Great quick getaway! All the animals were so cute, Ms Amy was very welcoming. She helped us navigate to the proper entrance and led us to our campsite. We added on wood for our stay and she brought it over to us quickly. The bathrooms were a short walk from our site. We would definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Friends in RV Spaces, definitelyexcellent value for money. Even though we were travelling in a campervan without hookups, the site had everything we needed. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the WiFi near the little red building was fast and reliable. After spending time in the big cities of Texas, it was such a refreshing change to relax in a peaceful, green space with dark night skies and true country quiet. Sam greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming. He showed us around the farm and was interesting to chat with. If you’re looking for a safe, quiet, and friendly place to stay near Fort Worth, we’d highly recommend it.

It was easy to find the location & your own numbered campsite. Each area has a clear flat space for your tent, a fire ring, and constant 12v power socket + two 2.1amp USB ports, and temporary 110ac if you enable it. There is a shared washroom with 2 stalls. One has a urinal, toilet, and shower. The has just a toilet. Outside the stalls is a sink. All the campsites are close to each other, so I imagine it would be great for large groups with their own tents. It was a quiet weekday, so I pretty much had the entire area to myself, but mostly kept to my own area. The area is a covered forest (mostly cedar, some oak) and is beautiful. You can hear the close waterfall and the distant highway. When it gets dark, there are no lights around, so plan to bring some if you want to see after sunset. You can see the stars very well if you walk towards the water. There is a hiking trail across the water. There are maps in the washroom building. There was a yellow rope to mark the trailhead. Watch your step. The meadow, trail, and treehouse are all quite lovely.

Beautiful and private! We stayed at camp site #4 because we read it was the most private our of all of them. With that though, it was the farthest from the bath house and a bit of a hike to get there (about 6-7 min walk), so we just drove if we really had to go or when it got dark and cold at night. We wished we could have stayed longer to explore the hiking paths and will definitely be back!

Beautiful and peaceful as always! We love returning to this site because it's easy to get to and the creek and land are a great place to explore and be in nature The night we stayed it was perfect weather and the moon was full so it really lit up the area. We saw deer several times and our dog lived chasing minnows in the creek. My girls think the trees are the best for climbing, especially the ones with vines you can swing on.

Wow! This place is spectacular! The waterfall is the eye catcher…but the entire set up is a whole new level of camping! Every site had power, trash cans, and the facilities were very well built! The wagon to bring your stuff from parking lot to site was a very nice touch! It was my son’s first camping trip, and this has set a very high bar! We will be back to explore the creek and enjoy the waterfall’s magic sounds!

Weekend Trip to Hideout Ridge

The entire grounds was a haven for us. My granddaughter & I came for the weekend and camped at site 4, which we loved! We hiked 1.6 miles and still didn’t get to explore all the trails. It was serene, quiet and I felt safe. We could hear cows, cocks & a train in the distance. The road to the campsites felt like you are going through a maze with the tall, bordered grass. We are so grateful that Allison has opened up her land to let us enjoy a wonderful getaway. We will be coming back for a treehouse stay in the spring, hopefully we’ll get a chance to paddleboat since it was filled with muddy water. That was what attracted me to the hideout with a little one. But our main reason for getting out to that area was to visit a state park which was full so this was the perfect & better place to stay. The bathhouse!!! Oh, the beautiful bathhouse! Even my 7 year old was fascinated by the visual elements… now I want one just like it!

Weekend Trip to Creekside Brazos Rock Camp & Kayak

Don’t be put off by the bumpy road to the property. It’s a lovely riverside (creekside ) location. It was quiet, and we were provided with water, sewer hookup and 30 amp electric. We had some questions and they were answered promptly. Great place for star gazing. We heard owls at night and lots of birdlife during the day. Possibly coyotes or foxes at night down by the creek. 😊. We spent a few hours at the nearby Mineral Springs Fossil Park and found some great fossils! Worth the trip. We are traveling from Maine to California and this campsite was a nice spot to relax for a few days. It’s rural but worth the effort to get there.

2 nights at Farm Tipi with Sauna

melissa’s spot is super cute and comfy, and she and family were very gracious and accommodating hosts despite us arriving late on xmas eve. we (2 people and an elderly dog) had everything we needed for some good rest, a campfire, and grilling a delicious dinner. melissa also had plenty of useful local tips, and WOW the breakfast sandwich was so good! would stay again 🤗

2 nights at EcoRich Ranch

Five college students camped here for three nights and it was such a great experience. The property is very spacious, peaceful, and you can tell that it's really taken care of. The night skies were probably the highlight of the stay, almost no light pollution so all were visible. Even the pit toilet was surprisingly well maintained. Wasn't expecting something so nice for a tent camping set up. The site was easy to find and set tents up after dark. Everything was peaceful and I fully recommend a stay here. We will be returning one day ❤️❤️
