Cozy Acres

Cute and cozy tiny home getaway on beautiful Whidbey Island, perfect for a single person or a couple. Relax or work in this peaceful spot located on our 5-acre homestead with chickens and beautiful gardens. 

Just minutes from the ferry and within walking distance to several miles of free hiking trails, this property is a 10-minute drive to several beaches and the lovely seaside village of Langley. Hang out in the quietness of the woods or explore the island's hot spots, including wineries, breweries, and great restaurants. 

The tiny home features a composting toilet in the outhouse, and hot water is available both inside and in the outdoor shower.

A solo stove fire pit can be used even during fire bans.

Walk around our property and visit the chickens and explore the gardens

The outdoor shower is room and private and just steps away.

Enjoy an evening around the fire.  2 outside chairs and picnic table provided.

Hood Canal Tiny Home

Tiny home tucked away in the trees on just over a half acre, features a full bath, vaulted ceilings, and a sleeping loft as well as a futon pull out couch.  Couch is suited for a smaller person or child. Bring your sleeping pads, sleeping bags, blankets and pillows and sleep inside, or pitch a tent outside under the stars.  Sit around the outdoor firepit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings while you read a book or roast a marshmallow. You will be minutes away from Hamma Hamma Oyster Saloon as well as Lake Cushman, Rocky Brook Falls, Dosewallips and Duckabush River.  Lots of places to explore nearby.

Bring air mattress/sleeping pad, sleeping bag, pillows, and blankets!

Kitchen area.  Fridge/Freezer, microwave, coffee pot, and ice maker.  No stove/oven.

Full bathroom with shower and bathtub.  Bring towels.  TP & hand soap provided ;)

The Landing at Index WA

Welcome to The Landing at Index - located on the South Fork Skykomish River, in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains, off of Highway 2. With 16 acres of beautiful, private woods and breathtaking views of Mt. Index, this is a wonderful getaway to kick back and relax after your day of adventures, or just to escape the city rush. The campsite is at the bottom of a rugged drive so an SUV or AWD vehicle are recommended, especially during the wetter seasons of Spring and Fall. When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy lagoon along the beach. The Department of Fish and Game have a fish ladder at Sunset Falls just upstream and BNSF railroad owns the large vacant tract down stream.A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing.Pets are welcome, there is a toilet on site campfires allowed (when burn bans are not in place).

We spent so much time at this private sandy beach. Just a short path from Site 2!

Being able to pitch your tent in so many spots was an awesome advantage of staying on 16 private acres!

If you pitch your tent down on the landing you can see the sunset looking north over a mellow eddy in the river.

The Landing is our top choice for campgrounds in Western Washington, and we love both sites!

Bright, open, and overflowing with greenery. David has done so much work on Site 2 and it shows!

It was super nice to have the option of this fireplace with a grill to cook on, in addition to the stone fire pit.

We couldn't get enough of the swimming hole at the Landing!

Seven Lakes Campground

A private lake front camp site nestled in the 7 Lakes area.  Swimming, fishing, and boating off your shore line.  Don't forget to make use of the fire pit on your visit.  Far enough out to feel like an escape, but not far for a quick over night stay.  Whether your bringing your RV or trailer, or just pitching a tent, your sure to enjoy your stay.

Welcome to Seven Lakes Campground.  Private, lake front campsite sits on the first of the Seven Lakes. 50 amp power hook up(as well as standard outlet) and water hook up are waiting for your trailer or RV. No shower facilities on site, how ever there is a port-a potty. Camp sure sits on a shy half acre in quiet Lake Loma. Bring your non power boat (electric trolling motors ok) , kayak, canoe, paddle board, or paddle boat, and launch from your camp site into the peaceful lake. Enjoy fishing, swimming, or just a quiet ride in the lake. Camp site includes new floating dock, as well as a fire pit.

Happy Little Farm

Twelve years ago, Shelley and Casey moved back to the beautiful Skagit Valley farm Shelley grew up on.   Her family has farmed in the valley for five generations.  Casey had studied permaculture in the San Juan Islands and they immediately began planting edible and useful plants throughout the property.  They started a small Community Supported Agriculture program growing vegetables and fruit for several families.  The property has evolved over time to include several living willow structures and a wonderful collection of unusual fruits creating what they hope is the feeling of a Wonderland.

New Van Camping Site in 2023:  We have a new gravel pad van site next to an 18 acre farm field with a wonderful sunset view.   We do not allow fires at the site.  But you would be welcome to have a campfire in our firepit a short walk from your van site.  Please note, we are not currently offering firewood.  But it is available at the Shell station less than 5 minutes from our farm.

Tent Site:  Pitch your tent in a private corner of our little organic farm in the beautiful Skagit Valley.  You will be surrounded by gorgeous edible landscaping and a stunning view of Mount Baker.  Take a stroll through our gardens, graze on some fruit in season.  A 10 minute walk or quick bike ride to the Skagit River offering great swimming in the warmer months.

Our farm is surrounded by many flat scenic farm roads very popular for cyclists and photographers.  There are two restaurants and several antique shops less than a mile away in the cute little town of Conway.  The Conway Muse is a funky music venue and restaurant hosting great live music on weekends throughout the year.

Feel free to pick organic fruits, vegetables and nuts to enjoy at your campsite or take home by donation.

Dragos Farm

My young family and I recently bought the hobby farm of our dreams and would like to share it! A natural stream pops right out of the hill and feeds our duck/trout pond. Goats chickens and our horse named Summer roam the property and are friendly, especially with treats in hand!Learn more about this land:Multiple areas to pitch a tent around our pond, pasture, hay field, down by the pond itself, or up with a view at the very top of the farm. We've got Chickens, Ducks, Angora and Nigora goats, an Arabian horse named Summer, and a minihorse names Pie... all roaming different parts of the property. Make yourself at home on the farm and enjoy the setting without the work!

The Cedar River Retreat

The Cedar River Retreat is its own little oasis. Located past an old fisherman's community along the river, close to shopping and stores but tucked away from it all just enough to reconnect with nature. This plot was purchased in 2016 and we hope you have a great time creating memories like we have over the last few years. We currently have an off-grid cabin, RV site and a tent camping only site.
