Arison's Farm Stay

Welcome to the Airstream on Arison Farm. While you enjoy your farm stay, watch the chickens and the goats forage on our eight-acre property just five minutes from Granbury’s historic square, and two miles from the closest boat ramp. Soak in the water trough right off the porch, or lounge by the fire pit. Use our farm as home base while you explore the local wineries, breweries, restaurants, antique and junk shops and so much more that Granbury has to offer. We even offer WiFi and a smart TV.

Access to the Airstream will be in a field where we keep our goats, chickens, turkeys, and large, friendly livestock guardian dog.

Feel welcome to explore our front field, located between our driveway/parking area and the road.  We tend to leave grass here high at some times of the year for the wild flowers, but there are paths mowed around and through it.  This is where our big green houses (high tunnels) are.  The huge tree in the middle is an old native pecan.

Trickle Creek Ranch

Trickle Creek Ranch was once a dairy, we purchased it 15 years ago and it has become a hobby ranch. We are also collector's of vintage RV's and currently have a 1952 Spartanette and 1968 Chinook on the property. There are miniature horses and longhorn cattle that roam the 12 acres. We have added RV spaces to share the ranch experience with others.

Gypsy Moon Hideaway

Located at the end of the road. There is over 20 acres. Some cleared and some still in original woods. Trees, grass and deer everywhere. There is over a quarter mile of Brazos riverfront property although you cannot get to the river on all of it due to it being in its natural state. There is a beach at the main camp that provides easy in and out of the water. the water depth varies with the rainfall but is usually between 2-4 feet deep.

Inez Spring Riverfront RV Resort

Owned by Sam & Dee Williams, Inez Spring Riverfront Park was originally envisioned and

created as a family retreat.

 As the park began to take shape, the Williams' realized what a hidden gem it really

is.

 The natural spring that feeds Joshua's pond was named after Sam's mother, Inez.

 The area around Eastland is rich with local history, including Captain Eastland and the black bean, Old Rip the horned toad, The Santa Clause bank robbery, Ringling Brothers' Circus, Bonnie & Clyde,

etc.

 In addition the area is known to have had a significant prehistoric Native American population.

 In fact, Sam and Dee are curators of an impressive collection of artifacts found throughout the area.

 The park boasts 15 camp sites and a large number of picnic spots along the riverfront and near Joshua's Pond, for day use.

 The Williams Family carved out a trail system that takes hikers along the rim of rock outcrops, between the gaps of huge rock slabs, along the banks of the Leon River and through a heavy shaded canopy of red oak, pecan and cedar elm.

 There's even a small cave for the

adventurous spelunker.

 Kayaking is popular on the river and kayaks can be rented on the property.

 Admission provides a full day of fishing, hiking, swimming, boating, picnicking, bicycling, etc.  Guests can even stay overnight on primitive campsites, for an additional fee.

Interesting rock formations abound within the park.  A small cave lies just beyond this gap in the rocks.

Fuller's Folly River Ranch

Sundancer On The Brazos sits on Comanche Creek in an isolated forest

on a 350 acre working cattle ranch with a quarter mile of river frontage!

The Comanche were quite active up and down this part of the Brazos when the earliest settlers arrived around 1850, until the Comanches' eventual conquest by the Texas Rangers and their Colt pistols around 1870; we have found lots of flint and some arrowheads on high places here. Going further back in history, the Fuller's Folly River Ranch has an abundance of petrified wood, they say that if you have fossilized sea shells you were under water, but if you have petrified wood you had land creatures. Hunting for petrified wood is a fun adventure here. (But leave them for the next person to discover!)

Weatherford is only 10 minutes away and

Granbury is only 20 minutes away; both have great restaurants. And this close to Fort Worth (30min), you could actually commute and have a ranch to come home to at night--note the lower pricing mid week.

Lake Godstone™ Lodging and Camping

Connecting Families with Nature and located near Graford, Texas and Possum Kingdom Lake, our 188 acre ranch is a wildlife retreat featuring a 40 foot deep lake called Lake Godstone™ and two fishing ponds. The property features a lodge available for rent that houses 35 people, cabins, group campgrounds, tent-sites, a sports complex with basketball, soccer, volleyball and baseball practice fields, four miles of biking trails, and elevated wildlife viewing stations. There are 4 miles of dirt and rock hike and bike (non-motorized) trails and five partially covered docks with moorings and swim ladder on Lake Godstone. We rent UTV's, golf carts, pedal boats, canoes, kayaks and a row boat to help our guests enjoy the lake and the forested lake and upper wooded meadow. Our specialty is serving families and church groups. The entire campus can be rented for large groups up to 100 people. Wildlife is abundant and the spring and summer flowers are beautiful. Come and enjoy the best fire pits anywhere..... and the peace and quiet is pretty awesome a well. An Experience, not a Destination! Wifi is campus-wide and is provided at no charge.
