Glamping vintage trailers are available too, and are also fully furnished with electric, kitchens and bathrooms, and sleep 2-3 people each.
Or bring your own small to mid-size RV, tent, or car/truck/van and pick a cool cleared or primitive site of your choice, camp anywhere. We also have 3 electric 30 Amp hookup available.
The camp is surrounded by farms and ranches, wineries offering music options (one is dog friendly!). Lake Conroe is 20 minutes to the east.
Amenities include a cowboy pool, courtyard seating and camp fire pit, hot showers, bathrooms (currently port-a-potties), fiber wifi, and a potable water/filling station/wash station.
We are in the customer service business, meaning we make it easy to camp (and celebrate!) with our beautiful 4-season canvas glamp tents and glamp vintage trailers. Just drive up to your tent and get ready to relax. All tents are fully furnished with made beds and critical supplies, and have picnic tables, chairs around the fire rings, firewood, and charcoal grills. Our premier platform tents also have electric, heat, Keurig coffee pots, coffee and more! Vintage trailers have everything you need as well inside and out. Reservations are available on both Hipcamp and Airbnb. We even offer to decorate for you in advance for special celebration occasions.

The Magnolia is a great place to escape from the city. Some of the wildlife you may see or hear are cows, squirrels, rabbits, owls, coyotes and our free range chickens. We do ask that you give us a heads up if you plan to brings dogs so we can keep them in their coop for the day.

This is our family farm, though you probably will not see us much. The campsite is located on a corner of the property on Cummins Creek and once you get there you will feel secluded in nature. Matt grew up here swimming, fishing and exploring in this creek...the creek has taught him more about life than anyone ever could. I hope that you too can understand why we always walk alway feeling like this is a very special spot! Our four-night stay at Site 19 was honestly one of the most peaceful and refreshing experiences we’ve had in a long time. The scenery was absolutely beautiful — quiet mornings, incredible sunsets, and a level of serenity that’s hard to find anywhere else. The site itself felt private, spacious, and perfectly tucked into nature without feeling isolated.
Every night around the campfire felt relaxing and memorable, and the atmosphere throughout the ranch was calm, welcoming, and incredibly well-kept. Whether we were fishing, hiking, or just sitting outside enjoying the sounds of nature, it felt like the perfect escape from everyday stress.
If you’re looking for a place to truly disconnect, recharge, and enjoy Texas countryside at its best, Site 19 at 5D Ranch is absolutely worth it. We’re already talking about coming back.

5D is so close to home yet it feels so remote. This site was very large and surrounded by dense woods so it felt very secluded and private. The trails and sites are well maintained. We spent a great weekend here with friends and the kids loved exploring the trails.

My daughter and I rented The Happy Place for a few nights and it couldn't have been more perfect. Everything was set up so nicely in the glamping tent and the location was private, wooded and very quiet. Dana was very courteous and helpful and I'd highly recommend staying here ---I'll be back for sure.

I had a great experience at this campsite for second time. The area was clean, well-maintained, and felt safe the entire time. The sites were spaced out enough to give some privacy, which made it really relaxing. I especially liked how quiet it was at night—perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. Absolutely loved camping at 5d ranch!!
We had another camp site we were supposed to stay at but a tree fell over that campsite so very short notice we booked a spot at 5D ranch and they were very accommodating for us and we are greatly appreciative of it. The campsite was perfect. So many trees so was very shaded and having that seclusion as well being tucked back. The pond was awesome as well, we were able to take the boats out and had an amazing time! Absolutely loved it and are definitely coming back again!

Great little spot for just a weekend! Host were very friendly and accommodating. There was 9 of us in the cabin, and 3 of them were teenage boys! You might want to bring an extra fan or 2 for the bunk bed room. Bring games to play for indoors and outdoors.

5D ranch is a charming campground with a mixture of forest and meadow. The directions were clear, the host friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms far better than a porta potty.
Site 22 specifically is set just inside the edge of the treeline and has a view across the meadow. The bathroom is a short walk across the meadow. The ground is sandy and even after several days of heavy rain we didn’t have trouble with puddles or mud. There are no other campsites within 100 ft of site 22. There is plentiful shade, trees for hammocks, flat ground for a tent, and a centrally placed fire ring. We didn’t have trouble with bugs or ants.
Our kiddos did the “meet the ponies” and “feed the chickens” experiences and said that they had a great time. Overall we had a good experience and would stay here again

The ranch was a great place for our 3-night stay with our dogs. The site we chose (#9) was secluded and large - big enough for a family gathering. It was mostly shaded, which was great for keeping cooler on warm days. We noticed a lot of variety in the types of sites available - some on the smaller side, some very large, some remote, some in more open areas - so anyone should be able to find the right spot for their needs. The main bathroom (no electricity/hot water) was clean and well-kept. We enjoyed the trails, and even enjoyed getting a little lost in the woods! The host was friendly and efficient. I'd recommend it and would definitely go back.

This was our first camping trip with our toddler, and I couldn’t have found a better spot!
The property is peaceful, beautiful, and well kept. Julie took great care of us. Site 17 is secluded and surrounded by shade trees, close walk to an outhouse, and has easy access to trails. The lake is not far at all, and our son loved fishing, the boats, and just throwing rocks in the water.
We will definitely be back.
