What a unique experience! Melissa was such a gracious host. The site was so well kept, the cabin beautiful, and the views of the mountains were an unexpected plus. My husband and I didn't want to leave!

Unforgettable Experience!
My partner and I had an incredibly chill and beautiful time staying in the cabin near Tanglebloom Flower Farm. The cabin is immaculate with very smooth wooden floors and the double bed and bedding are very comfortable. I’ve never had such a relaxing experience while being so immersed in nature. Melissa is very good at the small details on both a practical and decorative level - to the water cooler out near the cabin to make sure we always have fresh water to the beautiful bouquet of flowers in the compost bathroom. Couldn’t recommend more!

Tranquil getaway with home comforts
If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with all the amenities of home comfort, this is your place!
Melissa, Mike & Jonas their Son, welcomed us in to their environment and made sure that you don’t need to bring a thing.
From cooking materials to towels, even to those little items which you never want to end up buying just for a small trip.
The cabin itself is tucked away on a hill overlooking a beautiful tree lined valley with a view of the stunning sunset through the evening.
We wanted an experience of being in the woods and amongst the wildlife to get away from city life, and this is exactly what we got. Whether that’s chilling in the hammock reading, trail hiking or floating in the cool river on a hot summers day, this ticked all the boxes.

Great digs!
This place is amazing. Great vibe and seclusion. Melissa was a great host and provided everything we needed. The composting outhouse was sparkling clean as was the cabin. We saw a few Cooper's hawks and a few newts. Listen for the howling of the sled dogs in the distance. You'll hear them at night and right around sunrise :)
We had 1 night of rain and we stayed dry. We loved listening to the rain against the roof. This is my 3rd open air cabin I've stayed in and this was by far my favorite. Cell reception is spotty at the cabin. I have Verizon and I was able to get 4G on the porch but reception comes and goes.

Tanglebloom Cabin is a very short 1-2 min walk into the woods from where you park, and there is a cart to help you bring your things to the cabin. Melissa was great with communication before my stay and she has created and kept up this amazing open air cabin. The latrine/compost toilet is very clean. The cabin is clean and the bed is comfortable, and there is an extra comforter for when its cold out. Other bonus features are a fire pit, bench (with a view!), table/chair, outside kitchenette, and hammock. Will definitely be back in the future!

This was our first Hipcamp experience, though we have stayed at many an Airbnb, and we can't stop talking about it! The cabin is just lovely. Beautifully nestled just far enough into the woods. It's cozy and very, very well stocked with everything from kindling to coffee. For those who are used to tent camping like us, this will certainly be a luxurious and restful stay. We've already recommended this spot to friends. Thanks, Melissa!

Melissa's cabin is absolutely stunning and in an incredibly beautiful part of Vermont. The attention she has given to every last detail inspired us to one day build something of our own. She provided thorough, easy to follow instructions before checkout and gave us all the privacy in the world during our stay. The view and shade allow you to spend the whole day there, just relaxing if you so choose. If not, there are plenty of activities nearby. We loved sleeping to the sounds of the surrounding forest and the West River. You may hear the occasional passing car or noise on the road down below or from neighbors across the valley, but it is an otherwise serene setting.

Our stay at Tanglebloom was wonderful!
The place is homy and comfortable (and makes a great approach to camping if you’re not used to it like me). We loved making a bbq on the fire pit at sunset, watching the stars at night and waking up to the sunlight gleaming through the trees and roof! (+the bed was extremely comfortable)
The area is also really nice, we loved swimming in the river at the summer recreational area and buying our food at great local stores/farms.
Thank you so much, we’d love to be back!

This place is magical! We were nervous because it was planning to rain most of our trip, but dare I say it made it even better. The sound of the rain on the rooftop was so soothing and encouraged us to slow down and relax. We loved this spot and hope to visit again!

We loved staying here! The cabin was perfect for a weekend trip. Everything was set up nicely, and Melissa nicely provided anything we could possibly need. The location was also excellent, since it was nearby Brattleboro center, a bunch of farm stands, and hiking. Would totally recommend staying here if you get a chance. We are hoping to return in the summer since it was such as nice experience overall.

The cabin is amazing! My boyfriend and I had an amazing time. The cabin is very clean and the little kitchen has some spices and tools if you want to cook. There are candles and a flashlight, plus a board game, some books, local recommendations and a small first aid kit. The bathroom in the main house is great and they have towels and some toiletries for guests. Water is also provided in the camp site. Even though the night was a bit chilly, we were really warm thanks to the blankets. There is a lot of privacy as well. While we did not personally meet with Melissa, everything was explained to detail and there were instructions everywhere (arrival, what to do while there, facilities, etc). There was also someone available to check is in and out, in case we had questions, and they were really great and helpful! It was a highlight in our road trip and I am looking forward to going there again! Thanks, Melissa, for a beautiful experience!

What a magical little spot! Situated on a secluded overlook with a view of the mountains and river below, this sweet little cabin is the perfect place to relax, read, contemplate, and come home to after a long hike and a swim in the river. The outdoor kitchen is well stocked with cookware, oil, spices, tea, etc. There's a table for two, a hammock, a fire pit, and a wonderful little cabin with a clear roof and a cross breeze to sleep in. We will absolutely be back.

My boyfriend and I spent a wonderful weekend at Tanglebloom Sleeping Cabin. The cabin and surrounding land are absolutely beautiful - located down a short pathway from Melissa & her husband Mike’s house and their gorgeous flower farm, tucked just far enough in the woods to feel completely private & isolated, yet still an easy walk from the bathroom & your car (& wifi access if that's a concern).
Melissa and Mike have really thought of everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We are accustomed to tent camping so had brought most of our gear with us but you really won’t need any it here. They have the cabin area fully stocked with all you might need during your stay - fire starting materials, cooking supplies (complete with their delicious homegrown dried chiles - yum!), drinking water, super comfortable bedding, a hammock in the trees for ultimate relaxation and so much more.
We would have been very happy hanging out on the property for the entire weekend but did end up doing a bit of exploring in the local area. Some highlights for us were:
Delicious dinner on the patio at Three Stones (Mayan cuisine) in Brattleboro
Lunch at Superfresh Organic Cafe in Brattleboro
Brattleboro Farmers Market (Saturday mornings)
A float in the West River, just down the road from the farm
Swimming and hiking at Grout Pond in Stratton
All in all, an incredible experience staying at Tanglebloom - we will be back for sure!

Our stay at the Tanglebloom cabin was phenomenal! We are already planning to come back in the near future. The cabin is stocked with everything you need to be comfortable in the outdoors including a gas grill and all necessary kitchen ware. Because, the property is on a hill, the view from the bench was a very nice surprise. Everything from lying in the hammock, hanging out on the bed in the cabin, sitting on the bench, to having a meal at the dining table was very pleasant and enjoyable. We also got a chance to enjoy fresh eggs from the ducks on the farm, which were delicious. We had originally planned to hike the Saturday we were there but we enjoyed the cabin so much, we decided to hike after we checked out of the cabin on Sunday instead.
PS Our hosts, their baby son, and dog are all amazing!

Tanglebloom Cabin was truly magically relaxing! It is nestled just far enough in the woods to feel completely off the grid but still close the main house. The cabin is furnished with a futon from heaven, a chair and side table that is stacked with books on travel. The "kitchen" area is fully equipped with utensils and food storage, and a camping stove. There was very little packing needed for the stay because they had almost everything available, which makes it a perfect spot for an impromptu getaway for a few days to unplug.
I did have some trouble getting there due to the lack of cell coverage in that area (t-mobile) and the roads were sketchy.
Melissa and Mike were so very welcoming and kind too. I already plan on returning!
