The place is beautiful and Dot is a great host. We were camping during a 3 days long rainstorm. When our car got stuck on the way out, Dot kindly offered us to stay in the dome until the storm was over and the tow truck could help us. We'll come ba k again, hopefully to a drier experience.

We stayed here while visiting Texas for our friend’s Air Force graduation—it’s about 45 minutes from the base. The views were amazing and the whole area felt peaceful and private, perfect for anyone who prefers space over crowded campgrounds. Cows roam freely around the property, which was really cool to see—just watch your step for cow patties! 😆 The gravel road to the site is a bit steep and rough, so we were definitely glad to have four-wheel drive. We travel with two dogs, and the owners were super considerate—they kept their own dog in a separate yard during our stay. That made things much easier and more relaxing for us. We didn’t get a chance to try out the swimming hole, but it looked absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a peaceful, RV stay with a Texas hill country vibe!

What an incredible find! During the hot Texas summer, having a place to swim while camping is a must—and this spot delivered in every way. We’re always on the lookout for peaceful, private getaways that aren’t overcrowded, and this place checked all the boxes. Getting to our RV spot was no issue, and the hookups made everything super convenient. Our 21-foot trailer fit perfectly and was easy to maneuver. Despite there being others on the property, the layout ensured plenty of privacy and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The real highlight? The swimming hole—it was absolutely perfect! Even our pup, who uses a wheelchair, had a blast swimming and cooling off. It was heartwarming to see him enjoy it so much. One of my favorite parts was watching the baby cows roam and play. I even got the chance to feed them treats—such a special experience! We loved every minute and can’t wait to come back!

I loved staying here!, absolutely beautiful in the morning and a random rooster crowing a couple miles away from us every morning made it even better lol. Used the campfire to make s’mores, everything went smoothly. They have a cute shower, they also have toilets not far from camp at all. Super quiet I love that they have a no loud music rule, made the experience even more relaxing specially after a long week of work. Would and will come back again. :)

The cabins were super awesome! Very clean and well stocked. The roads leading up to some higher cabins were pretty steep and rocky so be weary of driving your car up there if you plan to move your stuff directly to the cabin. Other than that it is very nice and well put together, I highly recommend to anyone wanting to do outdoorsy things in the area!

We had a great time camping here. We were the only people on the entire property, so we had our run of the place. We actually ended up picking site #1 instead of #3. (The photo is of site #1). The property is big enough that even if all 6 sites were fully rented out, you would have complete privacy in whichever site you use. There's a bathroom & shower on the property which was nice & clean. It's a dirt road to sites 2-6, and I think for sites 4-6 you may be better off with a higher clearance vehicle and/or 4WD. You might be OK without it, but I'd say it's borderline through one little spot after site 3 where you cross a very small creek then drive up a hill. Overall this is a great property and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful area close to tubing rivers, New Braunfels and Gruene . The Swimming hole was the highlight for us ! Great camping spot ! The hosts were great , making sure our stay went well. Felt very safe as the property is gated. Surprisingly very little bugs/mosquitos in area where we camped

The space We love camping so much we decided to make our own Glamping experience in our backyard! The rental includes your yurt, but you get to use the common space!! In total we have 4 bell tents. Two tents have one queen bed and two have two queen beds. We provide two air mattresses to sleep total 16!! There are AC units in each of the tents to keep cool at night. Please note that the hot tub is only included if all 4 tents are booked. Our common areas include 2 showers, 2 toilets, 1 extra large sink area connected to the bathrooms, 2 grills and 4 large picnic tables, a bar and coffee station, a fire pit, hammocks and a rope swing. This space is perfect for any family celebration, reunion, birthday party, ect! It is tucked away at the bottom of the property so you get the space to yourself. IMPORTANT! There is an additional $25/yurt if you want to use the hot tub during your stay. Guest access When you arrive at our house you will park in our circle driveway and walk through the double green gates down the hill to the glampsite. (To the left past the house) The road is slippery/steep so please use the steps. Backpack recommended for easier up and down! You can roll a cooler down the (steep) road! Other things to note Each of the four bell tents are equipped with an AC unit, beds, heater, pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, electrical outlets, twinkle lights, and a lantern. This is a CAMPGROUND: NO RV, ROOM, BED, INVOLVED - BRING A TENT AND GEAR FOR COMFORT (check my other listings for an RV stay). This a "want to camp" campground and not a living solution. If you "need to camp" due to financial or other reasons, Camp EZ will likely not be a good fit for you. 6 nights maximum stay. Not suitable for very young children. Please include your child in your count. Campfires in designated area only with permission (burn ban sometimes). Bring firewood. Community vibe 'round here; everyone is expected to be quiet and respectful of one another and clean up after themselves "leave no trace" style. Six night maximum stay. This is not a KOA or a state park. This is a home hostel/campground. It's kind of rustic and we like it that way. You may see a roach, ant or cricket and you may also see a deer, fox or coyote. We are busy and not always able to visit for long. Lots of remodeling and flood related cleanup chaos here but also lots of pretty and secluded nature. Short walk to bus stop and historic Sagebrush HonkyTonk and Austin Bergstrom Airport is 9 easy highway miles away. Rustic outdoor shower/kitchen/privy. BYOTent. No wild or excessive partying here please and please remember: no smoking. WE NOW HAVE A COVERED PING-PONG PLAYING AREA !​ Other details to note: Street parking.
