Our Campsites are set up along the LSHT between Trailhead 3 and 4, in the Pole Creek trail area. We have 7 campsites and 1 cabin that sleeps 4. The campsites all have fire pits. Enjoy a weekend getaway on this 7.6 acres primitive land. Sunsets and star gazing are amazing here. Bring your tent and setup in 2 different camp areas or wherever you prefer. Fires are permitted in the fire pits that are provided in two different areas of the land. Our land is divided in the middle where you are able to park. Bikes and atvs are welcome, there are trails for walking, a small hill by the pond that you can easily hike and open areas where atvs can fit all around the perimeter of the property. If an area isn’t open don’t attempt to use for your own safety. You can gather firewood from branches or trees that are laying around the property. Please do not cut or harm any trees. Because this is a primitive camping site there is no water or electricity. Make sure you bring your own drinking water or water for any personal use. Compost Bathrooms will have some water for showering but if this runs out you will have to provide your own, these bathrooms are covered with 3 walls but are pretty private a few feet away from the campsites. There is a pond towards the back of the property. This is collected rain water and it just sits there, there are small fishes in there but we suggest no swimming as it can have bacteria. We usually walk around it with rain boots. By the pond you will be able to see lots of beautiful birds while relaxing in the various chairs provided as well as a swing. Trash bins are not provided so please carry out your trash. Please help us to maintain our land clean. Since there is so many acres we are still in the process of cleaning out what the other owners left behind. We do have neighbors so please be mindful. Cows also roam around the property but are separated by a fence but you do hear them once in a while and sometimes you can see them up close. These cows do not belong to us so please let them be. A train passes near by too so keep that in mind. Any other questions you may have feel free to message me and I will respond as soon as possible. There is phone reception in this area so you don’t have to worry about losing cellphone service. *if you are bringing any pets keep in mind that if you wish to keep them off leash we are not responsible for any harm. Our pond is charming and the focal point of the camping adventure. We have a paddle boat and an electric john boat to toodle around in. Want to go fishing? The pond is stocked with bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill and perch. There is also a small island we call “Angel Island” that you can fish from or just sit on the deck with your favorite beverage and enjoy the view. Paula is so sweet and accommodating, very quick to return calls and messages. The site has its own style of charm and feels very private and secluded. The dock is big and we had one of the best star gazing nights ever. Really big sky! The road noise is the only negative which I read in other posts. It seemed like background noise to me but kept others awake. Overall We had a great time. Thanks Paula!

We had a great 2 night stay at Circle C Campground essentially inside the Sam Houston National Forrest. The park trails began 50 yrds from our campsite. The sites themselves were very large, and there are only 7 total campsites, so it felt very spacious. There was a lot for the kids to do and they roamed freely with no worries from mom or dad about them all weekend. Terry was very friendly and has spared no expense improving the property to allow campers to enjoy it. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed staying here. There was no cell service on my phone (AT&T), which meant it was quiet. Terry returned my text message in a decent amount of time when I had a question about the site. I really liked the fact that there was a stack of firewood at each site.

Excellent camping spots offering privacy and convenience. We set up camp near the pond, which has lovely views and multiple great spots for tents. The toilet were near the camp sites, but far enough away to offer privacy. The dogs absolutely loved being off leash and running around the pond. There is a little bit of traffic noise, but overall a wonderful stay.

Me and my two friends had a blast at this site. Awesome level ground for pitching a tent. Water for cleaning dishes and what not. Electric electricity if you need it. We attempted to try and find the little creek during the night time but we got too scared. Kept hearing stuff running around.
