This cozy RV campsite was previously used to store our Airstream as a spare guest house which we no longer own. It comes with sewer hookup, city water, 30 amp outlet. Guests have full access to use the private concrete boat ramp to launch a canoe/kayak for a quiet cruise on the river, or use the private fire pit sitting area. Pets are OK!

I was having trouble finding a campground in the area, then I remembered to check Hipcamp—and I struck gold. I found Kyle’s RV spot, located in a quiet residential neighborhood with plenty of space and great accommodations. It has a private entry and exit, and it’s conveniently close to shopping and the freeway. Kyle was extremely helpful and a great host. A+ experience—definitely check him out. I’ll absolutely be back.

Highly recommend staying at Thornton Farm! It is clear that Marvin loves his land and his guests. The sites are nice with fire pits and picnic tables and the bathroom with shower and sink awesome. Super quiet. Falling asleep to the owl calls was fantastic.

My wife and I loved our stay. The host was very hospitable and very accommodating. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and shown a well detailed tour of the property. The property was very well maintained and visually appealing. We were provided a wheel barrel full of fire logs and use of wheel rim for a camp fire (10$ when booked). The views for sunset and sunrise were stunning. We had total peace and quiet during our stay. We will be back in the spring to try our hand at fishing off the dock. Perfection.

Susan was quick to respond for confirming the booking. This was my second stay at Peace Hill and I had a wonderful time. I stayed at Site 3 and it is very flat and close to the Lafayette Hall where there are bathrooms with showers and a kitchen. The site faces the owners main house and horse ring. If you want more privacy, pick the sites on the other side of the Lafayette Hall. I loved walking the property and visiting the farm animals!

Peace Hill is a beautiful working farm which provided plenty of level space to camp. There is plenty of room to load and unload tow vehicles. The generous permission to use the community center kitchen and bath were outstanding perks. For bicycle enthusiasts, its proximity to the Capital Bike Trail Charles City Parking area was a bonus. For tourists, it is close to Jamestown and Williamsburg. I loved watching the exercising of the horses. The friendly waves of those feeding the farm animals made me feel welcome. Susan was very accommodating when I had to leave early due to snow. I will definitely revisit this site when in the area.
FYI: I found it best to put Peace Hill Fellowship in when goggling directions so I wouldn't end up at the Bed & Breakfast.

Roderick was super kind. He let me move to the spot with the best morning sunrise view, made sure I knew where the fire pit was and left the light on in the outside portal potty.
