Sunrise Farm Sites 1 and 2 have oodles of space and Spectacular 50 mile views of Mount Monadnock with no house lights out there in the evening except the party string lights we provide. Site 1 (with entrance 70 yards south of the farmhouse) is best for camping in with up to 20 foot trailers or multiple tents …on the large flat spaces in the 25 acre field to choose from. Great Well water available near farmhouse. Biodegradable soaps Only if used in the ponds. Double Olympic sized Swim Pond we stock with Rainbow Trout to keep clear. We have been advised Not to allow imported firewood (can import Wood Beetle dangerous for our forest). - PLEASE use the Firewood bundle tubs we provide ($12.50) - pick up at the farmhouse or pull wood from the woods (and make it safer for use). Beautiful and plenty of wildlife nearby... as well as Outhouses are marked on Map we provide with solar lights marking them at night. Do Not Leave food out when camping or away from site. Bears are rarely seen but it is wild country. Sites have locking garbage lids. Unique and lovely as well as being next to trails and roads to miles of remote spots with very few if any ... people. In Winter we request only AWD vehicles go down to this site or park up by farmhouse and hike in so you can easily get out. When wet park up by the road if you have 2 wheel drive. Williamstown, MA (20 mins), offers tons of hiking trails and The Clark museum. Staying in VT: Readsboro, VT (10 mins), has an out-of-this-world general store with food you don't expect to find in the woods; Readsboro General Store is a must-see, and sandwiches/salads you'll come back for! The Marina Bar and Restaurant is a 2 mile hike or bike ride from the camp site (via the West River Trail) and is a fun way to see the beauty of Vermont and partake in some excellent indoor/outdoor dining with views of the water. Currently there are two areas available to campers; The Pine Forest and the Council of the Elders. The Pine Forest is a shaded circular area that is very spiritual and quiet. There are currently 3 camp sites in the Pine Forest. The Council of the Elders is a more open (again circular) area that abuts The Pine Forest and has a large fire pit as it's centerpiece, surrounded by the Elder Pine trees. I have had up to 2 campers and an occasional van/camper at the Council of the Elders. I have most recently had requests to book the entire Pine Forest for guests who are traveling together and want privacy- and Ido my best to work with people to accommodate any needs. Please bring your own firewood if you intend to have a fire. I offered wood to guests in the past when I was able but found that tricky to manage as there are times I myself am out of wood. There is plenty of felled wood all around as the property is surrounded by a dense forest and guests are welcome to gather that to supplement fire making. In my experience as a host, I have noted that folks come together and build mini-communities, share food, fires and is generally a positive vibe. Some come for privacy and solitude, which has not been an issue thus far. All in all the energy is upbeat and folks make friends along the way- me too! Brattleboro is a funky, hipster town with many excellent restaurants and much to see and do. For winter enthusiasts Mount Snow is a 30 minute drive and folks can cross country ski and snowshoe right from their camp sites to the 36 mile trail. The Hipcamper can expect privacy yet easy accessibility to the homeowner for tips and ideas to support a positive experience. Campers may be greeted and visited my friendly Bernese Mountain Dog's, Loki Bear and Levi!

There is a rudimentary outdoor toilet and shower. The shower can be filled with hot water using the faucet by the garage. All water from hoses, pump hoses and faucets is the same drinkable well water, collected from the many underground springs that also feed into the pond.

Very quiet with great swimming and lots of hikes right from your sites. 2 of the Brookside Sites (Wishbone Left and Right) are close by (2.7 miles) where we have another 1/2 mile of river frontage and can handle bigger groups as Conservation land on Sunrise Farm only allows 4 campers per site. Sunrise Farm Sites 1 and 2 have oodles of space and Spectacular 50 mile views of Mount Monadnock with no house lights out there in the evening except the party string lights we provide. Site 1 (with entrance 70 yards south of the farmhouse) is best for camping in with up to 20 foot trailers or multiple tents …on the large flat spaces in the 25 acre field to choose from. Great Well water available near farmhouse. Biodegradable soaps Only if used in the ponds. Double Olympic sized Swim Pond we stock with Rainbow Trout to keep clear. We have been advised Not to allow imported firewood (can import Wood Beetle dangerous for our forest). - PLEASE use the Firewood bundle tubs we provide ($12.50) - pick up at the farmhouse or pull wood from the woods (and make it safer for use). Beautiful and plenty of wildlife nearby... as well as Outhouses are marked on Map we provide with solar lights marking them at night. Do Not Leave food out when camping or away from site. The Council of the Elders is a more open (again circular) area that abuts The Pine Forest and has a large fire pit as it's centerpiece, surrounded by the Elder Pine trees. I have had up to 2 campers and an occasional van/camper at the Council of the Elders. I have most recently had requests to book the entire Pine Forest for guests who are traveling together and want privacy- and Ido my best to work with people to accommodate any needs. Please bring your own firewood if you intend to have a fire. I offered wood to guests in the past when I was able but found that tricky to manage as there are times I myself am out of wood. There is plenty of felled wood all around as the property is surrounded by a dense forest and guests are welcome to gather that to supplement fire making. In my experience as a host, I have noted that folks come together and build mini-communities, share food, fires and is generally a positive vibe. Some come for privacy and solitude, which has not been an issue thus far. All in all the energy is upbeat and folks make friends along the way- me too! Brattleboro is a funky, hipster town with many excellent restaurants and much to see and do. For winter enthusiasts Mount Snow is a 30 minute drive and folks can cross country ski and snowshoe right from their camp sites to the 36 mile trail. The Hipcamper can expect privacy yet easy accessibility to the homeowner for tips and ideas to support a positive experience. We enjoyed the horse run in! The run in was clean and had everything we needed. Very much enjoyed the wood burning stove, hot tub, and fire pit. We found the dvd player, books, and record player charming. The farm is beautiful and we enjoyed the town of Londonderry. While the listed rules were a bit overwhelming, Ben and Loana were very kind and hospitable and easy to deal with (it was only surprising bc the rules had set a bit of a different tone). I would highly recommend.

This was the perfect “glamping” spot! Tara has the space supplied with everything you may need. We especially enjoyed cooking our dinner over the fire, and sleeping to the sounds of the wood stove burning at night. Be prepared for the sounds of wildlife (coyotes). We never encountered them and always felt safe, but could certainly hear them! We would definitely return to this spot.

Beautiful farm with a friendly host and a bunch of friendly dogs that greeted us when we arrived and came to the cabin to see us when we woke up in the morning. It was a peaceful night and we enjoyed being able to feed and learn about the alpacas. There are also chickens and turkeys roaming about. A real treat for animal lovers. Will definitely come back!

Our 12acres are beautifully wooded with our pond as the central point of interest.  Camping with a trailer is a fun experience.  While we do not have a kitchen, we provide propane grill, BBQ grill shared refrigerators, pans, utensils, and dishwashing area, Please expect some vintage aspects, such as door handles, screens, windows, that function according to their age.  These are not new modern trailers and we think that adds to the appeal! However they are clean and cozy!Your trailer is down by the pond, the wildlife clay bottom is spring fed, swimming is allowed during daylight hours only and it is "Swim at your own Risk". Please read the house rules regarding rinsing off and refraining from getting suntan oil etc. in the pond.  We usually have wood on site for sale, advance request is much appreciated and please pay upon arrival with cash, $10 per ample bundle and $15 for a bag of charcoal.  We do not deliver after 5pm so please order in advance. PLEASE NOTE- you do not have our property to yourselves. We live onsite and on any given night, both trailers can be rented. The cook station, picnic table/benches under the pavilion and composting toilet are communally used. IMPORTANT-PLEASE PLAN TO CHECK IN BETWEEN 4 and 6:30 pm as this is not a location where we can accommodate arrivals after dark. After checking in, you can head back out for dinner, we are a mere 5 miles from Quechee. There are cooking utensils available, a two-burner Coleman stove, or a grate to put over the fire to cook any meal. All you'll need to escape into nature and unwind is your clothes and some food and you'll never have to leave... it is totally wooded as a peaceful retreat!
