Our property was a small family farm for several generations. Our family purchased the property about 18 years ago. Since we are not farmers but love living here, the question became "What would be the best use for the land?" Living in a scenic area and already being in the vacation rental business on some other family property answered the question. We decided to share the beautiful view and seclusion of our area with others. Our goal was to keep the cost of building down so that we could pass on the savings to you so that you would not have to be rich to enjoy our lovely area. This inspired the idea of a glamping cabin. The cabin is actually a repurposed office building that was built about the time this property was purchased by our family. We moved it to the present location and completely remodelled it in 2018 and added the bathroom. For 4 years, guests enjoyed an off-the-grid experience. In 2023, when we began work on the glamping dome (stay tuned--coming soon!!), we decided to add electricity, running water, and a hot tub to the tiny house! 1 night at Brooklyn Heights Riverfront Camp

We had a lovely stay! Our cabin area was tidy and very peaceful with the lull of the river in the background. We enjoyed walking to the bridge down the road and exploring the local trails and riverfront. Ample camping amenities: coffee/tea/drinks/wifi available near the office area, plenty of wood/fire starter for those who needed some, and the port a potty was clean. Pro tip: bring your own potable water or a filter. There is plenty of fresh water available, but it's not potable. Vincent was an incredibly accommodating and personable host and you can tell how hard he and his crew work to keep the site in tip-top shape!

We loved glamping here! The site and the outhouse were clean! Amber checked on us twice. They had milk and cheese for sale, unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to rush out the last morni g and did not get to purchase any! The water was blue and refreshing! The kids had an absolute blast in the water, even with the storms rolling through occasionally

Weekend Trip to B and M Journey Farm

Brittany and Mike are two of the kindest, most thoughtful, fun people we've met. A true joy to spend the weekend on their property with family and friend for our camp wedding. It was the most perfect setting and the most perfect weekend we could have imagined. The barn is out of a storybook, natural, lovely, and it was perfect for us to use to eat meals, dance the night away, and for a couple family member to sleep in. It kept us dry from the rain and had everything we needed. The cottage is beautifully renovated and the cutest place to stay full of everything you need - coffee, AC, a bathtub. It was the perfect getaway our second night staying after we camped in a tent the first night. Their land is stunning sitting up high with a beautiful view of the mountains and the vineyard. The greenhouse that sits on their property is such a unique and awesome place to relax in the mornings with a view of the mountains and the land. The animals are another awesome touch - everyone in our crew absolutely loved hanging out with the goats, cows, and puppies and it made for an unforgettable, lovely weekend. The property is so big with such wonderful camping spots, and we will absolutely be back! Thank you Brittany and Mike for allowing us to have our wedding here without any hesitation. We couldn't have dreamed up a better weekend. We are already looking forward to coming back to the cottage for our anniversary!

If you are debating booking this site, do it. We just spent two days at the waterfront cabin and this has been the most memorable trip. My son and I hail from Chicago and decided to make a detour to this spot on the way to see family in Baltimore. We had such an incredible time on the water and experiencing the beauty of this family’s farm. They were so helpful and accommodating, even lending us fans because we forgot ours at home. I got to spend a lot of time talking to Amber’s husband about their farm and their garden, and they even sent us home with some fresh veggies. Don’t skip out on the farm stand - we bought a lot of creams that Amber made as well as fresh milk and eggs. Waking up to cows at our window was a bonus. Thank you again for a trip my son will never forget!!

The Waterfront Cabin was the perfect place to camp! Gorgeous view and easy access to a clear blue lake. The cabin was stocked with clean linens, towels, lots of pillows, and other thoughtful items like solar lights, tiki torches, a pop tent that we placed over the picnic table, cornhole boards, cooking equipment, a propane grill, fire pit, and tubes for use in the lake. We loved walking the grounds to see the beauty hidden within this working farm and loved waking up to the cows munching outside the cabin and letting us pet them! Looking forward to returning again!

Stayed in the orange cabin and it was great. Cabin was clean. The views are great and everything they advertised was true. Mt bike trails were well maintained. This was my second time visiting the farm because of my kid being in a camp. Last year I stayed in a tent. For this year, the cabin was a wonderful upgrade. If you are looking for a clean off grid cabin in the heart of great mt biking, this is a great option.

We had an amazing time staying in the lakeside cabin. As others have mentioned, this is the perfect place to unplug and spend some restorative time with nature. The lake was clean and so blue. Our 7 and 12 year old boys loved the floating trampoline and the herd of cows that paid us a visit. We bought fresh eggs, cheese, and milk from the farm. The owners are amazing and very hospitable. Our family will be back for sure!

This is one of my top 3 Hipcamp stays, ever. A true break surrounded by nature. And the aquamarine natural spring-fed lake!!! The only time I’ve been near water THAT clean, clear- was at Glacier National Park. This place is a treasure. I am already planning my return. Thank you!!!

Weekend Trip to Indian Camp Lane

The tiny cottage by the wood line on the back of this huge property is private, quiet and delivered an enjoyable rustic feel for us. Billy (the dog) literally guided our car all the way back to the rental. The host was amazing and responds promptly to any questions or concerns. The large fire pit was a great place for roasting hotdogs and s'mores. 10/10 would enjoy a return visit for a quiet, secluded rest.

Wow what an experience. Ed and family really have the place set up well. The land is well kept where necessary but left wild everywhere else. We spent hours in the pond swimming and fishing as well. My 8 and 10 year old loved the place and explored it with curiosity. Thank you for letting us share your slice of "almost heaven". We will be back again. And to the fellow hipcamper. If youre on the fence for any reason. I suggest you get off that fence and book this place. You won't regret it.

Weekend Trip to MountainTop

I spent a few days here with my son and it was wonderful! The cabin is great, and has everything you need. The deck facing one of the ponds is wonderful and a great place to sit and hear the fish jumping out of the water, the frogs, and birds. The river is fun and was one of our favorite spots. My son looked and found lots of salamanders, snails, and fish.
