You have room to spread out your awning without hitting the next vehicle. Each site has its own picnic table and fire ring. Also if you are in the mood you have a covered kitchen to meet and mingle with other guests. We also have a big screen tv in the kitchen so you don't miss the Seahawks games. Drive in and enjoy a lovely view of unspoiled woods from the deck of your canvas tent. Enter the door into a spacious area with a king or queen size bed and small kitchen area. We are open year round and It is different every season Our guests love staying here "This site has absolutely everything you need. You'll want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, but I think that was the only things I noticed I'd want. They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. Less than an hours drive from Crystal Mountain Resort. Located at the top of Carbon Canyon we have endless trails for hiking, horse riding, and motor sports. Feel free to bring your toys and you can drive right off the property. You will be staying in a rural area next to horses, goats, pigs, chickens. A little about Orting - Nestled in the foothills of Mt Rainier between the Puyallup and Carbon Rivers, Orting is a quaint Turn-of-the-Century village that you will not forget. The town center is anchored by three parks filled with giant maples and evergreens. You will be awed by the view of Mt. Rainier from Washington Avenue. The levees on the east and west sides of town are perfect for hikes along the rivers. The 20 mile Foothills Trail meanders right through the middle of town and then takes you along the Carbon River levee. Bike, walk, take the stroller and the family pet. Enjoy the turn-of-the-century architecture of downtown and eat at one of the 15 restaurants. If your timing is right you can take part in the Daffodil festival and parade the first Saturday of April. The Kingsmen Car show comes to town the third Saturday in June. Then there is the Pumpkin festival the second weekend of October. Finally the year is capped off with the Christmas festival throughout December. Then there are the many foot and bike races that take place on the foothills trail throughout the year. PLEASE NOTE: 24 hour advanced notice on early arrivals mandatory as we work. We will always try to accommodate but cannot guarantee. A little about Orting - Nestled in the foothills of Mt Rainier between the Puyallup and Carbon Rivers, Orting is a quaint Turn-of-the-Century village that you will not forget. The town center is anchored by three parks filled with giant maples and evergreens. You will be awed by the view of Mt. Rainier from Washington Avenue. The levees on the east and west sides of town are perfect for hikes along the rivers. The 20 mile Foothills Trail meanders right through the middle of town and then takes you along the Carbon River levee. Bike, walk, take the stroller and the family pet. Enjoy the turn-of-the-century architecture of downtown and eat at one of the 15 restaurants. If your timing is right you can take part in the Daffodil festival and parade the first Saturday of April. The Kingsmen Car show comes to town the third Saturday in June. Then there is the Pumpkin festival the second weekend of October. Finally the year is capped off with the Christmas festival throughout December. Then there are the many foot and bike races that take place on the foothills trail throughout the year.     We had a nice couple days @ Greenstone. As usual, wish we could have stayed longer. The directions were easy to follow for where to park, how to hook up, etc. The setting is nice- a lot of thought and care was put into planning the layout of the property with the camping area, rv site, fire pit, glamping tent, etc. The add on fresh eggs were nice. We added the wifi service but it was pretty weak. Didn't really impact us though, as, well, we were camping and didn't really need that kind of connection. The site is clean and well maintained. A cup of coffee and the view of the mountains beyond the horses are a nice way to start your mornings. We hope to visit again!

The site was large, immaculate and quiet with a substantial field where we were able to walk our dog and pick salmon berries. We even spied a coyote crossing the property in the morning as we got ready to leave. Very quiet and serene but only a handful of minutes from amenities! The site does slope down some from the outbuilding and we had to use levelers in the front so come prepared. We pull a 25’ trailer. Definitely recommend.

The location is excellent very hard to find driveway so pay attention, but easy access to local cities and highways. The owner does not recommend trailer but we’ve had no problems with our 27 foot trailer Just be sure that you have a little experience backing in and you will be just fine.

    I didn’t know exactly where it was located until we arrived and was really happy with the location being centrally located between oak harbor and Anacortes, we discovered the ALA spit just down the road from the site, it’s a beach with very few people, we went for walks there almost every morning. Mark and Kimberly were really nice (kids to us). Clean and easy to find and get hooked up. Loved it

    Green Apple Alpaca's was a charming place to tent camp! The hosts were responsive and helpful. It rained while we were there, but we were prepared with a canopy, and we spent a lovely evening tucked away by the propane fire, watching a bald eagle hunt the fields below. We ordered alpaca food as an extra, and my daughter had a wonderful time feeding the alpacas and sheep. Thank you for a great stay!
