An absolute hidden gem. From the moment you begin the drive in, you can feel the stress of everyday life melting away. The peaceful surroundings make it incredibly grounding, and it’s also a fantastic place for stargazing, the night sky out there is simply breathtaking.
We visited as a couple with our 10-year-old son, and this experience meant even more because of him. Teresa, the host, created lifelong memories for our son by teaching him real farm-life responsibilities from harvesting fresh eggs to learning about honey bees. The hands-on experience and patience she showed made a lasting impression on all of us.
The property strikes the perfect balance between preserving nature, sustainability and providing comfort. There are plenty of cozy spots to relax and connect.
And don’t miss the breakfast ! available upon request, is made entirely with 100% organic products from the farm. Absolutely delicious and prepared with so much care. The best homemade flan I've ever tasted.
We will definitely be back during blackberry season! And no need to set a morning alarm "Big Papi" the rooster will proudly make sure you’re up and ready to start the day.
More than anything, it felt like staying at a family home, warm, genuine, and welcoming. Five stars without hesitation.

Teresa was a good host. Very nice campsite. She was accommodating and made sure everything was enjoyable. The common area was accessible and had a useable sink to wash dishes or hands. Definitely will go back.

We were very pleased with our stay on Theresa's farm. She was very friendly and accommodating with any needs we may have come across. The land was so beautiful and well kept. We tent camped and had ample room for our group of 8.

Teresa's place felt quiet and sheltered. Because of the eclipse, there were multiple other campers, but we were able to camp out of sight of others between a stand of trees and a beautiful green field. The roosters start crowing pretty early in the morning, so be aware of that. Teresa's home-cooked flan with eggs from her chickens is fabulous! The warm outdoor shower was a treat. Teresa was obviously working the land and the bees, but was friendly and willing to take a break to share her knowledge and experience with visitors.

Everything was perfect! Best outdoor shower ever. Pete and Teresa were the best hosts. Incredible quiche, and the flan…just say yes! We loved the chickens clucking around. Fantastic riding right from their ranch! Thank you guys so much!

Teresa and Pete welcomed us and gave us a tour of the property to show us the amenities. We texted Teresa our eta and she sent us a code specific to us for gate access, it was nice to have that level of security and prompt, understandable communication. All the instructions and information she sent were spot on.
The farm breakfast was amazing and a great value; coffee/tea, homemade zucchini chocolate bread, bacon, mini quiches, oatmeal, farm strawberries and honey in a delicate honeycomb. So yummy and we got to hangout and talk to them about the farm and the area.
We stayed in one of the front field sites for eclipse viewing. Friendly locals would wave and honk as they drove by; Teresa told us it's a longstanding Texas courtesy to honk when you drive through a property on a ranch road.
We saw wildlife and livestock - the longhorns across the road were characters and we enjoyed watching them.
Our comfort and safety were obviously a consideration on the ranch. I really enjoyed getting to know Teresa and Pete. I will definitely be back and look forward to seeing the improvements and revival of the land.

My fiancé and I really enjoyed this campsite! This was my first time using Hipcamp and the experience went very smoothly. Our hosts were very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable, and even helped get a bonfire going later on in the evening. The site itself was nice and shaded, which was a welcome escape from the hot sun. Site amenities were clean and well maintained. It was just off the beaten path enough to feel private and remote, while still being close enough to Wimberley to make stopping for food and gas convenient. Overall we had no complaints. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys camping in a non traditional space!

It is so peaceful and authentic. Even the drive there was a literal feeling of leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind to truly get away.
The cedar smells so good. Teresa has found the right mix of leaving the natural environment undisturbed while still providing the basics needed to camp comfortably. There are ample opportunities on the property to sit and connect with your surroundings including comfortable seating and places for a campfire.

Pete and Teresa were oh so welcoming. Sweet farm with shade, a place to wash dishes, water available, the best outdoor shower ever with hot water! Butterflies are everywhere! Relaxing and warm environment. And fresh eggs, flan, and quiche are available thanks to Teresa’s brood and hard work. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts!

Wonderful welcome from Teresa. Lots of spots to pick. We managed in a 24' motorhome in a staging spot but may be tricky foe bigger vehicles. Really close to Jacobs Well. Thank you for the flan.

I had a wonderful experience. I liked the whole concept of the berries, bees, and chickens. It was very windy the day I arrived and Teresa was very kind and offered to let me stay in the barn loft and use the air mattress. The breeze was amazing coming through the loft and it almost felt like I was sleeping in a treehouse. She was very helpful in recommending activities in the area and she and her husband even invited me to join them to hear a local band play. I did join them and had a fabulous time. I plan on returning again soon!

Beautiful spot and Teresa was extremely kind showing me the property. ( this usually doesn’t happen with Hipcamp spots!)
As a women traveling by her self, felt very comfortable and safe.

This was a great place to camp! I really enjoyed being on a real working ranch. The host was super friendly & knowledgeable about everything local. Camp site was private enough to feel like you were out on the range. Can’t say enough good things about the stargazing! 10/10 would return.

I really liked Teresa’s deep knowledge about her land and how the land was a part of its larger environment. The bee tour was really insightful and I enjoyed getting to see how the bee boxes work! Teresa was really accommodating for me being late and was ready to take care of anything her guests might not have or forgot. I definitely would like to go back soon!
