The view out our front yard is deer Valley ski resort. You’re welcome to park your trailer in our driveway and enjoy our amenities.Learn more about this land:One mile up a dirt road with easy access to Wasatch National Forest directly from our driveway. Aspen Forest Camp - Fall Ready!

Aspen Forest is a campsite adjacent to a cabin in Pine Meadows Ranch in Coalville, Utah. The Tollgate Canyon exit is very easy to access and is right off I-80, just 10 minutes north of Park City. We are an ideal location for an overnight stop on your I-80 roadtrip! The campsite is located up a 5 mile, 15 minute scenic drive over groomed dirt roads in a heavily forested area. The property is in a semi-secluded area with adequate privacy. Most adjacent cabins are seasonal and not occupied. You'll have unobstructed views of the surrounding valley during the day, and a gorgeous star-filled sky at night on a 1/2 acre site all to yourself.
We have a level driveway with adequate parking for cars, truck campers, Class B vans and camping trailers up to 12' in length. Because the road can be narrow in places with tight turns and few places to back out or turn around. Class A and Class C RVs are too long, and therefore not permitted.
From May to October, the campsite includes a 12' x 20' level tent site with outdoor shower, power station, cooking station, BBQ equipment (charcoal and propane), shaded picnic table, gas firepit, bathroom tent with a free-standing flushing camp toilet, hand washing station and water faucet.
From November to April, we winterize our tent site and outdoor shower, and transform to a car/van camping spot with outdoor water, power, camp toilet, and firepit included in the basic campsite rental. Please note that only AWD or 4WD vehicles with winter tires and/or tire chains as needed are permitted during this time of the year. Do you need help sourcing a reasonably priced 4WD vehicle or snow chains for rent to access the campsite? Please message the owner for assistance. We can provide the gear you need right at the base of Tollgate Canyon.
Free amenities during the late Fall, Winter and early Spring seasons are the use of hiking poles, snowshoes, sleds and cross-country ski equipment in various sizes. If you'd prefer to have an indoor restroom, or access kitchen or entertainment areas during your stay, we offer these add-ons at very reasonable rates. Message us for more information.
Depending on the season, an ATV with snow chains, full sized raft, SUP and kayaks - as well as vehicle mounting systems for all the gear, are also available for reasonable daily rental rates right on the property. Just scan the QR code with your smartphone. ATV renters will need to create an account on Yoodlize.com to obtain insurance and sign liability waivers.
Did you forget something? As experienced campers, we've tried to think of everything you may need while enjoying the outdoors. From firewood to propane, marshmallows, a first aid kit, mosquito repellent, dog treats, charcoal or batteries we have those for you at low cost right at the campsite. Just scan a QR code to complete your purchase.

This is a private driveway in a great location in Big Cottonwood Canyon. The driveway is long and surrounded by aspen, abutting the "old" unused house on my property, so it is private. Although near the main road, the site feels private. You are less than 1 minute walk to Big Cottonwood Creek, and there is hiking out the door in multiple directions, as well as easy biking to Solitude Resort. As a bonus, you are 1/4 mile from Silver Fork Lodge if you get a hankering for a prepared meal.
Please note that there are NO DOGS allowed in Big or Little Cottonwood canyons. There is a high fine if so. So this is not an appropriate spot to bring your four-legged friends unfortunately.
