As there are NO bathroom facilities on the property, tents MUST be in conjunction with an RV that has an indoor toilet/shower (no outdoor showering). NO TENT ONLY camping.

Pleasant Places campground is clean, quiet, spacious, and private with lots of nooks for R&R, as well as ample space for play and activities. It is an ideal location for large groups and in order to keep the campground as a single site, larger groups are given preference. Birdsong comes early here, and crickets and frogs light up the evenings. No city lights, so stargazing is a real delight. Centrally located and with 10 acres of field, forest, and farm, there is something of interest for everyone.
In camp, you will find a rustic kitchen, three picnic tables, and a fire pit with accessories. There is a resource area near the house with an electrical outlet and a Flexzilla water hose, so bring containers. We have nice firewood bundles as well as fresh eggs for sale, and lawn games, hammocks, etc. are available for rent.
Unfortunately, we will not have goats this year, but you are welcome to hang out with the chickens and ducks-who will eat out of your hands. The local fauna include deer, skunk, coyote, rabbit, weasel, and possum. Bear and cat are not common, but please do be conscientious about leaving food out and keep the lid on the compost.
While there isn't water on the property, Mayfield, Ike Kinswa, and Riffe lakes are all 20-30 minutes from here and provide lots of boating, swimming, and fishing opportunities. Carlisle Lake in Ony offers walking trails, outdoor exercise equipment, fishing, summer concerts, and a playground, and is just a five-minute drive from camp. We are midway between Portland and Seattle and just 15 minutes off of I-5 making Pleasant Places a perfect meet-in-the-middle location. Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, the East Side, and the Pacific Coast are all day trips, just an hour or two from here.

Pleasant Places campground is clean, quiet, spacious, and private with lots of nooks for R&R, as well as ample space for play and activities. It is an ideal location for large groups and in order to keep the campground as a single site, larger groups are given preference. Birdsong comes early here, and crickets and frogs light up the evenings. No city lights, so stargazing is a real delight. Centrally located and with 10 acres of field, forest, and farm, there is something of interest for everyone.
In camp, you will find a rustic kitchen, three picnic tables, and a fire pit with accessories. There is a resource area near the house with an electrical outlet and a Flexzilla water hose, so bring containers. We have nice firewood bundles as well as fresh eggs for sale, and lawn games, hammocks, etc. are available for rent.
Unfortunately, we will not have goats this year, but you are welcome to hang out with the chickens and ducks-who will eat out of your hands. The local fauna include deer, skunk, coyote, rabbit, weasel, and possum. Bear and cat are not common, but please do be conscientious about leaving food out and keep the lid on the compost.
While there isn't water on the property, Mayfield, Ike Kinswa, and Riffe lakes are all 20-30 minutes from here and provide lots of boating, swimming, and fishing opportunities. Carlisle Lake in Ony offers walking trails, outdoor exercise equipment, fishing, summer concerts, and a playground, and is just a five-minute drive from camp. We are midway between Portland and Seattle and just 15 minutes off of I-5 making Pleasant Places a perfect meet-in-the-middle location. Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, the East Side, and the Pacific Coast are all day trips, just an hour or two from here.

This location is only a mile away from the Mount Rainier National Park entrance. There is usually traffic going towards the National Park on weekends during peak season (July-August), so we encourage everyone to leave the site by 9 am during those days if you are planning on heading into the park. This cabin is peaceful. It had everything we needed for comfort. It is maintained with thoughtfulness. The cabin is clean and stocked with supplies making it easy to care for while there. The weather was very cold (26 to 38 degrees) as expected and we stayed toasty,
The roads are well maintained and the mountain spectacular.
We will come back when we can spend more time outside enjoying the grounds and exploring.
This was a fabulous place to retreat and spend time with friends.
Our dog was so happy, she is part husky and was in her element outside. She loved it. We all did.

Weekend Trip to Rainier Explorer|MRNP|Ski|Hottub
We loved staying at the Rainier Explorer cabin! Overall we found the cabin to be comfortable, warm, and have all of the amenities we could need. I would highly recommend it to a friend who wanted to visit Mt. Rainier National Park, Packwood, or go ski White Pass.
The cabin was well stocked and clean. The heater and electric fireplace kept use perfectly warm over the cold winter nights. The queen bed in the primary bedroom was really comfortable. The hot tub is just what we needed after a long day skiing.
The cabin is a 5 min drive from Packwood, WA where you can find all you need to stock up for your stay and recover after a long hike/ski.

Great spot! Lots of room. Full hookups! Our 32 ft trailer got in and out just fine but I wouldnt try to pull in in the dark! Get there early!! Great cell service with Tmobile. Blazing mobile data speeds.
We stayed here to ski at White pass which is about 20 mins away. Just far enough to get out of the freezing weather with the trailer.

This was our second time staying at Steve and Starla’s campsite! The property is spacious and well kept, also close to the Mt. Rainier park entrance. Although the weather this time was not ideal, our group had a great time during our trip. Thank you to Steve for suggesting site 2 which is a little higher ground and surrounded by trees to keep us a little drier during our stay. The hosts were able to answer any questions we had in a timely manner. Overall I would highly recommend this campsite. Thank you again for hosting us and wish you well in the future!

Weekend Trip to Airstream Glamping 1
This was the perfect option for my husband and I’s cozy weekend staycation. Clear instructions/directions, host was quick to respond, and thoughtful amenities. We loved having the option to cook our own food using the outdoor kitchen. We would have loved to take advantage of more out there but it was pouring down rain. Close enough to local eateries that we were able to grab breakfast on Saturday morning while we were feeling lazy (highly recommend The Kettle in Enumclaw!)
It was a fun experience to stay in an airstream style camper. We would visit again in the future.

Beautiful, well thought out, and clean space that had everything one needs to create beautiful memories with friends and families. The whole property is gorgeous with stunning views. The fire pit was so lovely especially on a rainy day, and so nice to have items provided for smores as well. Loads of cards and board games. Would stay here again and recommend 10/10!

This was an absolutely wonderful place to camp with dogs. We had six dogs among three people and had such a wonderful time on this property! The dogs were safe and entertained and had plenty of space to run and explore and play. We were able to go and enjoy the visiting goats and the ducks and the chickens. Sarah and her partner were super wonderful and welcoming, and we had a great time renting some of the games they had available.

We had the best time at Summers Pleasant places! Three of us and six dogs, the mostly fenced in property and being away from the road created such a relaxing and stress-free few days. This was such a convenient location, close to convenience stores but having the whole back area of the property felt very private. We didn’t mind the farm animal noises or the other regular rural sounds. It didn’t bother us at all. Visiting with the chickens, and goats was definitely a highlight as well. The kitchen sink and counter space was incredibly helpful and well designed! It was so nice to not have to bring all of that extra gear. We loved being about to have a fire to cook over and cozy up to at night. Summer was very communicative and hospitable, answering all of our questions and accommodating us at her place on such short notice. We can’t wait to come back so the dogs can run free in the field again!
