Levi was great. Met us as we were setting up and gave us a lot of options since it was raining. Good hiking around and breweries and wineries around that were dog friendly. Off leash for the pups was awesome! Definitely coming back!

Weekend Trip to The Bluffs at Cedar Creek

We loved camping at The Bluffs at Cedar Creek. Levi’s land is stunning and Levi was awesome! Very friendly, personable, helpful, and was kind enough to show us to a slightly more secluded spot so our dogs could run freely in and out of the creek. The land is well maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed walking the property with our dogs and exploring the creek. It was a huge plus having extra water supply and large trash can on the way out of the location. We were so happy to find that Levi had some bundles of firewood for sale at the entrance as well. I would recommend Levi’s place to anyone! We’ve already planned on returning here!

Weekend Trip to Happy Heart Highlands and Alpacas

We loved our night on Kimberly’s land! We have a small campervan and so were able to stay at her Peaceful Pond site, which lived up to its name. The working farm can be seen from the site, but is far enough away to offer the privacy we wanted. It was also nice to have the option of using Kimberly’s clean portapotty. We’d love to return!

Curtis is an amazing host, gave us a very warming welcoming & replied within a reasonable time both times I had a question. The farm looks beautiful, we only stayed for a night & had to leave early so we did not had enough time to explore the place but waking up to the birds chirping, the cows mooing & no cars noise was such a refreshing morning. I highly recommend buying steaks or ribs from him. Meat tastes amazing (everyone loved it), we had to order twice to bring some home. On the side note, make sure to ask them to defrost the meat if you plan on cooking it there. Will definitely go back sometime soon. Other reviews were not wrong about the cleanest pit toilet I’ve seen when camping.

Beautiful 360 degree view at site #1. well kept campsite and grounds. Convenient to Frederick and New Market. Ran into friendly owner while walking dogs, he pointed out how you could see Big roundtop and little roundtop at Gettysburg in the distance which was really cool.

Levi’s land was beautiful and an unexpected gem in our travels. We were met at our site and he kindly led us to one a bit farther away to a more private site. The rushing creek was beautiful and my husband and Levi saw an eagle pull a trout right out of the water, in flight. It’s a popular place to fish, play in the pond and enjoy nature. Also very clean and landscaped with flowers. A great place to stay!

My stay has been amazing. Susane and Bob are very welcoming and kind. Learning how to feed the goats, chickens, alpaca, and donkey is interesting and fun. All of the animals are fed well and cared for. The work makes the day go by fast and there is something to do everyday to keep things interesting. It has been a pleasure to experience what working on a goat farm is all about. I definitely recommend staying.

This was a great campsite. Directions were clear, easy to follow, and completely honest! Hearing wild turkeys was a blast! Thanks for an awesome campsite. Ps. The drive to get to the campsite is a bit rugged. Prepare well if it rains, I did however do just fine with my Toyota Corolla. If someone had bad tires or deeper mud things could get tricky. The mechanic in me I guess...Thankfully I was gone before the next rain fall. #BeautifulSunrise

14 nights at Cross Creek Farm

Rodney was an amazing and accommodating host. He went above and beyond to help us get settled and troubleshoot our RV issues. Had lots of fire wood ready and available for use. Can't say enough good things about the man and what he did for us. He has a beautiful farm with some amazing working dogs. If you want somewhere chill to stay then this is the place to go. Super friendly and a great area to stay.

Keith's family farm is gorgeous and exactly as described. He was a welcoming and pleasant host. We felt safe and comfortable at the site. Hookups were appreciated and functioning well. The heated and plumbed barn bathroom was splendid in the cold freeze of night. Their horses were majestic and a great sight to wake up to. Location was great and well described for a calm arrival. There may be farm dogs off leash roaming the site - they are kind but dominant. Best to avoid contact (with or without leash) if you have your own dog or cat. We would happily stay again.

The campground is situated in the wooded area on the back of 27 acre horse farm which is known as "The Stables at Mezza Luna." There is Wi-Fi to all the sites. Every year in the spring there are 4-6 Thoroughbred foals born that eventually will become racehorses. They live on the farm until they are 2 years old and then they go off to begin their racing career. In the daytime, when you are not sitting around your campfire, you can walk the fence lines and visit with the Mares and Foals or just watch them frolic in the fields. Hint! "They love peppermints, carrots and apples." Who knows, you might get to meet a future Kentucky Derby winner. Nearby attractions include: BLACK HILLS REGIONAL PARK (15 minutes) for boating, hiking or biking Vineyard 61 (5 minutes) Stone Silo Brewery (5 Minutes) Leechwood Haunted Forest (5 Minutes) October weekends only There are also chickens and peacocks that are very anxious to receive your love and affection with any type of treat such as raisins. There also is a playground with swings, monkey bars, seesaw and trampoline. There is a dumpster in front of the barn for you to place your trash. Please drop off during your stay or on your way out of the property. Don't miss out out on this hidden gem just minutes from our nation's capital.

Cedar Creek me Anders through the center of this property it is absolutely gorgeous a 4 mile trail lead you to the other end of the property and back around. We are very close to quite a few farmers markets, wineries, breweries, and even a distillery in the valley. There is an awesome hike, 2 miles down the road known as Eagle rock with a sprawling view back towards the east, which is absolutely stunning.!!

Antique shopping abounds in the nearby charming, little town of New Market. So you're hungry and have a hankering for local cuisine? Peaceful camping with privacy on a 160-acre historic farm! Minutes from Harpers Ferry, Antietam Battlefield and the C&O Canal to name a few. We are within an hour of Gettysburg and within an hour and a half of DC if you're planning a day trip. We have a prime central location with close access to so many things to do. This beautiful property is nestled in a narrow valley between Elk Ridge and South Mountain with incredible sunrises, sunsets and starlit night skies. Walk out to the fishing pond, or follow the trails around the pastures to meet the cattle grazing in our pastures. We have Scottish Highlands and Black Angus grazing as well as Alpacas. We also have beautiful peacocks on the property. We are a working farm so expect to see tractors and you may even see us baling hay or tending to the cattle. You may smell some animal smells which we work at keeping to a minimum but again, we are a working farm. It’s a true farm experience. Also, please keep in mind that during warm weather you may encounter some bugs. Gnats and flies are always a possibility and of course at times they can be worse than others. That can always be a possibility when camping or being outdoors. Bring bug spray, citronella and anything else to help with insects. If you stay by the pond you may hear frogs which personally I enjoy hearing but some may not. Consider bringing a generator and run a fan if you think the sound might bother you or some way to block sounds. We enjoy talking to our guests so feel free to stop us for a chat. At the RV sites you have 30 and 50 amp power as well as water. All the water spickets are potable and drinkable.
