We absolutely loved this property! Beautiful views, very quiet, CLEAN and peaceful there is a gorgeous lake a short walk from camp site 1. Juan has beautiful horses on his property and they are so peaceful to watch. Water and electric hook up worked great, and our class A fit great and site was level. This location is about 1 mile off the main road we easily navigated down the dirt compacted/gravel road no issues. Again extremely quiet, just nature. Just 14 minutes to downtown Culpeper, charming downtown area, lots of shops, and diners. Walmart, Target, Martins, Lidl, and Lowes are just a few more minutes down the road. Can not recommend this camp enough, you will not be disappointed!

We loved camping at the Harmon Homestead! Extremely quiet and relaxing. Friendly hosts that go the extra mile to make your stay amazing. When you go ask to meet the animals. They have goats, pigs, chickens, emu, and the friendliest pup who may come to say hello. Highly recommended.

The campsites were nicely cleared and pretty flat. Nice firepit with wood available for purchase. We were able to find most of our wood so no need to use that. There is a small creek behind the camp that was nice. There is a single porta potty that was walkable and clean. Overall good stay!

The direction to get to the camp spots were very clear, we were easily able to find them even in the dark. The site was beautiful and was filled with sounds of nature all around. We had a great time, definitely recommend!

This place is amazing. Scenery of this place is great its like you have a whole lake by yourself. The place is private as the other sites are far enough from you. Place is flat so no issues with placing your tent. I suggest bringing a fishing rod and bait. Will definitely coming back. Highly suggested: YOU MUST READ Mr. Juan's direction in the site to avoid being lost.

Great site with rv hookups and a dump station on the way out. Our three large dogs loved walking to the lake. Paths are well signed and Juan was an excellent host. We jumped a few deer out of the corn on our walks. Lots of horses, cows and other dogs in the area add to the atmosphere.

directions were a little tricky. I would definitely first go to the Lloyd’s address and not click on the directions within the app when driving there. My best recommendation would be to go to the Lloyds address using GPS, then once you get there, use Google maps from the location within the app and use satellite mode to navigate.
navigating for me was also made a little bit more challenging as I was towing a trailer. If I wasn’t, it would’ve been no issue doubling back.
we had a lovely time with a cool, crisp October evening and morning, quickly warming up to an enjoyable day. Also caught my personal best bass in the little farm pond on a drop shot.

Rocky Run farm was a great camping spot! Access was easy, there was signage and very clear directions. There were many open campsites to choose from, all were very well set up, mowed, and little solar lights around the driveway and each site were helpful because we arrived after dark.
Land was calm and beautiful. Thank you for having us!

You gave Just the right amount of space for us to navigate through our remote work activities and you even had a campfire burning for us upon our arrival. Tom is a chill and excellent guy which shows thru in the curated campsite he runs. It's well maintained, comfortable and he's totally willing to help with things you may need, but at the same time if you're a free range camper and good on your own you'll enjoy the peace and comfort there all the same.

The setting is lovely. Beautiful spot. Water and electric hook ups. Dump station on the way out. Fire pit. Complimentary adirondack chairs were a nice touch. No light pollution - the stars were bright and beautiful! We were able to walk the property and take in the beautiful lake views and wildlife. Juan was very responsive and so kind. It’s close to Culpeper and at the base of the mountains. The proximity to so many amazing activities was great. We truly enjoyed our time and look forward to returning. Thank you to Juan and his family for sharing their beautiful space with us for a few days!

My friends and I had a lovely time camping at Rocky Run over Labor Day weekend. The field was spacious and private, with significant distance to the other plots. A running creek and camp fire provided the perfect backdrop to look at the stars. Day trips to Shenandoah National Park for waterfall hikes and Skyline Drive made for a perfect weekend.

We hosted a 7-person retreat here and it was absolutely magical. The property feels like a sanctuary—hammocks by the waterfall, butterflies everywhere, and plenty of space to do powerful, grounding work in nature. A short hike up the falls is well worth it, and you can even catch glimpses of Crabtree Falls from part of the land.
It’s also easy to slip away to quiet spots along the Tye River for peaceful reflection. The lack of cell service turned out to be a gift, allowing everyone to be fully present and unplugged.
We can’t wait to come back and see how the space continues to grow after construction—it’s already such a special place. Highly recommend for anyone seeking rest, connection, or a nature-based retreat!
