront is where the true magic is. Fly fishing and bird watching heaven! Many hours have been spent relaxing in, on, or near the river with friends, family, and dogs. It's always changing, always alive, and that's why we love it. If you need supplies, groceries or a restaurant, the town of Ellensburg is just 13 minutes away, and the fun town of Cle Elum/Suncadia resort with its restaurants and the Swiftwater Winery, is about 22 minutes away. Remote yet connected! Our property amenities include a shared, central fire pit & gazebo/table/chairs for all guests to use. There is a flush toilet available on site (however no shower or laundry access). Our site is intentionally rustic and we can't wait to share it with others who love being outdoors with nature. Please write me with any questions you have. I have a rental cabin (Spring Creek Cabins) in the area too that is closer to Lake Cle Elum. Lots of large groups have reserved multiple or all sites for their large groups and for more privacy. However please keep in mind the place still needs to be cleaned up upon leaving. Private camp area close and easy access to Forest service road 4517 that has ATV, dirt bike and snowmobile trails in amazing Cle Elum's Little Creek and Granite Creek area. Can take ride ORV from campground to Forest road, but no trail riding in campground or surrounding gravel roads. Vehicles must have spark arrestors. Quiet and private for groups to hang out and enjoy the area, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the night sky. We often kayak at Easton State Park or at Cooper Lake and then come back to this private camp area away from the crowds. Huge parking and camping area where 10+ vehicles and RVs can easily drive to and park before heading out on the trail or use as a base camp to enjoy the peaceful mountains around you and explore are area around you. You will enjoy the peaceful hills and unobstructed views of a stary night sky. No electrical or water hookups. This is not a KOA, it's a very private rough campground area with beautiful views. There are no manicured lawns, but lots of rocky areas and often wildlife walking about. Deer and turkeys often are seen and grasshoppers when its warm. Forest Road to campsite often is bumpy with good sized potholes. The internet service via T-Mobile is incredible on 4/18/2024 I was getting the following at the entrance of the camp area: 80 - 181 Mbps Down 5- 10.2 Mbps Up

This 1950s picker's cabin is located in Naches Heights among orchards and vineyards. Cowiche Canyon and hiking trails adjacent. Close to White Pass and the Tieton, Naches and Yakima rivers. The cabin is part of our local agricultural history. It was built by my grandfather to house migrant workers during apple picking season and that is how it was used until the late 1980s. It is not fancy, but it is cozy. Filled with books from local authors (Raymond Carver, Justice William O'Douglas, etc) and on local topics including tribal and labor history. Goats, alpacas, chickens on site. Free range cats. Wineries next door. Brewery closeby. Close to town but peaceful and quiet. Host is a bioregional herbalist and can offer advice for seasonal foraging options. You are likely to see us working in the shop and on the grounds. We will also do our best to give you your privacy.
