We have always enjoyed camping, scuba diving and travel... anything outdoors. We made a promise that If ever given the chance to share that joy with others we would and make it a great experience. We searched and searched looked at a lot of properties North of the Woodlands, to build our home. On a Saturday morning, my husband told me about a dream of 3 very tall and Magnificent Trees, soaring way up in the sky. A few days later we were walking through the forest looking at a 20 acre tract of land for sale with our realtor, I'm thinking, "oh how would we ever get this cleared, this is a lot of work" Then, up ahead was a clearing and right in the middle were 3 of the tallest, most magnificent Cedar trees. This is a lovely campsite and Melanie is very kind and attentive. My husband and I went on our first camping trip here and absolutely loved it. She greeted us with fresh eggs and a smile on her face :) would definitely come again and recommend to others.

The cabin was very clean. We loved that it came stocked with anything needed in a kitchen (pots, pans, cutlery, paper towels, etc.) The pool was awesome and it is so nice that they have a restaurant on site. My family of 4 and our 2 dogs had a great time here and we will be back.

It’s a very nice new place with a great pool and lake views. It’s a very big park and we were there in a Class C on a slow weekend. It had a very nice kids playground and a venue for a live band or performance that was near the pool. We had an afternoon snack at the Restaurant that was good. It’s very much a bar type food restaurant. The water and ice tea had an odd taste like the water softener put too much salt in it. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. There was a pool swim up bar that was staffed from the inside restaurant bar, but it was a light weekend as the park and pool were not very busy. The RV sites were long and plenty wide. I was in a section with only 3 RV’s near by and the pedestal voltage was only 111 volts on the 30a circuit. While sufficient for my stay could be a problem if they were very full in the heat of summer. The Dumpster was in the far corner of the park which is large. They could probably use a bit more lighting through out. I had to use a flash light to get to the dumpster at night.
We will definitely be back. Next time in our Class A to test out the 50a service.
It might be interesting to see if the pool or restaurant can handle the capacity if the park was full. There are a lot of sites

It was hard to leave this place. They have a way of just making you feel at home. She gave us some jam she made and honey from her bees. Then a dozen eggs. Just the sweetest person. When we left she texted us places we should visit. But the truth is we just wanted to stay there lol the land is peaceful. Our kids 1&3 enjoyed trampoline and swimming! Did i mention she's thw sweetest person! Husband is super laid back! WE WILL BE BACK.

This was an absolute perfect little getaway. We chose the rustic tent area and pitched ours in a quiet little spot. We were a little late getting started from home and did not arrive until after the office was closed but I called and the office staff laid out very clear instructions on what I needed to do upon arrival to ensure we were all checked in. Amazing prices for both camping and the kayak rentals and an awesome staff that went above and beyond the ensure that we enjoyed our stay. We’ve already been chatting about our next visit to the area and are 100% looking at rebooking at this location.

There were a few minor hiccups due to the age (2 mos.) of the establishment. The amenities were clean and organized. Unfortunately, the arcade was not up and running yet, but I'm sure will be nice as well. The pool and swim up bar were a great way to beat the heat and the on-site restaurant was really good!

We had a really good time. The directions are very clear and it was easy to find the place. Melanie greeted us upon arrival and checked on us quite regularly along with her husband. She brought us fresh eggs, honey, rosemary and onions that we cooked with during pur stay. The kids enjoyed the goats and dogs and all the other animals there.
We tent camped alongside my parents RV and had plenty of space. The tank had fish too that was fun as well.
Would definitely recommend to all my friends and family.

Nice rv resort, it’s a patch of grass to set up a tent with a fire pit. Tent sites are close together, but it wasn’t busy. Very friendly staff.

Melanie was an amazing host from the jump. She met with us as soon as we pulled in and told us about all the amenities the campgrounds had. It was a beautiful land with a nice pond in the middle. We fished, star gazed, went on a nice walk, and made a nice fire. It was the perfect getaway for my wife and 2 children. Ages 8 & 3.

Absolutely perfect! We lived it, my 2 year old nephew got to pick fresh eggs. And couldn't stop talking about the foats and pigs, and had his first ride on a pattle boat. So relaxing! Melanie is an amazing host, they really took care of us. We will defetely go back to enjoy this place again. Love it! ❤️
