Me and my group really enjoyed our time at Ranch 3232. The bathrooms are very clean and I loved the communal camping area and there was a bunch of supplies that were helping having. I really enjoyed the camping aspect and all the areas were within walking distance which was nice.

This is a beautiful site! Spent a long weekend here with a friend and we'll definitely be back! The site is described accurately on Hipcamp. The owners are great - they obviously love doing what they do. Very laid back and casual. The site is well cared for and everyone we met locally was very nice. Can't wait to come back!

We took our four year old for his first camping trip and had such a wonderful time. Using the available paddle boards was a highlight, and the backdrop of the river is spectacular. Having access to a warm shower and a very clean porta potty was also great and convenient. Would come again!

I loved staying at tent site B. It was easy to find, had a raised mulch pad for the tent, a couple of chairs, firepit, and grill. It was a short walk to the bathrooms/showers along a mulch path. Will definitely stay again when we come back to explore more.

Weekend Trip to Longhorn Getaway Campgrounds

Camp ground was very convenient for our family of 5. Kids range from 7-5 and they had a blast. The loved the swing tree, donkey, longhorns, and building a camp fire. The shower water was hot and the restroom was primitive, but clean and taken care of. Since this was our first time tent camping as a family I didn’t want to go far from home… we live in Drip and didn’t realize this place existed. We will absolutely be back in the future! Thank you!!

We were met by Al himself and given a tour of the land and then upgraded to a better spot complete with a phantastic Merry Prankster inspired bus to hang out in! Had to leave a night early but will 10/10 return!

This place is terrific. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful in guiding us to the property as it was a slight challenge to find. We had a awesome evening paddle boarding up the river, and with our tent set up a mere 5 feet away from the river I would 10/10 recommend.

We are a 2 acre community on a secret and secluded little street 5 miles due South of the capitol of TX and even closer (2.5) to the very hip SoCo area (Continental Club, Jo's Coffee, Guero's Taco Bar, El Mercado and lots more). I have 3 cats, 11 chickens, 2 little donkeys and sweet 4 mini goats here at my little and funky 'farmette' right on Williamson Creek (sometimes flowing and not really swimmable) and next to a huge wooded greenbelt with a quiet and unused nature trail. This is not a KOA or a state park. This is a home hostel/campground. It's kind of rustic and we like it that way. You may see a roach, ant or cricket and you may also see a deer, fox or coyote. We are busy and not always able to visit for long. Lots of remodeling and flood related cleanup chaos here but also lots of pretty and secluded nature. Short walk to bus stop and historic Sagebrush HonkyTonk and Austin Bergstrom Airport is 9 easy highway miles away. Rustic outdoor shower/kitchen/privy. BYOTent.
