Pastures are mowed three times a year and always look beautiful. There is some terrain that is rough and the land has not been traveled. Bring machetes and a compass (We are not a rescue team). We had a wonderful time at Llamaland Ranch Judy was so welcoming and very responsive to our questions and requests. My daughter loved interacting with the Llamas and running around the big open spaces. We loved sitting by the fire and star gazing. We even caught a few shooting stars. The drive from Dallas was quick and easy. We will be camping at Llamaland Ranch again.

Great spot. Would recommend grabbing both spots for lots of space. Pond is awesome. Our Lab loved swimming and the fishing is good. Plenty of bass and bluegill. James was very responsive to all questions. If you need to re-supply, there is a 24-hr Exxon <5 minutes away. Don’t even have to go back into town. The boat and dock were added extras.

Weekend Trip to Llama Land Ranch

Thank you Judy and Al, me and my boyfriend loved spending 2 nights on the sanctuary lot. The trees provided the perfect amount of shade for the hot weekend. It was my first time seeing llamas and they were way bigger than I thought they would be, but they were gentle giants! One even gave me a kiss on the cheek when I wasn’t paying attention. There were cute kitties and puppies on the land as well. One small cat with orange splotches was so sweet and guarded our tent all night. We wanted to steal her so bad. There were lots of other campers there too but we were all very spread out, no noise from them at all.

1 night at Broken Bow Ranch

This was such an amazing property. We loved the horses and the spot we set up camp was beautiful as well. We did have a little trouble finding where we were supposed to set up but the host was very helpful/friendly and got us there with no trouble.
