Your site backs up to the Edisto Beach State Park where there are miles of amazing hiking and biking trails running through the maritime forest, and while on the trails you can visit the State Park's Environmental Learning Center to take part in their incredible interactive exhibits and learn about the natural history of the island and it's sea life. You will definitely want to spend time exploring or just relaxing on the beautiful beaches teaming with seashells. If you have a boat, feel free to bring it with you when you come, we are very close to the Live Oak Landing boat ramp where I took the picture of the sunset. As the day winds down to an end you can relax by a campfire or just head inside and kick back and watch a movie from the library of dvd's that are available. The farm was once a portion of the McTureus Plantation. Tony's family members were once enslaved on the plantation. Upon Emancipation a family member bought land and it remained in the family. Tony is a descendant of those family members whose foresight allowed us to be here today. Tony's parents entrusted the care and preservation of the property to us and we are doing our best to be good stewards and teach the value of this property to our children and young grandchildren.

What a gorgeous farm! The pigs and fowl were so sweet, and the nanny goat seemed to like us! Emily and I were so so happy and honored to find such a special place! My family stayed two nights at the magnolia site. The site was clean and tent safe, we didn't need a tarp to protect the bottom from small brush or rocks. There was a nice camping toilet that was clean and right on site. Only interacted with host to buy eggs for breakfast but that was our choice, the host was friendly and I'm sure wouldn't mind more interaction if a camper needed it. Love the fact that they are a small farm providing non commercial goods to their community. We felt safe and secure in this site. Remember that this is a working farm and there will be farm noises. Thank you for hosting us.

We stay here every year...it never disappoints! Ron is a thoughtful and kind host...the property is well maintained, beautifully decorated,and is stocked with everything you need to have an excellent experience! Ron has added a new covered swing, which we loved and replaced several items to ensure proper working order (new grill and outdoor table/chairs). I chose this site the first year because it's pet friendly...we have returned each subsequent year because we absolutely love this place and feel so comfortable here with our Siberian Huskies!

We enjoyed our stay at Belinda's farm! The owners were very pleasant and the animals were enjoyable to watch. The site was large, away from the home, and a perfect getaway. We rode bikes about 30+ minutes to the beach (along the highway and across the bridge) to the state park and had a wonderful beach day! There are several local restaurants and activities for things to do. Overall, easy site, flat, large, all amenities as stated. Thank you for Belinda and Tony for the opportunity to get away! We enjoyed meeting you and your animals!

Weekend Trip to Edisto Island Vacation Rental RV
Ron was an excellent host, greeting us at the campsite when we arrived! He even had firewood chopped up and everything. Ron helped us find an easy bike rental so we could explore the island on bike. Botany Bay is a close car ride away and beautiful at sunrise, as is sunset at the pier on state park land. Everything we were looking for in a summer camping trip: seclusion, great fire pit, and a necessity for June/July in SC: air conditioning. Such a good time! Thanks Ron!

We had a wonderful stay at Belinda and Tony’s campsite! The site itself was private, clean, and felt very safe, and had a convenient bathroom tent. Plenty of space, picnic table, and a fire pit. Before we departed we got the farm tour and fresh breakfast. The hosts were very welcoming, and it was cool to hear all history of the land. My favorite part was all the animals - so many farm birds, and a very friendly cat, Mimi. We’d definitely stay again if we’re ever in the area. Thank you!!

Directions were easy to follow and campsite was easy to find. Belinda's husband, Tony, stopped by as we were getting settled in to make sure we were all set. The mosquitoes left us alone after we got a fire started. We could here a rooster nearby in the morning, but otherwise very quiet and peaceful! We would definitely stay again and check out the area.
