Wonderful, quiet place to stay. Hosts were great, Eddie is friendly and respectful. Made sure I had firewood and gate access. Very clean out toilet close by. Quick communication, Rod is very responsive.
First time solo camping and as a woman alone, I felt safe!
Once I went to bed I never heard anyone. Just quiet and peaceful.
My site was slightly off the road; serene area with fire pit. Electric outlet. Some sites have 30 amps or 15 amps for hookups.

We loved staying at this spot. Seeing the goats, donkeys, and chickens was a highlight of the trip for my kids. The family was very helpful and kind. It is a beautiful property with the rv spot next to a second garage. Easy access to the city. We would love to stay there again if we passed through. I definitely had to double check the camper before leaving to make sure my kiddo didn’t try to smuggle a goat or two home because they were so cute. Thanks so much it was a trip to remember.

Gary’s place was just right for our overnight stays. Super easy 20-minute drive to visit our kids and grandkids in Fort Worth. Gary was a great host, really enjoyed chatting with him and hearing a bit about the old dairy farm. Our two grandsons (3 and 5) stayed with us for a couple of nights and loved seeing the longhorns and exploring the property. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a great time at the daisy! It is cozy, the surrounding nature is beautiful, and Barry is so welcoming. He set up our fire, and sang/played guitar at our camp spot while our three-year-old danced around. He is genuinely interested in getting to know people. I highly recommend! I know we will be back :) side note – it is not far from Waco and there’s a lot to do there if you’re looking for fun activities!

I have a Ford Transit camper van, so I just needed a place to crash on the weekend away from the city.
I really like that even though it feels I am away from the city there are stores and restaurants 10 minutes drive from the farm.
I also appreciated they had a nice warm shower and a bathroom right by the area I parked.
The fire pit is shareable, but it seems like no one cared for it, so I had it all for me 😅

Weekend Trip to Liberty Hill Hideaway Lake Retreat
I had such a wonderful time visiting this campsite! Barry the host was just wonderful, extremely accommodating and great company. I would recommend a stay here to anyone! My boyfriend and I did a little fishing, some swimming, enjoyed music by campfire but still got to catch the clippers game ;) perfect glamping/getaway destination!

I cannot put into words how magical this place is! Barry was really nice, greeted us upon arrival and then gave us space to venture out and explore the land. He even came out with his guitar and joined us around the campfire with some good tunes (I told him I wanted to hear him play!). Just all around good vibes and will definitely be going back!
