Nature and wildlife filled with fun and relaxation, Bee Mountain River Resort is a one-of-a-kind property. Private, spacious and beautiful, we are blessed with 1.5 miles of sandy beaches along the Brazos River where campers leave the stress and white noise of life’s hectic pace behind. Visitors enjoy our quiet and beautiful surroundings along with the good company of family and friends. And best of all, you get to play on some of the finest water in Texas for boating, fishing and water sports. Adults and kids love it here because it’s a great place to hang out, to be active, and to have some good old fashion fun. Our customers are usually groups of friends and family; many of them have camped here for years. A few even claim to have grown up on the river and, to some extent, that might be true. Bee Mountain Resort is a secluded off-the-grid campground that's been around since the '70s. And it's pretty well known to the locals. I first discovered the Brazos River back in 1985 looking for smooth water to ski on. And having developed so many great memories camping over the years, I can confidently say our resort is classic and old school. Change comes pretty slow on the Brazos.....and we happen to like it that way! Family, friends, kids and pets all love our amazing getaway; it's a rare gem best shared with good people. Every campsite is located directly on the river and all of them are huge. Firewood, ice, kayaks, paddleboards and generators are available at low prices. Great tasting water from our 500' deep well, clean restrooms and a camper dump station are located on premises. We are very pet friendly providing your pet is friendly.

Mid-Century Modern 1955 Vintage Trailer

4.1mi from Waco · 1 site
We spent nearly one year fully restoring and remodeling our 1955 Traveleze trailer just for you. Now you can experience the beauty and fun of staying in a mid-century modern vintage trailer in Waco. It's an experience you'll never forget. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and small families. We are across the street from the Arboretum, 1.3 miles from Lake Waco, and a 15 min drive from Magnolia Market. We are committed to Airbnb's nondiscrimination policy. The space Make your tiny home dreams come true - vintage style with modern touches! Our 1955 Traveleze was born and raised in Los Angeles just before getting a makeover and retiring to Texas at the age of 62-years-young. The bed is a comfortable futon opposite a padded bench seat with storage underneath with extra linens, just in case. You'll find all the pillows, sheets, and comforter in the small closet to the right of the bathroom door (the one with the clocks on it). The bathroom with shower, toilet, and extras is located at the end of the trailer behind the door with the mirror. One of the coolest pieces in the trailer is the original 1950's gas stove - that still works! Just turn on the gas and use the lighter to light the flame (let us know if you if you need help). The A/C and the electric water heater work very well. We have a dedicated parking spot for your vehicle right next to the trailer or you can park on the street, whichever you prefer. The trailer is stationed in the back corner of our backyard, but is fenced off from the rest of the yard for your privacy. There are no working security cameras on the premises. PLEASE NOTE: This is a mid-size trailer, so the shower and bed are small and may not be comfortable for guests over 5' 10". The trailer is 21 feet long, 8 feet wide, and about six feet and three inches tall on the inside. Guest access You can access the driveway, parking spot, and fenced in Trailer space. The arboretum across the street has a few miles of gorgeous trails to enjoy!

In the heart of Killeen, we have a small RV park with electric hookups and a dump station. Convenient to all amenities in Killeen and Fort Hood, we're a great option for short-term stays in the city. We're available 7 days a week, and we'd love to accommodate your stay in Killeen. These are very basic RV sites - a flat area to park with electric hookups. We don't have typical RV park amenities (tables, BBQ pits, restroom facilities, recreation options, etc). We're a bare bones option for short-term stays. This RV park is managed by the Killeen Civic and Conference Center.

Mid-Century Modern 1955 Vintage Trailer
