Creekside Glamping and Camping only 9 miles from Zion National Park. Heated Glamping Tents and Spacious Private Campsites on 53 acres of natural desert landscapes and riparian habitat. Just far enough from the crowds for an unrushed and quiet camping experience. Located just off Kolob Terrace Road at mile marker 2. The road we are located on continues, after the property, up to 8000' elevation at Lava Point, an overlook in Zion National Park providing a tremendous overhead view of the entirety of Zion. On the drive past our property the road passes through desert, riparian, pinyon-juniper, and conifer woodlands. Multiple uncrowded trails are accessible along the road, including the trail to Kolob Arch, the 6th longest natural arch in the world. All sites on our property are creek side and provide afternoon shade. Lush vegetation straddles a year around flowing creek. Our campsites are widely spaced to maximize privacy. We have 53 acres and only 4 tent sites and 2 glamping tents! Multiple trails leave right from our property that lead to sweeping views, a tunnel and desert solitude. Accessible activities off Kolob Terrace Road includes West Rim Trail, Lava Point Overlook, Wildcat Canyon Trail, Kolob Reservoir & a ton more.

Good proximity to Zion/Springdale as well as clean facilities. Unfortunately a little unpleasant in the evening with bugs.

Kolob gate gardens, yes!
Quiet and so peaceful! Beautiful! Near enough to Zion NP to enjoy the awesomeness of the park. All necessary amenities available … hot shower, clean toilet, and spacious place to camp. Only downside was that it was a bit difficult to find and that was complicated by no cell phone service bc of the remote location.

This was the perfect place to stay! Close to Zion and also not too far from town. Everything we needed was provided and the coffee was delicious. The property is beautiful, we really appreciated the solar light lit trail up the hill.

Great little getaway from the crowds at Zion. Property sits by the creek with lots of Cottonwoods. The shower was a bonus and quite lovely. Matthew was responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the refuge.

Truly amazing place to camp. The hot shower was only an added bonus but 100% necessary after a long day hiking in Zion! I loved falling asleep to the sound of the creek. Matthew and his wife were very generous and friendly, as well.

Beautiful camp spot! Every spot is spaced out for privacy and the entire area well thought out. Super close to Zion and trails on the West side of Zion! The bathroom was extremely clean and the shower was heavenly after camping for a few days. We loved the little hike up the hill behind the camp site for sunset. Would recommend for tent or van campers!

Woodland Tent
Charming, not far from Zion NP
A lovely property, we stayed in the Woodland tent, right next to the north fork of the Virgin River. The bed was comfortable, And lots of nice amenities like heat (didn’t need it), mood lighting, and pour over coffee available in the tent. This site is private with a fire ring and picnic table. There’s a porta potty very close. The string lights on and around the tent make it very cozy and homey. The foot bridge across the river was kind of rickety, and a little spooky but added to the charm. It’s about a 20 minute drive to Zion National Park.

Zion Treat!
Kolob Gate Gardens was a treat! Such a nice property and super clean facilities. Shower was awesome and camp kitchen was perfect. There is a neat lil lit up trail that takes you to a hammock on the hill! The views are sick . Matt and Travis are very accommodating and elite individuals. Highly recommend!!

Camping along a river!
We loved this campsite. Super open and lots of space for campers, and the sound of the rushing river was lovely at night. Make sure you bring potable water, but this wasn't an issue for us. Shower is very well maintained and warm, absolutely recommend. The port-a-potty bathrooms were also very clean and didn't smell. Sight was super scenic and host was quick at communication. We definitely recommend a stay here!

Absolutely loved staying at Kolob Gardens. Matt was an extremely helpful host and went above and beyond to accommodate us. All the campsites were serene, I loved setting up my hammock next to the creek. That was also the best shower I’ve taken maybe ever! The bathrooms were so clean and well taken care of, there is clearly so much love put into this place. I will certainly be staying here again next time I plan a trip in the area!!

Well cared for and tranquil
Tranquil, beautiful location, along creek but easy access off road, with all the little touches- fire ring, picnic table, clean and accessible porta-potties, dish washing sink, showers. Fantastic mini hike up switchbacks to wonderful overlook with hammock, wild flowers and cacti throughout property. We were in site #2 and loved it completely.

Extraordinary experience
I don't know how to begin to list all the amazing qualities of this campsite. Matthew's attention to detail is completely unique in my experience. We are seniors, who were grateful for the quality of the queen-size bed. The site is gorgeous and private enough. Thanks to the prodigious snowmelt this year, the creek was too full to drive across. Matthew put in a footbridge for campers to get across. Everything was green and lush. There are solar lights that come on at dusk, making it possible to climb the steep ridge behind the house, where you have an amazing view of the mesa across the road. The port-a-potty is nearby and cloaked in bamboo to fit in with the setting. There's great coffee, hanging pots of fresh herbs and a hummingbird feeder. There's solar electric to charge phones and supply lights at night. Since we flew to Utah, we couldn't bring camping gear. Matthew had most everything we needed. Whatever he didn't have, he supplied for us. We were there six nights and would have happily stayed another six, hiking in and out of Zion and just hanging out by the creek. We made an amazing day trip to Best Friends Animal Refuge, another astonishing place. I was sad to leave this beautiful place, so thoughtfully created and so attuned with nature.

Beautiful camp!
We had the best time here! Our spot by the creek was so peaceful and the property has several nice touches. There is an outdoor kitchen available for use, a shower, and the cleanest porta potties (with a light) that we’ve ever seen! There were also hiking trails that were lit. The grounds are spacious and we felt like we were out there all by ourselves! Matthew was a great host! We had a great time and would love to go back!

Lovely spot, right across from the old Red Bull Rampage sites, as well as King Kong/Flying Monkey mtb trails. Shower is very refreshing, camp is clean and organized. Clean bathroom, river drowns out noise from road and other campers. Sites are spread out and feel more private. Would definitely camp here again!

Unique, scenic and private
Beautiful setting, sites very spaced out and uniquely placed on the 45 acres, nice rushing creek, great views, quiet and incredibly clean and well set up outhouse. Loved our sunset hikes up the path so nicely lit by solar lights on the way down. We stayed 3 nights and were able to board our dog in nearby Hurricane and spend two great days hiking and biking in Zion NP. Loved it. Just sorry we didn’t have the opportunity to meet Matthew while there to thank him for making such a great place to stay. PS; Our dog loved chasing balls and running in the open land. Matthew's place is great!! Sites are far enough away from each other so that it feel like you have the whole place to yourself when the sun goes down!! The cleanest and also the most stocked portable toilet I've ever used in my life. I didn't take a shower, but it looked very legit when I checked it out. Peaceful and quiet. I will most certainly look to stay here again in the future!! Go Matthew!!

Beautiful property. The sound of running water, mixed with the soft sand makes for a peaceful experience. The bathroom is a simple port-a-potty that's kept clean. We didn't check out the shower. Local restaurant was pretty good. Local cows roaming the road leading to the property were a fun surprise. Enjoyed our stay for sure.

This campground has only a few sites making it a far better experience than camping with the crowds either in Zion NP or dry camping on the BLM land to the south. Matthew was flexible with my needs, allowing me to camp in his unlisted sites for two nights rather than having to move my site between nights. Greatly appreciated!
