We are only 2 miles from Big Stone Lake, or within 4 miles you can kayak whetstone creek (weather/water level permitting). We have kayaks available for rent. Also this location is only 2 miles from gourmet bar and restaurants on the lake, and additional walking trails.
We can also provide farm fresh eggs for your meal, or for additional fee cook breakfast or grill gourmet meals by request.

Weekend Trip to Pleasant Valley
We had the absolute best weekend tent camping here! Our dogs didn’t want to come home and neither did I! So lush and green, lots of convenient firewood/water/ a clean bathroom! Fish jumping in the creek and lots of birds and a huge heron that frequented the creek! Steve was a 10/10 host who made us feel very comfortable and took such good care of this spot. I almost didn’t want to leave a review so it would be our secret 😉

What a little slice of heaven! We could not have been happier with this location! A quainte and quiet creek-side spot tucked away, while still close to civilization and just a short drive to Lake Cochrane. Steve was so friendly and takes excellent care of this spot and even provided free fire wood/water/clean bathroom with a shower which we greatly appreciated! We will definitely be back!
We experienced a couple of wood ticks but special care and tick collars for the dogs all but solved that issue.
