It has various trees on property with cedar, live oak, post oak, etc. Campsites are in front of a wide waterfall which is about 5 feet in height. You can fall asleep with the sound of the waterfalls! We have three ground tent sites and two 14 by 14 deck sites if you want to be up off the ground. Each site has a fire ring and electricity. The camp grounds are very nice and fairly well thought out. A little difficult to know where to go but once you figure out the layout it's a little easier. I love that it was just a short walk from most of the campsites to the restrooms. A little more info about what to expect and also where the showers were located would help. Showers were fair except the wooden backsplash was kinda gross. Oh well. I'm just glad there were showers with hot water etc. Would def recommend and will def return

We were very close to the showers and the toilet. There was a large trashcan right at the campsite. Even though the hipcampers were relatively close to one another in proximity, the cedar grove of trees provided a lot of privacy, it was very peaceful and quiet the Sat night we stayed.

Sherwood was a very accommodating and communicative host. The grounds were very clean and just as described. The water park was inactive due to the off season, and staying here made us want to come back when the park is fully operational. Great location only about 16 min to the Stockyards. Would definitely stay again!

Friendly and welcoming. Nice showers, laundry facilities, bathrooms and common kitchen area. Owners were friendly and welcoming and even offered to help us with some of our travel trailer issues that popped up.

Weekend Trip to Alexander Creek RV and Campground

I have nothing but positive things to say about Wendy and Kevin. They are super nice people and came by as I was getting checked in to make sure I got settled. When I accidentally left something at my site, Wendy reached out to me and we were able to get my items back to me. I am looking forward to my next trip to the area and will definitely be staying there again. The facilities clean and well kept. The grounds were beautiful. I arrived in the dark and it was nice to make up to the rolling, tree-covered hills.

A great little RV park. Dirt road in is a little rough, and no store, but great hookups and quiet. Wendy is a great host, and even have me ice out of her refrigerator when we ran out! I'd definitely stop there agian

The park is clean and everyone is so welcoming! Within walking distance of Dinosaur World Lots of activities for all ages. Pools are very nice —a little cold—but nice! The sites are great with full hookups and nice grass area
