Harold's View Farm now camping. There are 4 entrances to the 80 acres of hay fields, now camping sites. Three entrances are for two sites each, the house entrance is for any questions. Please stop in if you have questions.
The fields have been maintained to some degree until 2019 when Lee came up with the idea of primitive camping. The land turns out to be ideal because each site makes you feel like the only campers there.

Bridgeview Harbour Marina is a family owned and operated full service marina, event space, and camping area on the Adirondack shore of Lake Champlain.
Established in 2020 the Marina provides seasonal and overnight slips and moorings to boaters, fisherman, and lake-goers, three camp sites, and an on-site cafe.
Marina services are available May thru October each year, with other events and services available throughout the year.
The marina is set on 33 acres along Lake Champlain and hosts ~4150 feet of lake-frontage, it is accessible via car, boat, or via the adjacent Amtrak rail line.
Prior to becoming a marina in 1989, the property was home to a very large Iron Foundry, rail yard, and barge-loading operation known as Cedar Point. Cedar point, part of the larger Witherbee-Sherman Mining Company, operated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries smelting iron ore to be shipped throughout the world via the Lake Champlain Canal and Hudson River, and is credited with providing iron to some of America's leading projects at the time. Some remains of the sites industrious past can be observed throughout the property.
From Father's Day to Labor Day, the Marina hosts the Port Henry Waterfront Farmers' Market every Friday between 5PM and 8PM. The Market features farms, makers, artists, food trucks and Live Music every week

We are located on the Green Mountain Gravel Growler bike packing trail and 7 miles south of the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. We have lots of hiking , biking, boating and swimming opportunities nearby. Our amenity's include a bath house with two flush toilets and a hot shower. We also have a washer and dryer available for our campers. We cater to small quiet groups who can enjoy our peaceful setting. If your are bike packing and our sites are booked just text or stop in we will accommodate you.
The campground is located along our town road and the sites are 50 - 100 feet apart along our driveway. This is not a wilderness experience you will have neighbors, including us
We are a family friendly, non smoking campground. We are open early May till late October. Pets on leashes are OK. Quiet time is all the time :~). 12 and under free, no Generators.

The property is about 10 minutes to all of the bars, restaurants and cafes on Killington road. Approximately 10 minutes to Pico Mountain, 20 minutes to Okemo Mountain and 15 minutes to Woodstock. Long Trail Brewery is 5 minutes down the road. Snowmobile/ATV Vermont is a 1/2 mile away for guided tours. First Stop Board Barn is 1 minute down the street for ski, snowboard and snowshoe rentals in the winter and bikes, kayaks and paddle boards in the summer. Our property is nestled in the foothills of the Mad River Valley, close to the headwaters of the river. The property is composed of wetlands, agricultural meadows, old apple trees, and hardwood forest with 700 feet of elevation. All structures on the property are solar-powered and a rainwater system feeds the sink in the outdoor kitchen. There are a handful of individual camp sites available in the spring, summer and fall, as well as a communal outdoor kitchen with lighting, a fire pit, a stone pizza oven and a sitting/yoga deck. We also offer more of a "glamping" experience in our 14 ft yurt, which comfortably sleeps 2-3 people with wood stove heat and a solar battery for lighting. We love sharing this space with others and offering a rustic forest getaway.

We are a family of four including two teenagers. We had a great time! It was just enough space to feel like we were having an adventure while having real quality time, huddled around the wood stove playing games.
We also found a nearby walk at Kettle Pond, which was the perfect happy, medium for the cold temperatures and beautiful surrounding landscapes.
The hosts were very communicative and gave us a lot of privacy. Amazing!

I really enjoyed this Hipcamp. The host took the time to connect with me prior to arrival about the winter weather conditions and what to expect when I arrived to the site. Which I felt was a nice touch. The sounds of the brook bubbling close by, even with a layer of snow, gave it a deep woods feel. There was plenty of dry firewood available to use as well. Looking forward to returning to this hidden gem in warmer temperatures!

Dugout Hideaway was an awesome spot to camp! It’s well maintained, private, quaint, and the electric hookup is a nice touch! The firewood is also a very nice touch. The lookout platform is super cozy. I sat there while drinking my morning coffee, I’m a big fan of it. I would certainly stay here again. Anytime there’s a babbling brook, sign me up!

Everyone would have there own site but you could all hang out together or have dinner at one site and breakfast in another. Jon was most accommodating and a wealth of local information. He loaned us an electric heater for our camper so we didn't have to use the noisy one installed. The driveway was a bit daunting for backing up but we did it without too much effort. There's a great hike with waterfalls on the property and a cute cafe close by with good food and live music. The bathrooms were the cleanest and nicest I have seen camping! We will definitely return!
