Spending a weekend in Verbena Vista at Dreamland is the perfect way to disconnect and decompress. The cabin is very clean and comfortable and it is surrounded by a lovely site with many wonders to discover. Beside being a very welcoming hostess, Fearn crafted a personalized ritual to help me with something that I am going through. In order to provide me with the best possible experience, Fearn really took the time to listen to my story and to understand how I feel. Throughout the ritual, she was a very caring and compassionate guide. I left Dreamland with many tools to help me embrace a transition that I feared. I strongly recommend to anyone who believes in the healing power of nature to work with Fearn.

This was just an all around wonderful spot! The cabin is peaceful, secluded, so cute, and situated on a lovely beaver pond with lots of wildlife. Bill and Cindy are amazingly kind, helpful folks who are doing great things with their farm and land. Cindy and I talked for hours during the farm tour! I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone and plan to go back during the wintertime too!

2 nights at Verbena Vista at Dreamland

I loved staying at the tiny house at Dreamland! The bed was very comfortable and the views of the mountains were amazing! It is a cozy spot nestled in the mountains and hills, where one can live close to the land. The cabin itself is an excellent example of comfortable off-grid living in a tiny home. The pond warms up quickly in the morning from direct sun exposure. I saw broad-winged hawks, black-throated blue warblers, yellow-bellied sapsuckers, wood frogs, Eastern newts, and more. Events held at Dreamland are a great opportunity to meet a community of folks interested in nature-based spirituality.

The cabin location was peaceful and Cynthia was a lovely host! I enjoyed touring the property and learning more about their farm and sustainability efforts... she even sent me a photo the next day of a new calf that had arrived overnight! Quiet, clean and easy to access -- very happy with my stay!

2 nights at Little Log Cabin in Vermont

This little cabin was the perfect little get-a-way for a couple of days. The sound of the little brook beside the cabin was soothing. It’s located on a dirt road and it was a bit muddy when we visited so I’d recommend something with AWD or 4WD. The wood stove kept the cabin very warm. PK provided the basic essentials for a short stay. I do wish there had been easier access to walk down to the brook but it was still manageable. PK was very quick to response and a great host!

This was our second time here and will definitely keep coming back. It’s very private and Cindy is so welcoming and an amazing host. Our favorite part was waking up to the sunrise over the mountains on the porch outside with a cup of coffee. So relaxing and exactly the break we needed from our daily life.

Staying on this land in Winter, tuck up ib the cozy cabin, was truly a dream. I stayed very warm and protected from the elements. Less so when I hiked into the woods, but the beautiful trees and snow made up for it. There was an everpresent feeling of being held during my stay. It was quiet, peaceful, and slow.

Verbena Vista cabin is a comfortable and cozy place to spend time relaxing, enjoying a beautiful view, and peace and quiet surrounded by woods and fields. It is a special spot! Two nights was the perfect amount of time to let my nervous system wind down here. Stars, streams, dark nights, comfy bed! Fearn is a great host. Responsive to communication, caring, and respectful. The cabin is set up thoughtfully and has all the basics. (Read the description in case there are extras you want to bring.) Fearn created a ritual for me that was just what I needed. I definitely recommend this add on if it appeals to you! I look forward to another visit for sure.

Staying at Verbena Vista was just what I needed. The cabin itself is lovely, clean, secure feeling, warm, and beautiful. It had all I needed to be comfortable. The land itself truly is magical. You feel it as soon as you get there. This was a place that I could just drop in to myself and stay there with ease. I also did ritual work with Fearn and I feel like I gave myself the best gift. The process of getting clear on its purpose and then carrying it out was so grounding and clarity-giving. I felt supported on a very deep level, and truly cared for. Thank you, Fearn, for offering such a wonderful space to others and making the land you steward something people can enjoy. I will definitely be back!

This place is a true gem. If you're looking for a peaceful escape to nature hosted by an incredible farming family, come. The cabin is secluded and the pond, with its amazing wildlife, is yours to enjoy uninhibited. I needed a reconnection to nature and this checked all the boxes, and then some. I'm used to rustic camping so the hot water, shower, fridge, super comfy bed, woodstove, lamps, etc were luxurious in a place that felt like back country camping. Plus, it smells amazing! I can't wait to come back and visit the pond in another season.

Come and unwind with nature all around you. We are very pet friendly! And ask that all dogs are on a leash while outside. Also pets are not to be left in the cabins unattended at any time. Looking for another option to the river? The Belvidere Pond is down the road and offers a peaceful place to paddle around surrounded by the mountains. MAPLE SYRUP/SUGARBUSH Want to learn about the maple sugaring process? We are always happy to give you a tour of our sugarhouse and the woods, and explain how we turn the tree sap into yummy Maple Syrup. (We only boil January-early April.) We do have this year's crop bottled and available for sale! Buy one for morning pancakes, to add to your morning coffee, or to take home! WILDLIFE/BERRIES/MUSHROOMS/FIDDLEHEADS Depending on the time of the year, you can find wild raspberries, blackberries, mushrooms, and fiddleheads. (Please do not pick or eat something if you don't know if it is poisonous!) And, wildlife are around. Look for tracks in the soil, signs they have been there, or if you are really quiet (usually in the early morning or at dusk) you might see deer, geese, or wild turkeys!
