Base Camp is a family owned and operated elevated camping experience that combines comfort with best of what nature has to offer in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Base Camp has two cabins and 5 private glamping sites that each feature their own firepit and charcoal grill, as well as a common lodge for all guests. Guests enjoy exploring the marked trails found throughout the 200 acre property which features dense woods, scenic views, and bubbling brooks, along with several Relaxation Stations nestled in select locations. The Base Camp Lodge features a full kitchen available to all guests, two full restrooms with showers (towels + soaps provided), high speed Wi-Fi, Roku TV, foosball and chess table, as well as the Base Camp gift shop.

Dagger’s Ravine is tucked back on a hilltop ledge with some very nice views. In the woods and private with your own charcoal grill, firepit and the comforts of home with a full bed and a twin bed. All linens included. It’s a perfect getaway for campers who want to enjoy the outdoors with just the right amount of comfort for a perfect outdoor adventure. The extras are you can access Basecamp Lodge during your stay for all amenities, two bathrooms, full kitchen, dining area, sitting room den area, some games and foosball! Sugar Brook's Glamping Tent is framed by rugged, moss-draped boulders, the canvas structure blends rustic charm with high-end comfort, creating a peaceful haven to relax and enjoy nature. This tent allows direct car access via a dirt drive leading directly to your tent. Also centrally located a 3 minute walk to reach "Basecamp Lodge" your common space for glamping guests. Amenities include Two Bathrooms, full kitchen, living and dining area, and a gift shop with fresh maple syrup and custom orders for purchase. Charcoal Grill and firepit at your site. We have plenty of Camp-wood for purchase which can be pre set upon request. Very comfortable King bed all linens included. A couple of solar lights for nightfall ambiance.

Brook Ridge
I loved it at BaseCamp, and the Brook Ridge site! This place is the absolute perfect blend of being able to immerse in nature in a very quiet, secluded spot; but to also have the amenities of the lodge with bathrooms, showers, fridge/freezer, gorgeous kitchen to cook in, and other resources/ features close by is just ideal- your choice to stay “off the grid” at your site, or lean on all the conveniences of the lodge more if preferred. The Brook Ridge site (the most secluded site) could be a bit of a strenuous walk for some people. The description says a 5-7 minute walk from its parking area. I’m in decent shape and found it to be more of a 3-5 minute walk, but the walk back uphill from the tent to the parking area is certainly a bit steep and could be challenging for many I’m sure! I highly recommend bringing a foldable garden wagon or something for transporting gear if at Brook Ridge or Hidden Ridge.. despite the walk, the seclusion of those sites is well worth it if that’s your flavor! Jane was incredibly nice and left me some local eggs when she found out I was mostly cooking at my site, and both Jane and Mike have a good sense of leaving people be, but also being communicative and close by if needed. The lodge was incredibly clean and modern, and the overall grounds are well maintained too- All in a stunning surrounding area. I will definitely be back!

Kilimanjaro Cabin
The property here was amazing to be at. I was part of a 4.person group bikepacking through Vermont and came across this as an option for reprieve during a to be rainy night. The main lodge was very homey, communal, and clean. A huge kitchen and plenty of seating/hang out area for folks to catch up and chat. Honestly we would have loved to stay longer and get to know even more about the place as it seemed to have some good history and current operations to it.

Brook Ridge
Wonderful spot. We stayed here on our fall trip to dog mountain with our senior dog and light hiking in fall foliage. The bed was comfortable and the lodge area was nice to make coffee, hot teas, and take a warm shower. The hosts were lovely and communicative. They even had the sweetest horses living there. Gorgeous comfortable glamping spot. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Awesome Weekend!
Wedding Hill
Fantastic! Definitely worth a visit! We enjoyed a nice relaxing few days taking advantage of the trails cut on property and some fantastic mornings, sunsets and Star gazing. Great “glamping” sites and the Basecamp lodge was perfect. I definitely recommend it!

Kilimanjaro Cabin
Our family of four and two cats had an amazing time spent on this beautiful, peaceful property surrounded by trees and wildlife. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The lodge was also very cozy, well maintained, and spacious. There was a perfect balance of the outdoors and creature comforts so we felt like we had everything we needed during our stay. This cabin is a wonderful choice for those seeking a private getaway in any season. Our experience was warm and welcoming from the day of our arrival to our departure and I highly recommend staying here!

Fabulous stay
Wedding Hill
Basecamp is a fabulous glamping experience. Being able to use the kitchen to make dinner and coffee in the morning was wonderful! We stayed at their wedding hill site. It was completely secluded, with.a gorgeous overlook. The yurt tent was cozy after a long day of traveling, I slept great and awoke to opening the tent and gazing through the fog as dawn broke.

Brook Ridge
Base camp was really nice, very clean. Evan was a great host. He brought our firewood out every time we asked for wood. He brought us ice as well. The brook ridge site is nice and secluded, the walk to the site isn't bad. The property is well taken care of!
