Our tent at GLAT was everything we hoped for and more! It was so cute, comfortable and had everything we needed. The only complaint is that the people next to us were playing music the entire time and set up their volleyball net right in front of our tent and view.

Very interesting and comfortable treehouse! Very private and the tub and fire were perfect. You will hear the highway unfortunately, but it was still quite relaxing with a ton of wildlife. You can feel the love that went into building this special structure.

Weekend Trip to Stunning Dome Retreat w/Hot Tub

This was our first time using HipCamp, and what an incredible experience! Zvi and Thunder (the resident longhorn on site) were extremely responsive hosts and made sure we had everything that we needed for the duration of our stay. The geodesic dome was beautifully decorated with a sophisticated touch, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. The location was private and peaceful—a perfect getaway from the city. We loved how secluded it felt despite being a short 20 minute drive from Bastrop. One of our favorite parts was waking up to a beautiful sunrise, with the option to open the curtains and let the morning light pour in. At night, the views of the sky were absolutely stunning—perfect for stargazing and soaking in the beauty of the quiet countryside. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to unwind and recharge.

2 nights at Colorado RiverBend Retreat #CRBR

This is the perfect country retreat along the Colorado River! We stayed in the fancy river shack and the accommodations were absolutely amazing. The 1st night I used the outdoor grill which was perfect along with a fire pit evening. The host delivered two bundles of firewood immediately upon request at $10 a bundle. The second night was too windy for a fire but it was still great. The River Shack is just a short walk down to the river bank and there are two tent and camping sites close to the shore with their own amenities. All sites are peacefully and perfectly placed to provide a woodsy country private and tranquil get away feel. The River Shack itself is so attractive and the kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom are perfect and modern, and can be compartmentalized with sliding doors. Three flat-screen TVs across the jacuzzi room, living room, and bedroom were great, along with a desk area for your laptop with wifi. Last and of course, the jacuzzi room lets you know you are "Glamping" in ultimate style and country grace! I literally watched the morning news with coffee in the jacuzzi! Why not! With nature watching I saw 10 deer total throughout my stay and a Cow! My Lady and family will return one day and get some fishing done!

Me and my family loved this treehouse! It was tons of fun for the kids - there are games, puzzles, kayaks, a canoe, a cargo net, arts & crafts and a nice little "hike" on the property. The water was low but the host sent us another spot we could checkout closeby if we wanted more water- turns out there was plenty still to entertain the kids. There are pantry staples and basic seasonings, a small electric cook top thing, a few pans/pot, mini fridge, kettle, coffeemaker and a toaster oven. If you find you need something you are nearby a store (but don't worry, this is a nice isolated place. I never felt like there was anyone nearby! I did hear some loud music a couple of times at night, maybe from a neighbor? but it subsided around midnight and wasn't *too* loud.) There are 3 cute ducks that hang around and a bunch of cardinals and other small songbirds that pop up- one even greeted me in the shower, haha. The weather was perfect - especially for sleeping outside in the hanging bed. The host is super nice and will answer quickly! LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION Right by the lake! Sand tennis court, huge swimming pool, multiple cooking standing pits, clean showers and restrooms. Bring your kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and bikes. Along with everything you use for camping. Strict about keeping our fur babies on a leach. Be careful with deer the last 2-3 miles before arriving.

Everything was great. It was quiet and we had privacy. Bathroom and shower were amazing, we loved how it was set up. Huge plus that the yurt has heating and cooling. Our dogs had a blast roaming the land. Plenty of activities to keep you entertained. Some amenities could use some upgrading, but still a great stay. Would go again.

2 nights at Glat Austin at Lake Bastrop North Shore Park

The tent was in a perfect location with a beautiful view. The grounds have many areas for kids to play and lounging with shared tables, a rope hammock/bed and a dock to fish off of. The tent itself was comfortable and was equipped with much of what we needed. FRANCE had basic cooking utensils (bring tongs and a cutting board if needed) and comfortable bedding. Our kids were with us and on the reservation but extra linens weren't available for the couch or cot that was provided. We had extra so it wasn't a problem but just something to be aware of. The bathrooms were similar to those on the Southside. One room stalls with toilet, sink and then shower. Quick well lit walk from the tents. We stayed on the north side of the park and did all the loops and most of the hike to the south side. Very flat and kid friendly with lots of shade.

1 night at Lucky Arrow Retreat

These glamping cabins are nicer than some hotel rooms I have stayed in! Expect all the amenities (shower, toilet, ac, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc.) I recommend walking over to Bell Springs Brewery and Winery next door during your trip!

This is a great location for fishing, rafting/boating, or just relaxing by the river. The other sites are spread out enough that even when it was full the weekend we were there, you still feel a sense of privacy. The bath house is an extra benefit with two showers and a clean/well kept toilet, with sinks for washing up. Bridget goes the extra mile to ensure the guests are taken care of. When the guests at the b&b shack up the hill were blasting music after night fall, Bridget responded quickly to our request for them to turn down the volume. Very much appreciated that!

Beautiful location and great set up with electric outlets for each site and the camp ground hot shower and toilet are a game changer.
