Black Hills Vista RV Park Campground is one of the oldest campgrounds for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. We are located in Sturgis, South Dakota, and we are open from April through October.
The campground is perched on top of a hill and has spectacular views of the Sturgis and the Black Hills area. We are just two miles from the legendary Sturgis Main Street with very easy access to I-90, Boulder Canyon, Vanocker Canyon, and other Black Hills attractions.
We have a variety of lot campsites especially lots with spectacular views of the beautiful Black Hills. Our campsites feature full-service hook-ups including water, sewer, 30/50 amp electricity, and WIFI that actually works.

Kurt is an amazing host in more ways than one. After I texted him saying we were set to arrive in our RV in the middle of the night, he gave detailed instructions on where to park. Not only that, but he congratulated us via text after he awoke on the good job of parking in the dark, since we had already left for the Buffalo Round up in our car. We reserved the site for two weeks but our son was with us and he was anxious to get home after being away for months hiking the Continental Divide Trail. We left after only five days and Kurt graciously agreed to refund us. He was so understanding and even spoke to my husband in person.
The site is amazing because it is in the middle of the countryside with no other RVs. Accommodations were excellent...great wifi. We highly recommend this host/site and hope to return in the future.

This was a great little place to spend a few days. Kurt was very friendly and also very accommodating. I give this hip camp, a 4.9 out of five. The reason why I wouldn’t go to a five it would’ve been nice to have a shower. That said I still signed up to rent the spot, knowing that they did not have it.

Kurt’s land is beautiful. He graciously helped me get my trailer properly positioned and offered any other assistance I might need. I had a little trouble getting to the location, but that was due mostly to my fear of getting stuck somewhere I’d have to turn around. On a previous trip I’d ended up on a dead end road and it took some time to get out of it so I was gunshot.

What a welcome stop this was. Beautiful, peaceful and private. This was our 6th stop on a 12 stop 3000+ mile road trip and one we have enjoyed the most. We started in the southwest where most of the campsites we had were on dirt or gravel.
Kurt was super easy to communicate with, very responsive and he met us at the driveway to direct us to our spot.
We would definitely pick this place again if we are in the area.

Beautiful stop and conveniently located! Cousins used the property next to us and it worked out so nicely for us. Kurt was in touch whenever we needed him and stopped to chat often, which was fun for our group! Our well behaved dog was well received which helped us a lot!
