Our latest addition! A "cowboy cabin" is a simple cabin somewhere between camping and a hotel room. Ours has electricity, heat and AC, a bunk bed that can sleep 3, mini fridge, microwave and wall mounted TV. Like most cowboy cabins, it does not have its own plumbing, but our famously clean private restrooms with showers are just a 50ft walk.

Our pull-through sites are 85ft long and 17ft wide and will accommodate any size unit. Each site has its own grass area as well as a pedestal with 20, 30, and 50 amp and full hookups.

•Premium Shower / Restroom

We’re close to most main attractions and tourist spots in Southern Utah! Conveniently close to the freeway, have your choice of local towns, parks, or mountains.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-Are pets permitted?
Yes you are allowed to have two pets with you, although they may not be aggressive. See policies for more information.
-Do you have a ten-year rule?
No, but we do expect all vehicles to be well-maintained and management has the right to turn away any RV.
-Is there a fee for cancellations?
If the reservation is canceled prior to 24 hours from check-in time there will not be a fee, however, if it is within 24 hours there will be a $30 fee.
-How many people are permitted at a site?
Up to 4 adults are permitted at each site.
-Are the showers free?
Yes, they are free.
-Do you have a laundromat?
Yes, the entry is on the north side of the building in between the bathrooms.
RESORT POLICIES
-RV Site Policies
Our Mission is to share, nurture and invite others to the beauty that Nature has to offer and to provide a safe place to stay. The following rules were established keeping in mind our mission and to allow for the safety of the guests. We ask that you please be mindful of others. All contingencies cannot be covered in a set of rules, future modifications may be made. Thank you for obeying the RV Resort rules which allow us to have a safe and enjoyable place to stay.
-Vehicles in the Resort
Limited to one(1) RV and one(1) vehicle
*Please reach out to management if other accommodations are needed. Third vehicles must be approved.
-Well Maintained
The RV must be in a well-maintained overall condition. Management has the right to turn away any RV.
-Site Care
We strive to provide a clean and well-kept place for all our guests. We ask that you assist us with keeping the sites clean and free of debris. To do this we ask that you only have furniture and other items intended for outside use visible at your site. If storage of items is needed we ask that it be done in an orderly manner inside appealing/well-kept storage bins under your RV or vehicles.
For the safety of all resort visitors, the speed limit throughout is 5 miles per hour
-Consideration
Quiet time to be observed daily from 10 pm-8 am
If not respected, management has the right to ask you to leave.
-Not Permitted
•No hanging laundry
•No appliances outside of your RV
•No alcohol except at your designated site
•Absolutely no fireworks or firearms
•No repairs or maintenance may be done in the resort, except by resort approved mobile services. Inoperable or unlicensed vehicles are not permitted in the resort
Parking anywhere but your designated site is not allowed
-Pets
Pets are welcome but must be kept on 6-foot max leashes except at Dog Park. They may not be left unattended throughout the resort. RV guests are required to immediately clean up and dispose of all pet droppings. If not disposed of immediately fines may occur.
Pets are not allowed in any Painted Hills RV Resort buildings, bathrooms, or playground areas. They may not be left unattended outside of such areas.
Limit to two pets. No aggressive dogs are allowed. If your dog exhibits this type of behavior, management will ask you to find other accommodations and you will be liable for any damage or harm caused by your pet to the resort or others.

Kolob Campground is located adjacent to the Kolob Reservoir boat ramp and dock, including four acres of private shoreline. Just a few feet from the paved road, nestled in tall aspen, oak,
and pine trees.
Access to potable water is available adjacent to camp, and public restrooms (vault toilets) are only a short walk from camp.
WiFi access is available nearby at Kolob Adventure Rentals/Adventure Beach (3 minute walk). WiFi location and password provided by host upon request. This is an exclusive benefit available to our guests, and the only WiFi available to campers in the area.

Welcome to the New Desert Bloom Campground – A Hidden Gem Location of Southern Utah. Right off Highway 89, and only 2 miles from the wonderful downtown Kanab. Perfect middle ground between Zion, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon North Rim.
We have full hookups for RVs, pull through and back in spots, car camping spots, glamping vans, Geodesic Domes, and more unique accommodations!

I had an amazing and relaxing stay at Desert Bloom. If you are looking for a peaceful and convenient place to camp near Kanab, you can’t find a better spot. Michael and Griffin are great host and really went out of the way to make sure I had everything I needed. I prefer to camp off grid, but every once in a while you just need a place to plug in and get a shower. This was perfect for that and the private shower suites were clean and well taken care of. I can’t recommend Desert Bloom enough.

Great camping spot for our 18’ camper van. Just outside Kanab with very easy access from the highway. The hosts Michael & Griffin are very friendly and fun. Clean bathrooms with hot (to die for) showers. Oh and there are 4 showers! There are hiking trails that unfortunately we did not have time for. The overall ambiance was charming and fun. Zion is 30 min away by car. We’ve been to over 20 hip camps and this is one of the best!

It was a beautiful place and the spot was level and easy to access. The bathhouse was great. My only issue was the cost. Once taxes and fees were added the spot cost me $102.

Our stay at Gateway Luxury RV Park was a great way enjoy Zion Park. Although it was about a 30 minute drive, it was an easy and beautiful one. Getting to sit in the jacuzzi after a long day of hiking was the best! We very much appreciated their great service when we had a low tire and the office sent someone with a portable air compressor and got it pumped back up.

Terrific camp sites in a lovely valley perfectly situated between Bryce and Zion. So appreciated the nice amenities and the lovely ponds. Betty was a very communicative directions and setup were easy. Hope to go back again and stay a little longer!!

This camp is absolutely beautiful! My rig was a little too big for the van site but that’s on me- not them. I was able to park in the parking lot at entrance without difficulty. We had the entire place to ourselves- so quiet and peaceful.

Very well maintained campground. Our spot was level and easy to back into. The bathrooms / showers were clean with ample supplies. Very quiet location and great for night time star gazing. We were along the river and there is a nice walking path around the campground. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area. We drove to Bryce Canyon from here even though it is about 2 hrs away. Got an early start and had a lovely day there. We also visited Zion from here (20 mins away) and had a memorable time there too.
The staff at the campground was friendly and helpful. Recommended a nice place to eat in town which we enjoyed. Five stars!

I wanted to stay near the east end of Zion to take advantage of hiking and biking near there. Desert Bloom was a great location for this. Hwy 89 was nearby but I was not bothered by road noise.
Griffith was a wonderful host. He communicated well and greeted me when I arrived and made sure all my needs were met. The late check out option is ideal allowing time for a shower after morning adventures. The bathhouse was clean with hot showers. The restaurant was under construction and that will be an added feature when it is open.
I would definitely stay here again.

This is a new endeavor for the owner, Griffin. It’s an old neglected RV spot but has wonderful potential. The team worked tirelessly while I was there cleaning, repairing and organizing. What you get is full hookups, awesome canyon wall behind and some trails to explore. Literally under five minutes to Kanab. It’s a work in progress and a great deal of I’d stay again.

We loved camping here in our little camper for 3 nights. It is a beautiful property in the best location- close to Bryce and Zion etc. The property itself is super cute with cows close by, a cool shoe tree, games, a 24 hour store to buy firewood/supplies and HEATED bathrooms with AMAZING showers!!! The host family were so sweet and welcoming we felt safe and comfortable. Sunset was beautiful as we enjoyed our fire in a peaceful spot. We would 100% recommend and will hopefully stay here again.

This is a great spot. Two miles down a nice dirt road. So easy to find. There was one other person the first night. Other than them we were solo. Nobody in sight. So quiet and beautiful stars at night. We just picked a site and hooked up. Would definitely stay here again. Spent the day at Bryce Canyon NP.
