Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This memorable destination, just minutes from the stunningly gorgeous Lake Willoughby, comes with 30 acres of land to explore. On the land you will have access to nearly a mile of Willoughby River Frontage, a large stone labyrinth and beautiful fields of wildflowers. Come experience the true nature of Vermont through a connection with nature. Multiple camp sites are available for tent or RV camping. Electricity is available at most sites. There are many sites to choose from. Most likely you will be out of sight of other guests who may also be camping. There is a shared bathhouse for guest use, which will be cleaned daily throughout your stay. There is also tables and chairs provided, as well as a fire ring and a starter pile of firewood. Please note that there is not potable water available. Guests will need to bring their own tent and sleeping arrangements. All Pets must be kept on a leash during a guests stay.

As private as private gets but only 6 miles to Newport Vt. There is a creek and a one acre pond (20 feet deep). It is all mixed hard and softwoods. It has some magnificent old growth trees 100 foot tall. There is a good rd that my friend has used with his Lincoln. Most any vehicle (car or Pickup)can get to the site. It gets a little tricky if you are pulling a trailer. A small one is OK but a large one - not so much....... The rd goes 1/2 mile to the rear of the land. Moose, deer and other critters visit too. We live 1/2 mile away from where you enter the woodlot. Our house is on Brownington Pond (200+ acres) & campers can use this site for swimming, boating & fishing. It gets a little tricky if you are pulling a trailer. A small one is OK but a large one - not so much....... The rd goes 1/2 mile to the rear of the land. Moose, deer and other critters visit too. We live 1/2 mile away from where you enter the woodlot. Our house is on Brownington Pond (200+ acres) & campers can use this site for swimming, boating & fishing. We are minutes away from mountain biking at the Kingdom Trails, Restaurants and bars, Lake Willoughby, Fire Fly farm stand, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, downhill skiing and snowboarding, ice climbing, ice fishing, cross country skiing, snow showing and vast trails. ✨👁️🌀💪🏼🌳Our vision is to create a Food Forest campground. Every penny goes toward stewarding the land! With the profits we buy more perennial food and herb plants, improve facilities and help build infrastructure. ♻️🚽🧻♻️Please note: We now have a composting toilet! Please put 2 scoops of sawdust in the bucket after you go. The rainwater catchment part for the dish pit is still under construction but the toilet is fully functional. 🌳🦫🦆💧 Also check out the beaver duck pondbehind campsite 2! My father and the beavers have been hard at work creating waterfowl and local habitat. My father put in two wood duck nesting boxes that both have occupants :) Bill has planted smartweed, millet, buckwheat, wild rice and dwarf corn for our non human friends.
