My time at the farm was very special. I came as a female solo tent camper who has never been to Waco, and I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The farm itself is so beautiful. I felt so much peace on Regena's land, and I also felt very safe the whole time. It is a private getaway, but super close to anything you'd want to do. Close enough to run back to the campsite in the middle of the day easily if I had forgotten something. Regena as a host goes way above and beyond to make you comfortable and anticipated any needs I may had. She offered alternative accommodations when a heavy rainfall came through, and was very easy to get ahold of if I ever needed anything. She gave awesome recommendations for places to check out in Waco, one of them being one of the coolest coffee shops I've been to (you'll have to stay here and ask her to find out what it is :) Overall, I miss it there already and I hope to come back soon! Thanks for the southern hospitality Regena!

We did the primitive camping site and loved it! Grassy, wild flowers in bloom, and a good bit of privacy! We didn’t have a chance to hike a lot, but we will definitely take a longer trip next time to explore the ranch! The farm animals are a lot of fun to watch. The stargazer pad is too cool! Will definitely book that next time, especially if it’s more than just the two of us! The owners were very kind and responsive! Seriously, you can’t go wrong here!!

My 19 yr old son and I came to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and what we found was incredibly remarkable. Such a serene experience right next the mighty Brazos River. The water was flowing pretty swiftly due to flood control from the upstream lake but us and our 2 Black Lab pups just loved every minute of our time. With about 2 miles of well maintained riverfront to hike, we found ourselves just completely blown away by the beauty and serenity of God’s creation. His staff was very helpful and they made the stay very pleasant and accommodated all of our needs. I highly recommend this place to anyone and my wife and I are already in the works of planning our return trip.

Regina had a wonderful property! She went over and beyond as far as hosting was concerned. The place was beautiful and we will be back! She kept the toilet and trash cleaned constantly. 5 stars for sure!!

We went as a large group and Regina was an amazing host! We can't control the weather, but even with rain everything was great! And once the sunshine appeared it was even more amazing! We loved our weekend stay at this site! The elevated platform was nice for our tent to keep off of the dirt. Waterfall was the best white noise for sleeping. Bathroom did the job and didn’t smell bad. Electricity worked well. Treehouse was amazing! Another camper found an arrowhead, likely from the Squaw. Only drawback was the road to get to the site because it had rained and was muddy but my 2 wheel pickup had no issue. If a car can’t use the road, you will just have to hoof it. Overall great campsite.

It was peaceful and relaxing. Awesome place to explore, so many things to see. The river is beautiful and the wildlife was plentiful. Got to see and hear some wild birds to include turkeys. I highly recommend camping here. Definitely would come back. Bathroom is clean, and it's nice to have the luxury of a flushing toilet. Bring water and enjoy.

We had a great time camping at Regina's farm, it was peaceful & Regina was very sweet, friendly & accomodating. There was a chance of high wind & storm & she offered for us to leave our Travel trailer & come back for it if we needed to, luckily there was no need, we only got a little shower & all was fine, but it was super sweet of her to offer. She came to our site several times to remove trash & replace trash bag from the bin on our site & checked the compost toilet to clean it too, she even made several trips to take some of us to tour her property in her golf cart at different times, super friendly, I would definitely be back, thanks for hosting us Regina, and thank you for the sweet thank you note you left early in the morning in our truck, to find before we left at 7:30am, God bless you!

Property is on the farm where I grew up about 9 miles northeast of Glen Rose off of Highway 67. It has various trees on property with cedar, live oak, post oak, etc. Campsites are in front of a wide waterfall which is about 5 feet in height. You can fall asleep with the sound of the waterfalls! We have three ground tent sites and two 14 by 14 deck sites if you want to be up off the ground. Each site has a fire ring and electricity. There are well-marked trails across the creek which go to a meadow and a big treehouse I built several years ago. Glen Rose has several restaurants known for barbecue and Mexican food. Granbury is 25 minutes away with lots of shopping and restaurants around their historic town square. Glen Rose also has a town square.
