We bought this Airstream in 2022 as an old shell. It was junky and a mess, and not much in it other than old scraps and junk. We renovated it in 2022 and 2023, and turned it into a cozy, midcentury modern style Glamper. We tried to plan for every comfort you could want or need, from wifi and a smart TV, to a cute bathroom, Keurig and an Air Fryer. We hope you love it as much as we do. Please note, it is tight quarters, especially for more than two people and large framed people. For this reason, we only allow two guests. We live on a busy street, but the backyard is peaceful and serene. The airstream is parked next to our creek, where waterfowl abound. Only one vehicle allowed.

Bug spray is highly encouraged during warmer months.

Our family restaurant is a local favorite and offers fried, fresh-caught catfish. We are open for three meals most days. You can have a hot breakfast starting at 6:00 am and be on the water or in the woods at sunrise. We will even cook your catch!

This was a roomy, clean and super quiet marsh-side campsite for our rigs! Though we usually boondock it, it was nice to have an on-site bathroom and shower that was WARM, this was especially helpful since one of us brought their 3 year old daughter. Speaking of warm, there was ample firewood onsite, and even though we brought our own, we found ourselves using a few pieces over time. When we got bored of staring out over the marsh, it was nice to wander from the campsite down the small road and around the saltwater pond.
Captain John was awesome enough to text a picture of the entrance and all necessary instructions which made getting there and. Getting setup super simple.
We will be coming back to stay again in the near future.

We're Charleston locals and wanted to do something fun and spontaneous and be out in nature.
We took our SUV out there, spent the evening grilling steaks over the fire, enjoying the hot tub, and watched a movie in the gazebo before sleeping in the back of our SUV.
This place has everything:
- firewood on site to purchase
- water and electrical hook ups
- high speed internet
- Smart TV under a bug-screened gazebo, so you can eat and chill while watching a movie
- fully furnished bathroom with a washer/dryer if you need to run laundry or just dry off your towels after the hot tub
- outdoor shower with hot water
It was a really cool date night and gave us a chance to get away from work and the city for a quiet night by the fire

The Sanctuary at Edisto river is amazing! I originally booked just a few days during Christmas, but I loved it so much that I extended my stay through New Years. Dustin was very welcoming and engaging, while also giving us space to enjoy the property.
My favorite parts were:
- The beautiful outdoor shower with a rain shower head.
- Access to FREE laundry in an inviting and well designed bath house.
- The Gazebo was fabulous! Loved relaxing on the sectional couch while watching TV and enjoying the beautiful view of the river and large patio.
I would 100% go back again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique glamping experience.

Spending the night in our small RV at Dustin’s Edisto River RV resort was way beyond our expectations. There are only two sites on the property so privacy and seclusion are excellent. The restrooms facilities are VERY nice and are shared between the two sites. It was very cold during our stay (21 F) so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the screened in cabana with sofa and tv during our stay but did get to enjoy cozying up to the fire pit in the Adirondack chairs. Can’t say enough good things, will be returning soon for a longer stay and use the kayaks to paddle on the Edisto. Our beagle loved the trail down to the river.

My group of three (and pups) loved camping out at Capt. John’s place! It was such a peaceful location with breathtaking views. It’s the perfect location to take in the Carolina sunrise and sunset. The bathhouse was a great amenity to have. Capt. John was a standup host who was quick to respond to any and all questions. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful place to take in coastal nature. We will certainly be back!

My family stayed two nights at the magnolia site. The site was clean and tent safe, we didn't need a tarp to protect the bottom from small brush or rocks. There was a nice camping toilet that was clean and right on site. Only interacted with host to buy eggs for breakfast but that was our choice, the host was friendly and I'm sure wouldn't mind more interaction if a camper needed it. Love the fact that they are a small farm providing non commercial goods to their community. We felt safe and secure in this site. Remember that this is a working farm and there will be farm noises. Thank you for hosting us.

This location is unreal and a true gem. Stunning water views and incredible stargazing. Care is put into this site - from the cleared camping space, dedicated fire pit and picnic table, and the well equipped outhouse (towels, toiletries, bug spray, water bottles, organic gummy bears - you name it). This site truly exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to come back.

Had such a great stay here, I don’t think the pictures do it justice! Very private, beautiful views and the best Hipcamp bathroom I have ever experienced by a mile. By 10 miles! I really appreciated and was impressed by the included towels and extra toiletries offered. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to camp in the Beaufort area. We drove up from Jacksonville and it was well worth the trip, thanks for a great stay!
