Weekend Trip to Ryegate Away Cabins

I had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was adorably decorated with a cozy rustic aesthetic and felt very welcoming. The bed was super comfortable, and although there was a space heater provided, I didn’t end up needing it. The host was extremely communicative and helpful, even making sure I had a warm shower in the morning, which I really appreciated. The views of the river were beautiful—especially in the morning with the fog rolling across the water. One of my favorite parts of the stay was the animals on the property—it made the experience feel even more special. I also loved that I was able to bring my dog along with me.

The cabin had a great view of the river and I enjoyed my stay. My dog was allowed which I always appreciate. Jessica brought a heater for me which was perfect for the chilly nights. I arrived at night and did not see the sink/hose for water. You do have to turn the water on and off from the house. Jessica was very responsive and I was able to meet and chat with her. There are chickens, ducks, and 2 goats but I did not hear any of them at all from the cabin.

Weekend Trip to Ryegate Away Cabins

Jessica is a great host and the cabin was really clean and cute! The set up is really cool and the view is amazing but we can’t have access because the road is private as mentioned by Jessica. The rustic toilet was really tidy! Real dish would be highly appreciated like wine glasses, real plates, glasses instead of paper cup, etc. Also, an additional time to shower after the day (example from 4:00 to 5:00) would be nice after a long hike. Overall the place is great for 1 or 2 nights! Thanks!

We had a lovely time staying at the Getaway Nest! Jessica's location feels delightfully secluded while still being near several necessities for anything we needed or forgot. A great home base for either chilling overlooking the river or several day trips to nearby destinations. Jessica was very helpful answering questions and helping with requests while also giving us our space.

Weekend Trip to Woods and Water Willoughby Campsite

My son, dog & I had a great night the hive ! It was clean and neat and well equipped! Amey was friendly and welcoming! We played in the river, had diner & swam at Willoughby then had a cozy, snug sleep back at the site. The portapotty was very clean too!

Weekend Trip to Art and Health Chill Camping

Sandy has been working with me and my fiancee to plan our wedding on her land. We’ve camped in the hive cabins for two nights while we’ve been dreaming and scheming. She’s been fabulous! She’s been helping us brainstorm everything from logistics to ceremony details. She loves what she’s doing and it shows in how generous she is with her land and time. It’s been a delight to get to know her and I know our wedding is going to be so special!
