THE HISTORY: Our cottage is a blend of history and charm, much of it reclaimed from an 1800s farmhouse, built by the town physician, in Abbeville County, SC, located just 15 minutes away. From the old farmhouse sink to the beautifully preserved patina metal walls, the large wooden beams, and tongue-and-groove ceiling, every detail reflects its rich heritage. ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS LIVING At Sacred Creek, we are committed to living as holistically and toxin-free as possible. Most products used in the cottage, including those for cleaning the hot tub, are free from harmful chemicals. We’ve provided non-toxic toiletries for your stay, and we encourage you to use these in keeping with our eco-friendly values. INCLUDED IN YOUR STAY As part of your stay, we’ll provide a complimentary half dozen fresh, organically fed, free-range eggs from our very own chickens to enjoy during your visit! Additionally, your first bundle of firewood for the outdoor fire pit is on us – perfect for cozy evenings under the stars. If you’d like more, extra bundles are available on site for purchase. Please Note: To maintain our commitment to an environmentally friendly lifestyle, Sacred Creek Farm & Retreat is a smoke-free property – this includes our entire 40-acre grounds. We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us protect the land and ensure a clean, fresh environment for all guests.
