It’s a known fact that the Airstream camper is in a class by itself, and a 1972 Airstream Ambassador that's 90% original is a rare treat. Our girl is one incredible aluminum land yacht that we've christened "Silvia" after a hit song of '72 - Silvia's Mother" by Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show, and because, well, she's silver. She's been well cared for over the past 50+ years, and only the things that really matter have been updated - bathroom, larger instant water heater, new AC, microwave, fridge, Keurig coffeemaker, memory foam mattresses with latex toppers, dedicated WiFi, surge-protected USB outlets – but as far as everything else, from the '70s vintage cookware, utensils, linens, books, games, puzzles, and many '70s music CDs to discover, you'll really dig her vibe.
GUEST ACCESS
Guests have a gated private double entrance/exit driveway. The entire guest area is fenced/gated, guests have access to the lower property where the ponies are, seating on the bridge for a. m. coffee or p. m. libation. Beware though - the ponies may come begging for a sip.
If you do enter the lower property to hang out with the ponies or check out our mini farm, PLEASE REMEMBER TO 1) close the gate behind you, 2) make sure the kids and pets are always under your direct supervision.
HOST INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We live in the house on the property, but unless you need us for something you won’t see us at all, and we won't disrupt your stay. You may see us coming and going, feeding the ponies, doing yard work, etc., but we like our space and quiet living, so we won't invade your portion of the property during your stay.

We're just off a 2-lane country road that the local folks use as a cut-through during the morning and evening rush hours, so traffic can pick up a little then, but it quickly settles to typical country road traffic for much of the time, ebbing off to intermittent during the evening and overnight.

This unique farmhouse style home is a great choice for travelers and an excellent venue for gatherings by local residents. It has easy access but the property has abundant trees and is secluded from nearby roads and homes for privacy. The interior, baths, and kitchen are updated but maintain a pleasant farmhouse feel. The host had it perfectly clean and well stocked. It has a bonfire pit and a smaller fire pit for outside gatherings and the hot tub was immaculately clean, heated, and ready for use when we arrived. Kids can enjoy swings and slides. We used it for a small gathering where about a dozen guests gathered during the day and six spent the night. Could not have been happier with property or hosts.
Fireworks are legal and permitted within reasonable hours. Horses are welcome.

Our girl is one incredible aluminum land yacht that we've christened "Silvia" after a hit song of '72 - Silvia's Mother" by Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show, and because, well, she's silver. She's been well cared for over the past 50+ years, and only the things that really matter have been updated - bathroom, larger instant water heater, new AC, microwave, fridge, Keurig coffeemaker, memory foam mattresses with latex toppers, dedicated WiFi, surge-protected USB outlets – but as far as everything else, from the '70s vintage cookware, utensils, linens, books, games, puzzles, and many '70s music CDs to discover, you'll really dig her vibe.
GUEST ACCESS
Guests have a gated private double entrance/exit driveway. The entire guest area is fenced/gated, guests have access to the lower property where the ponies are, seating on the bridge for a. m. coffee or p. m. libation. Beware though - the ponies may come begging for a sip.
If you do enter the lower property to hang out with the ponies or check out our mini farm, PLEASE REMEMBER TO 1) close the gate behind you, 2) make sure the kids and pets are always under your direct supervision.
HOST INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We live in the house on the property, but unless you need us for something you won’t see us at all, and we won't disrupt your stay. You may see us coming and going, feeding the ponies, doing yard work, etc., but we like our space and quiet living, so we won't invade your portion of the property during your stay.

This unique farmhouse style home is a great choice for travelers and an excellent venue for gatherings by local residents. It has easy access but the property has abundant trees and is secluded from nearby roads and homes for privacy. The interior, baths, and kitchen are updated but maintain a pleasant farmhouse feel. The host had it perfectly clean and well stocked. It has a bonfire pit and a smaller fire pit for outside gatherings and the hot tub was immaculately clean, heated, and ready for use when we arrived. Kids can enjoy swings and slides. We used it for a small gathering where about a dozen guests gathered during the day and six spent the night. Could not have been happier with property or hosts.
Fireworks are legal and permitted within reasonable hours. Horses are welcome.

Angler's & Vacationer's! Welcome to our Brand New constructed Cottage located at Lake Hartwell at Broyles Landing and Recreation Area in SC. This private cottage is located within a 5-minute walk or a 1-minute drive down to Broyles Landing and Recreation Area on the big water of Lake Hartwell just off SC Hwy 24 & I-85, and Angler's, it just across from Green Pond Landing and Portman's Marina.
For you Angler's, make plans to stay at the Cottage, bring your boats and put in at Broyles Landing for some fishing Tournaments.
For the family get a wayer's, The Recreation Area has parking, grills, picnic tables, a roped off swimming area, fishing dock, playground area and a public restroom.
If you're visiting for a Clemson or Anderson college game, you are only 20 minutes away from both areas.
The Cottage! It is equipped with all you basic everyday essential.
The Kitchen - is a fully functional kitchen with Oven, Microwave, full size Refrigerator/freezer with Ice maker, Air Fryer, Crock Pot, Coffee Maker, Pots, Frying pans, Cooking, Eating and Baking utensils.
Living Room - Queen size leather sleeper/sofa couch and a leather recliner, setup to watch TV (Live sports and etc.).
Private Bedroom - Queen size bed, walk in closet, & ceiling fan.
Ladder/Loft - with 3 XLg Twin sized beds for hanging out, reading, or just snoozing.
Bathroom - large walk in shower, tall toilet and nice sized vanity and mirror.

Great spot not to far off route 25 but far enough you don’t hear the road. I personally Car camped and camp site 1 was perfect because you get your own parking area. Pup friendly! The host was super helpful with suggestions in the area. If you are traveling with a pup make sure to stop at the Carl Sandburg NPS site for a Bark ranger Badge! It’s less than 20 mins away and a great place to walk your pup! Would definitely stay again if I’m ever in the Flat Rock area!

Weekend Trip to Cold Spring Basecamp
peaceful, and easy to find. We loved out little winter escape to the A-frame. We brought in our own water so we didnt have to filter. The toilets are great! Everything is so well keep up.

This was a spur of the moment stay and turned out good. It is a little difficult without running water to the cabin with kids (there is a bath house with restrooms within walking distance). The cabin itself was beautiful, we stayed in number 1. There are 4 of them very close by, so if you are seeking privacy it won't be here. Across the cabin is a fenced in area for the farm animals. We did not check that out due to timing of other plans, but is probably cool for the kids. We were able to have a campfire which was really nice to have. All in all, if you are just needing a spot to sleep id recommend it, not so much for hanging out, especially with younger kids. I have a 10 and 4 year old.
The drive way is paved most of the way, lots of twists and turns. We arrived after sundown so it was a little challenging finding but nothing crazy.

2 nights at Cold Spring Basecamp
I was looking for a place to disconnect and do a little writing and couple of days at Bill's Cabin did the trick. If you don't mind limited electricity and cell service as well as fetching your water from a spring, this rustic cabin is the perfect place to escape and enjoy some downtime. Hartwell was extremely accommodating and with a good sleeping bag, it was plenty warm in late November. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay here at the tent site. As a solo traveler I felt my site was private but knowing that there were others right up the hill was very comforting. The host was wonderful. She took me right down to my site. Loads of firewood and a shelter if it rains. And the hot showrrs was such a plus. Such a great spot to explore the area. I will definetly be back. Loved it!

What a lovely, welcoming spot Mark and Esther have. We (my bf, pooch and I) spent two nights in our 18.5' camper trailer here in Techno RV Site #2 and it was quite perfect. We had no neighbors camped near us (mid-November and mid-week) so we felt like we were alone in the woods. But there are nice tree/shrub barriers between each site so I think it would have been fine if there had been. The bathhouse was clean and had everything you needed (including a timed heater and unlimited hot water) and the hiking trails on the property were a great place to walk the dog in the morning before setting out on our adventures. Communication was great from the hosts and they were there waiting for us upon our almost-late arrival. All in all, we felt this spot was great - and we'll probably be back. Thanks, Mark and Esther!
