We loved staying at the Rainier Explorer cabin! Overall we found the cabin to be comfortable, warm, and have all of the amenities we could need. I would highly recommend it to a friend who wanted to visit Mt. Rainier National Park, Packwood, or go ski White Pass.
The cabin was well stocked and clean. The heater and electric fireplace kept use perfectly warm over the cold winter nights. The queen bed in the primary bedroom was really comfortable. The hot tub is just what we needed after a long day skiing.
The cabin is a 5 min drive from Packwood, WA where you can find all you need to stock up for your stay and recover after a long hike/ski.

Beautiful place to stay! The backyard is so so special and the house itself was very comfortable and cozy. The hosts were great, I had a bit of a special request and they were so kind and flexible! They left some treats for us and even grabbed a little vegan treat for me:) the outdoor tubs were absolutely incredible!! I would absolutely love to stay here again!

This is the perfect little cabin base camp to relax between hikes at Mt Rainier! Cabin #2 has a great loft for sleeping and conveniently has a hot tub on the front deck. The cabins are stocked with great amenities like a cast iron, hot plates, and a kettle, plus a fire pit outside. You’re also a quick drive to a couple of solid restaurants.

Weekend Trip to The Village at Rainier
We stayed here last summer and loved it just as much! The location is perfect- very quiet and well kept. Rainier can be so challenging in the summer and staying in Ashford gave us an easy, well rested early start. Seriously- we entered the park a little after 7am and the lot at Paradise was almost full. Getting up on the trails with less crowds and before the heat of the day is a game changer.
We love the cabin and the hot tub. Stay here— you won’t regret it!

The Beaver cabin was adorable, clean, simple and just what we needed! My ten year old was delighted by the loft beds, I loved the swing and the hot tub and fire pit made the place far more than just a place to sleep for the night. The beautiful artistic touches around the property were lovely too, and Janet was very responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved our stay! We were in the Raven Cabin, which is tucked towards the back of the property. Every cabin seemed secluded from the next – we stayed overnight two nights and didn't come across any other guests, despite no vacancies. The property itself is kept very nicely, and relaxing in the hot tub pre- and post-hike was splendid. Less than two miles from the park entrance! We're already talking about staying again!

This little cabin was adorable! It was exactly what my friends and I needed for our trip- a warm place to rest after a long day in the National Park. The hot tub was a dream after a long day of hiking! It’s also close to a couple good restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream.
